Fridge in room, hairdryer was available on request. Didn’t eat lunch/dinner here as ate out (toasty kind of food was available) They own dogs which run free in the external areas of the hotel. Staff try to keep an eye on them and remove them if they are in the way. They seem to be free all the time and bark through the night. We had bath (jacuzzi one) in our room. Would benefit having a shower. Very quiet, very laid back. Lovely ladies. Could do with an information pack. We had 5 nights here. Didn’t explore the whole hotel as felt like snooping in someone’s house."

- "We had booked Hotel do Lago but were transferred to Hotel do Parque which I understand is an upgrade. The area both hotels were located in is very interesting being in an area of Christian pilgrimage. The grounds make for an interesting and tranquil walk that was worth about half a day. The only real drawback is that there is only one restaraunt in the area and it doesn't open until 12:30 and closes after lunch until 19:30 which is a little late for us. " - "This is the perfect property if you’re interested in easy accessibility to Braga city center walking and shopping. The property is built in an old structure that may have contained stables. Gaining entrance has you using lock boxes and opening old doors into dark hallways that are motion lit as you enter. After 2 sets of keys, two combination lockboxes and 3 doors you are in your suite. From that point on entry and exits are much less complicated. I rather enjoyed the process, initially not knowing what light would turn on next. The room was clean and felt safe. It was perfect for our stay. The AC cools the entire building, so no individual controls in the room but no worries, the room was quite comfortable even during an unseasonably warm 91F day. The parking that we found around city center was pay and expired every 2 hours from 0900-1900 daily so there were a couple days, when parked there, that we would just go feed the meter. Overall it was a fun place to stay with restaurants opening for lunch and dinner right outside the building. I was very pleased we were able to stay and would highly recommend! "
