The towels are incredibly small. The windows can't be closed properly. The hotel staff is extremely young and friendly. There is no airconditioner, so when it is hot I think it is impossible to sleep. Negatives would be that there is no restaurant in the hotel, only a buffet breakfast but there are options close by. Code Zero restaurant was a decent option at the end of the street on the lake. Breakfast buffet could have been better to be honest, and it seemed if you didn’t get there early you missed most of it as turning up towards the end of breakfast the choice was quite limited. The bar seemed to close down early, but again there are options close by on the beach. One thing to note the beach is not free, you need to pay for access (around 5700 forints for 3 of us per day with the Hotel discount card). Overall a lovely hotel where a couple of improvements could really elevate the experience. Csopak is very quite so ideal if you want peace and quiet but Balatonfüred is a better choice with a lot more life an options to it if visiting the area. "

The house has on the ground floor 3 small bedrooms, living room (1x double bed, 2 x sofa bed, 1 x single bed, 1x emergency bed), a small kitchen, bathroom and a terrace. There is air conditioning in the living room, the windows are protected from the sun. At the entrance, outside the house, there is a small summer kitchen with an electric stove, sink, large fridge and a beer bench.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms (2 x double bed, 1x pull-out couch - blue in the picture). From the living room you can enjoy the panorama of Lake Balaton, you have a clear view to the Tihany peninsula. The bedrooms also have a beautiful view. Bathroom has been recently renovated, the small kitchen has a kitchenette and a fridge.
The garden is very spacious and therefore a bit overgrown. There are parking spaces directly at the house. If you're lucky, you can eat figs, grapes and cherries straight from the trees in the garden. The situation is quiet, the neighbors too.
The best way to get to the beach is by car (approx. 5 min) or by bike (10-15 min), it takes about half an hour to walk.
Electricity should be paid extra on site. If you reserve for at least 6 guests, the house is rented as a whole. Otherwise, only one floor is rented for bookings of up to 4-5 people. In the summer season it can happen that the other floor is rented to other guests, we can clarify this beforehand.
There is no television, but all mobile networks have good reception and 4G internet.
In the morning the baker's wagon comes with fresh bread, there are restaurants and wine cellars nearby. Aldi, Spar, Tesco are 3-5 km away, smaller shops are closer. Older bicycles can possibly be rented cheaply.
