We are a quiet family in a quiet neighborhood so no events, loud parties, raves, drugs or other nuisance. This rental isn't for you if you're into those things. This is not a Party House and that's strictly enforced.

It's a perfect place to sit back and watch the water life. In the evening stroll down the beautiful floral walkway through pink oleanders. Relax on the dock with your glass of wine or umbrella drinks and enjoy the wonderful sunsets and wildlife. There’s white and blue heron, ducks, geese, otters, and even a white pelican or seal from time to time. Bring your camera and binoculars!

The 40’ private dock has plenty of room to tie up your boats and watercraft. The dock is just 100 feet from ‘fast water’ where delta boat speeds are unlimited! The dock is also right across from Lido Beach. It’s a small tidal island where people hang out. The beach is easy to swim to or you can use the two included kayaks. Bring along your stand up paddle boards if you have them - highly recommended.

If you’re into fishing this will be paradise. Cast off with your favorite rig right from the dock. Fishermen travel from all over just to fish right here! It's a favorite spot for the locals and a great place to catch largemouth bass all year. The kayak has a pole holder if you want to go explore. An inexpensive fishing license is recommended.

The property includes a huge waterfront grass lawn - very rare in Discovery Bay. Lawn toys include croquet, horse shoes, bocce ball, Frisbee, and more! Bring your baseball mitts and other favorite yard toys. There’s a full size pool and huge wrap around deck with plenty of lounge areas. Don’t forget your pool floats!

The primary has a California King bed, French doors that look out onto the water, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a three-head custom shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a twin-over-queen bunk bed. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a walk-in shower (sorry, no tubs). All the bedrooms have Purple mattresses, linens, and pillows. Each bedroom is equipped with a large flat-screen Smart TV. Downstairs has its own half bathroom. There is an open-style living room, kitchen, and dining area that opens up to the large deck where another dining table and chat-style lounge seating with a fire pit table and a BBQ grill. Perfect for watching the sunset. The living area has games to play and an 80-inch smart TV. The entire home and deck have built-in speakers (please be courteous to our neighbors and friends who live on their boats).

We are in a quiet area of deep water that is perfect for swimming, fishing, and paddleboarding. You're welcome to use our kayak and two paddleboards. Please secure them when you're not using them. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

1. PURPOSE:
The use of our property is for family retreat purposes only. No party. No drinking party. No drugs. No smoking. No loud music.

2. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
Limit: We allow maximum of 10 guests and 4 daytime guests includes all ages. Day time guests are visitor who do not stay overnight. Day time guest must be registered prior to check-in date.

Toddler Policy:
Our home is not toddler-proof, and we can accommodate a maximum of 2 toddlers. Please consider this when planning your stay.

3. ANIMALS/PETS:
Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate pets on our property at this time but with conditions, it may be acceptable so please message us for this request.

3. DOCK SPACE: We do have a dock space where you can dock your boats/waver runners, however, it has no lift. You will have to tie your boat onto our dock. Maximum of 2 boats.

4. ALLERGIES: If you have environmental or animal allergies, we do not recommend our place since we are surrounded by wetland, wildlife, and pet visitors at times. We also have a constant visitor of outdoor cats, opossum who at times comes by at our deck when no one is around.

5. Upon confirming your reservation, we will request your personal email address. A company specific rental agreement will be emailed to the provided address and needs to be signed by both parties within 1 week after the reservation confirmation via DocuSign along with your valid photo government issued ID attached to the rental agreement. We will also send you a guest registration form and it has to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to register all guest. The detailed arrival instructions will be sent after.

Excellent wifi and hi speed internet to allow those work from home days and gaming. Our home is located in Beaver Bay, 5 minutes to fast water, the marina boat launch, gas station, Discovery Bay Yacht Club, Marina Boardwalk Shops and The Boardwalk Bar & Grill.
Our waterfront property provides guests a large private dock to enjoy. We have some life-jackets on hand, but vacationers will have to bring their own boats. Boat rentals are also available nearby. Our extensive dock has enough space to berth multiple boats. Keep in mind a maximum of 3 vehicles will fit in the driveway, all other vehicles and trailers must be parked at the marina. Marina is less than 1 mile away. The open bay is perfect for stand-up paddle boards and recreational fishing. We have 2 kayaks and 4 bikes available to explore the community.

Our home offers all the conveniences you could wish for in an elegant get-away. We have hi-speed broadband internet service, a 75" Smart TV in the main room, which also has surround sound and Sonos Speakers deliver high-quality audio throughout the house and onto the back deck. A fully equipped laundry room is available for guests to use.
A large master suite with a cal king bed is located downstairs. There is a sliding glass door providing fresh air, a gorgeous view of the water and access to the deck. This bedroom has a 65" smart TV with separate sound bar. Upstairs there is another bedroom with sliding glass door facing the water and a small private lanai. This large bedroom has a cal king bed and a 55" smart TV with separate sound bar. The 3rd bedroom has a queen-size bed; the 4th bedroom has 2 bunk beds. The lower bunks are full size beds that can easily sleep 2. A full bath is located upstairs and a separate half bath is located downstairs just off the main living area. The kitchen is equipped with dual ovens, a convection oven, and a microwave oven, toaster oven, gas stove with 5 burners plus a Keurig coffee maker, and a Ninja blender. No strong smelling / odiferous cooking is permitted in the house. ie: Curry, cumin, fish frying etc.

Our spacious deck is outdoor living at its best. This inviting area provides entertainment space perfect for family and friends to gather. Guests can use the Traeger smoker / barbeque to prepare outdoor meals. Bringing your own pellets is recommended. The large dining table seats 8 wih additional high bar table seating. If the weather cools down in the evening, the space can be warmed with 2 outdoor heaters.

The property offers an extraordinary central-location for out-of-state guests who want to fully engage in the Northern California experience. We are an hour’s drive from San Francisco’s fabulous downtown shopping, Fisherman's Wharf and historic cable cars.

We are an hour’s drive from fabled Napa Valley, with its incredible wineries and a three-hour drive from the majestic snow-capped mountains with world-famous ski resorts surrounding beautiful Lake Tahoe. Livermore valley wineries and large outlet shopping is also close by.

The Monterey Peninsula is only a two-hour drive south, so guests can get in a round of golf at one of the legendary golf courses — Pebble Beach, Monterey Pines, or Poppy Hills, to name a few. Or they can go on memorable deep-sea fishing excursions on Monterey Bay, go whale watching, or visit one of the planet’s most fabulous aquariums. Best of all, perhaps. Yosemite National Park is only a three-hour drive east. At some point, everyone should stand below the towering El Capitan or on the top of Glacier Point.

This large house has a modern architecture with bright LED lights and stylish interior decor. Upon entering the house, you will be greeted with a direct view of the lake calling you. The panoramic windows allows plenty of sunshine for you to soak up the beautiful views of the lake and perfect for watching the sun rise and set! A bay window gives a warm view of the neighborhood and a nice separate area for business travelers.

The common areas, kitchen and dining areas are all connected. There are two open common area spaces where you can hang out and play games (board games included). Both areas have wide windows to allow lots of sunlight. One common area has a fireplace were you can enjoy a good book or games with friends and family (Premium bluetooth speakers are equipped in this room). During the day you can also sit by the window and bask under the sun. This area opens to the main dining area which leads the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking essentials including a fridge, cookware, utensils, dishwasher, microwave and toaster oven. There are smoked fish boards for any of your catches and even a popcorn machine! So make some and enjoy a cozy movie night in our main common area which has a smart TV with cable. Or celebrate a birthday BBQ with the large entertainment deck and yard.

For water activities, we have one pedal boat (5 seat - max 530 pounds), 1 kids kayak (max 130 pounds), 1 adult kayak (max 220 pounds), and some floaties for guest to use. Please leave pedal boat and kayaks on dock before check out.

Safeway is only less then a mile away, with other eateries in Brentwood, cherry and fruit picking in the Summers. 15 minutes gets you to your favorite places like In-N-out and Chipotle and Target. Gas station is also in the same shopping center as Safeway, with sushi, breakfast restaurants and others. The Pier is right by the house as well to walk around, shop and eat.

Parking is plentiful with garage and driveway parking and plenty of street parking.

● The property has 14 outside security cameras and 1 Ring Doorbell Camera. The cameras are recording / monitoring for safety and security purposes 24 hours. No audio recording. There are NO cameras in the house. The camera locations and angles will be detailed in the rental agreement.

**Events & Gatherings:** We are perfectly suited for family reunions and special celebrations. Small events with up to a maximum of 20 daytime guests may be approved. All events with more than 12 guests must be approved by the owner prior to booking. An additional cleaning fee may apply for gatherings of more than 15 people. Professional catering may be permitted but also requires advance approval.

**Parking:** A maximum of 5 vehicles can be parked at the property: 3 in the driveway and 2 on the street in front of our home. Parking is not permitted in the garage or in front of any neighboring homes.

**Boats & Watercraft:** You are welcome to bring your own boat or jet skis and store them in our private boat slip. Your vessel must not be longer than 30 feet or wider than 9 feet. Please contact us for approval prior to booking if your vessel is larger. The host is not responsible for any damage or theft that occurs during your stay.

- "I want to first start off by saying that Rick and Jayme are amazing hosts! They came to our rescue when our family needed a place to stay. In summary, our daughter was getting married in the Brentwood area. We had a place lined up and the other host canceled our reservation at the last minute. I scrambled to find a place that was suitable in size, and a good location for our family. I searched VRBO and found this beautiful home that I thought would fulfill our needs for the wedding week. The only worry was whether we would be able to get it since it was last minute. Rick reached out to me personally and I gave him the run down of what occurred. Large, comfortable home has plenty of bedrooms and living space for all to enjoy together, and have their own space. Beautiful view of Mount Diablo from the deck; fish, kayak, boat off the dock; and fast water so close so you don’t need to chug along forever at 5 mph.

The expansive great room is perfect for a family reunion or multi-family trip! It has a theatre-like TV and second TV over bar, large sectional sofa, plenty of extra seats, and fireplace with electric insert. Gorgeous kitchen has granite counters and bars/barstools, 2 sinks, Viking Pro gas range, well-stocked pots/pans/utensils, and plenty of dishes. Sunken bar features a mini-fridge/freezer, ice/water dispenser and bar tools. The separate pantry has a commercial fridge and freezer, pass through window to deck, and plenty of space for whatever food and snacks you’d like. Dining seating for 18 at the table, bar counter, and kitchen counter. Plenty of plates, glasses, utensils and cookware for the whole crowd.

The downstairs master bedroom features a king bed, jacuzzi tub with two head shower, and TV. The huge second downstairs bedroom has two double beds, each with a twin trundle, a recliner sofa, built-in desk with computer screen, foosball table, and plenty of games. The 1/2 bath and the outdoor shower are also downstairs.

There are three more king bed bedrooms upstairs with beautiful views of the river and Mount Diablo. There are also two “slant rooms” upstairs - each are 16’ x 22’ with slanted ceilings over part (but plenty of full height space) that are extra fun for kids. One has two twin beds and the other has a queen and a double bed.

Outside there is plenty of seating so everyone can relax on the deck and enjoy the view while barbecuing on the gas barbecue. You can fish right off the dock! The dock is ready for you to bring your boat or jet skis, or borrow our kayaks (available for use) or pontoon boat (send inquiry to owner). We have two driveways that will easily accommodate 4-5 cars.

We even welcome your dog (up to two dogs but only up to 35 lbs. each due to hardwood floors) or cat (up to 2 cats).

The neighborhood is great. Our street is a long cul de sac where kids can play, but it is a family friendly neighborhood so no loud parties (sound restrictions prohibit noise after 9pm), no guests beyond those registered in the house, no smoking inside, and no illegal activity - we can assure you that neighbors will call the police if you violate the rules! Discovery Bay has a community center with a swimming pool, beautiful tennis and pickleball courts, two dog parks, and large parks with playgrounds, restaurants, and nearby shopping. Wine tasting and whiskey tasting are also nearby. Fun for all ages!

We also brought our boat so it was great to be located close to the fast water entrance. Our family spent most of our time together in the kitchen and adjacent large living room. The three bedroom two bath single story detached home features an open floor plan with updated kitchen and wet bar, and recently updated bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring all stainless steel appliances including gas grill/convection oven, dishwasher, and side by side refrigerator. A food processor, blender, and coffee maker with grinder are provided. The large living space features Cable TV with premium channels, On Demand, and unlimited Wi-Fi.

The Master Suite features a Cal-King bed and private bathroom with walk-in shower. The outdoor hot tub is directly accessible from the Master Suite through its own sliding glass doors. Two guest bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and the other two double beds share another full bathroom with shower and tub.

The expansive deck features a built-in outdoor gas grill with rotisserie, refrigerator, ice maker, TV, and fire pit. The outdoor ice maker is perfect for keeping your ice chest full and avoids countless trips to the store. Sun loungers, dining table, bar, and outdoor sectional with a propane fire pit is included along with a locker stocked with beach towels for your use.

In addition to the covered boat dock the large 44 ft U-shaped dock can accommodate up to 3 wakeboard boats and features a swim ladder to easily get in or out of the water. Included are two paddleboards, kayak, and a paddleboat. On the dock is a storage locker that contains a variety of wetsuits, life jackets, paddles, fishing poles, pool floats, noodles, and an inflator.

The home is conveniently located just across the street from a pizza parlor, deli, ice cream parlor, wine bar, ATM, gas station, and convenience store. Also across the street is a public rec center with tennis and pickleball courts and Olympic size pool where they host occasional outdoor summer concerts and movies.

Neighborhood
For food and entertainment, you can boat to several restaurants on the water such as Orwood, the Marina, and Sugar Barge to name a few. Within two miles is a shopping center that features Safeway/CVS, Starbucks, McDonalds and several other restaurants, including a sports bar/steak house. Everything your family and friends need for a great Delta vacation is at your finger tips.
Our home is centrally located between San Francisco, Sacramento, and the South Bay. It is a short drive to wineries in Napa, Livermore, Lodi, Amador and Placer County wine trails. Enjoy our local wineries like Hannah Nicole and Campos which often feature concerts, or take in the areas famous roadside fruit and vegetable stands and farmers markets.

We’re a 5-minute drive from Safeway, Starbucks, UPS, CVS. Our local pizza and ice cream place are even closer. Brentwood Farmer’s Market in the summer is a 15-minute drive. It’s the best of the Central Valley - the source of 80% of the United States' produce.

The golf cart is available to rent for $20 /day for adults over 21 years of age with a driver's license.

Dogs are welcome with a pre-approval from us and a $100 fee per stay per dog. Two dogs maximum per stay. Dogs must be house trained and you must pick up after your pet. We charge $250 for additional pet clean up.

Please be aware that our home hosts a maximum of 5 guests. We rarely accept bookings exceeding this limit.

Other Things to Note:

Our community is very lively with boating/water activities bustling with activity and excitement, particularly on weekends during the summer. So, while not quite a tranquil retreat in the summer months, this place is an ideal setting for lively family gatherings, barbeques, and enjoying the Delta! During the winter monthis this is a perfect peaceful retreat for home cooked meals by the fire with views of the Delta.

Our 52ft dock features a covered (top and 1 side) boat slip w/ a 10,000 lb Hydrohoist (enough room for a 44ft boat to stay covered from the elements) and 24 ft boat alongside the doc. We do have multiple PWC hydro ports (2 covered, 2 uncovered) to park jet skis out of the water. Right off the dock you can enjoy swimming and utilizing our various water toys including paddle boards, sea kayak, lily pa, water floaters, and two fishing rods.

Our home has one driveway parking spot & one in front of the house. Our golf cart is available for use at $20/day. You have access to over 1,000 miles of boating and jet ski waterways.

Hara Design is committed to the safety and security of all involved during a booking and we ensure our homes are also protected. We also have a non optional Accident Insurance Fee of $100 to cover any mishaps up to $500,000. So, you're covered for most accidental damages.
