The space

Our Farmhouse is located at an altitude of 412 Meters on a beautiful 66 acres of lightly forested land at the top of Yarra Valley with an established 10 Acre Vineyard in the countryside of Gladysdale. It is surrounded by Vineyards and lush green forest areas with beautiful views across the valley. There is approx 4 KMs of stretch of unsealed road but no problem for a normal car. There are gravel roads around the property and can be explored just by walking or on bike, Mud-bikes or car.

The farmhouse provides all basic amenities and it is a perfect spot to getaway from busy life and embrace the peaceful nature to relax and rejuvenate with family and friends. It comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults. Kindly refer the house plan in the photos to get an idea of the floor plan. It features:

• One Master bedroom with double bed and an ensuite with bath
• Second bedroom with two double beds separated by a central wardrobe
• A third bedroom with a bunk bed for 2 adults
• All beds are equipped with electric heated blanket, multiple soft and medium hard pillows and layered clean linen with a fresh towel.

• There are gravel roads all around the neighbourhood so you can enjoy walking, biking or just driving around looking over beautiful vineyards.
• With no light pollution at all, you would be thrilled to experience how dark a night could be and how bright a full Moon can possibly look like.
• During your stay you are welcome to explore the trails in the forest. Enjoy a meal outside in the undercover entertaining area.
• Refer to our guidebook where you will find lots of places to explore and once you are back, enjoy the outdoor with friends and family with a glass of wine and a fire pit after a long day exploring the valley.
• Bring you own firewood for potbelly and firepit and enjoy the outdoors.

Guest access

Guest has complete access to the farmhouse and on-site free parking for multiple vehicles. The farmhouse is wheelchair friendly as well. Other things to note:

• There is 4 KMs of unsealed gravel road to reach to the property but no problem for a normal car. However do check or download Google Maps in advance for the directions.

• We prefer minimum 2-night stays, however 1 night stay can be accommodated depending on your circumstances and the number of guests. Please feel free to enquire in case the dates are not available for your booking.

• Check yourself in with the lockbox. We will share the key safe location and code on the day of your arrival. Usual check-in time is 2 PM or later and check-out is by 11 AM. However, we are flexible and can accommodate early check-in and late check-out depending upon the adjacent bookings.

• We’re a working Vineyard. We try to get the work done in the vineyard when usually guests are not around but in some unavoidable circumstances (time sensitive work) you may see some people working there, however that won't affect your stay in the house. Kindly do not enter the vineyard or touch the vines while you are at the farm.

• Pets - The house is not fully fenced for pets. However many of our guests stayed with us with their house-trained pets without any issue. Pets are welcome, however not in the bedrooms. Pets and kids should be under responsible adult's supervision all the time.

- "As a retired couple looking for a short mid-week stay surrounded by nature, this property was ideal and offered a budget-friendly option for us. We enjoyed our short stay (3 nights) and we had everything we needed. The surrounding natural bushland and wildlife was beautiful and abundant. This property is suitable for children but they would need to be supervised at all times as there is an open dam (down a very steep dirt track) and vast wooded forrests opposite a lovely vineyard. On that note though, the huge undercover back carport/deck area is big enough for riding bikes, throwing a ball, a game of cricket etc. Providing shelter from the rain and sun, we loved this area and spent quite a lot of time there during the day and early evening. This farmhouse is culturally traditional in its styling so if you are expecting 5 star luxury with modern furniture and state-of-the-art decor, this is not for you. Having said that, it's very warm and comfortable, great quality bedding and super comfy bed in the primary bedroom, big family kitchen - an easy living family home. Local shops not close so make sure you take everything with you that you will need for your stay. As the crow flies, yes, 7-8kms realistic, but roads leading to property unmade and driveway leading to the farmhouse is quite treacherous in the wet (which is what we encountered). A four wheel drive or similar is recommended. Pot belly stove in the kitchen works, but filled the living room and kitchen with smoke, so we didn't use it. There is a split system in both the lounge and the primary bedroom, so still warm. No doors on second bedroom and third bedroom so they're open. Closing door on primary bedroom only. Depending on what you're looking for, there are some great positives in this vineyard/farmhouse property."

The back yard is totally enclosed with fencing and lockable side gates. Added builders fencing for those canines that are as tall as us. Our Cairn terrier can make no escape.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with a spacious deck that extends the living area and invites the outdoors in. - "If you're looking for a lovely, quiet and private getaway, you won't be disappointed with time spent at this tiny house! The hosts have made a beautiful little home; the bed was very comfy, all of the cooking utensils needed were provided, there was a double gas hob and bbq for cooking, and the wide deck out the front provides three different seating areas for you to enjoy. We spent many hours on the deck, enjoying the complete silence (apart from nature sounds), and it was the perfect comfortable place to sit out and look at the stars. There was even a coffee machine and frother provided so you'll get to enjoy your morning coffee with style! The host's home was barely visible through the trees - in fact, we didn't even see our hosts at all, and check in was super easy - so we really felt that we were in complete seclusion. I was thrilled to see no TV, and (as far as I know!) no wi-fi, as this was just what we were looking for. (mobile coverage was very good if you really need to have internet while you're there) There is even a little fire put outside on a paved area for you to enjoy. For us, it was the perfect little getaway, and we would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful tiny house, and would stay again in a heart beat. The space
Carl's hut discretely blends the old and the new, with heated polished concrete floors, vaulted ceiling, skylights, original timber beams, lime-washed walls, a bedroom with forest views and bathroom with a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the vines.

The beautifully appointed kitchenette features a retro-Gaggenau stove top, while automatic slab heating and split system air conditioning enable the ambient temperature to be sufficiently comfortable without the need to light a fire.

The windows have been fitted with insect screens so they can be opened for cross ventilation particularly when the weather is warm.

Sustainability and historical preservation have been paramount in the design, with the use of local materials including stringy-bark timber and clay.

Because Carl's Hut is located within a working vineyard, guests are asked not to venture among the vines due to bio-security protocols. The fencing around the venue is to ensure the privacy and safety of guests. There are numerous nature and walking trails in the area, some of which are only five minutes drive from the property.

The host can provide opportunities for guests to feed the animals during feeding times by appointment.
The 2 bedroom converted barn has a cosy lounge with a large smart TV and free WiFi. If you enjoy cooking there is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, full sized refrigerator, stove and oven and dishwasher. There is a breakfast dining in the kitchen plus a large dining table to enjoy your evening meal. If you choose to take in the views, a compfy outdoor setting is both on the decking or lower onto the pebble area. an electric BBQ is provided for your outdoor cooking experience.
A fully furnished master bedroom is provided with a queen sized bed and double wardrobe. There is a full sized bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity. Inside the bathroom is a hidden laundry behind double doors with a washing machine and laundry trough.
The second bedroom has a single bed that can be converted to two singles or a double bed with a large triple door wardrobe.
An assortment of board games and magazines are provided for those rainy days or family connections or if you choose to listen to music there is a radio for your use. If stargazing is your thing then Valley Views BNB is the place to be. On a clear night the sky is light up with stars. If you are an artist the farm has many views to inspire your creativity.
The Yarra Valley offers a wide range of experiences from markets, festivals, restaurants, wineries, walking and bicycle tracks and horse riding.
Valley Views BNB is located in Woori Yallock and 20 minutes to Healesville and 30 minutes to Warburton. There are two local pubs within 15min of Valley Views BNB. Tucked away behind the owner's residence, Nan's Cottage is a cosy one bedroom cottage offering you a warm and comfortable stay. Set in beautiful gardens and with an abundance of bird life visitors. Sitting on the deck with a cup of tea, you are sure to see visiting King Parrots and Rosellas, lets not forget to mention the resident possum who like to visit in the evenings.

During the summer months, guests have access to the swimming pool - Don't forget your swimwear, pool towels are provided. The pool is heating during the summer months, you can certainly use during winter months if you dare, however it won't be heated.

Nan's Cottage is located in Yarra Junction, walking distance to town, where you will find cafes and shops to explore along with a supermarket and pharmacy if needed. A short drive along the highway to Warburton, you can stop at Blue Lotus Gardens (seasonal) and other sights along the way. For those a little more adventurous, cycling from Yarra Junction along the Warburton Rail Trail to Warburton is a great way to take in the natural settings including the famous Yarra River. Further afield, around 20 minute drive is the tourist town of Healesville, with the wildlife sanctuary and many wineries and restaurants, which are definitely worth a visit.

Guest have sole use of the cottage on the property. The cottage is located behind owner Greg & Fiona's main residence.

The space
Our beautiful tiny house is situated on a gorgeous bush block which ensures privacy throughout your stay. It is equipped with a living space with kitchen facilities, bedroom with Queen size bed, full ensuite and decking area.
Wildlife are often visible on the property.
Guest access
The entire tiny home is available for your exclusive use. It is situated on a large bush block which allows you to wander at leisure around the property on the various tracks to enjoy the serenity.
Other things to note
We have paddocks available to keep horses in. Water troughs are in every paddock. We can also package a retreat for you that includes hay, feed and a small cross country area to use. We have The Bunyip State Forest only a few hundred metres from our property if you want to ride out and enjoy the trails and views.

The ideal Dandenong Ranges accommodation, located near Bam Bam Italian, the Australian Rainbow Trout Farm, SkyHigh Mount Dandenong, Silvan Reservoir, and Yarra Valley wineries and restaurants. Expect to see local wildlife such as kookaburras, wombats, kangaroos, and even the occasional echidna.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

Off-Grid Guidelines

- A wall-mounted fan and a portable air conditioner are available for use during daylight hours.
- Guests are encouraged to bring portable power banks, charge devices in advance, and conserve energy to avoid running out of electricity.

Important note:

- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
