The Rooms
Each of the bedrooms is meticulously curated to capture the beauty of the Yarra Valley and surrounds:

1. Clouds Over the Valley
On my several visits to the Yarra Valley, I’ve noticed that the clouds here look somehow denser and more imposing as they tower over hills and pastures. This is what the master bedroom is curated about: light, airy and soft.It's inspired by the clouds incorporating boucle textures, curves and fluffs. The farmhouse appeal is introduced by the sleek white barn door (opening to your own ensuite bathroom with double shower) and rustic white washed furniture.

With its own dresser table, full body mirror, bath robes, floral artwork, this room has been designed for wedding couples.

2. Autumn
In the Yarra Valley, Autumn is both gloomy and mesmerising. It's when the vineyards turn amber gold which contrasts nicely against the dark skies.This room is curated to capture these qualities: gloomy but uplifting; sharp but gentle.

3. Rolling Hills
Taking inspiration from the sweeping views of overlapping hills and greenery in the Yarra Valley, the Rolling Hills bedroom encapsulates the beautiful environment we all love in the region. When you think of Yarra Valley, other than the world class wine, it's the beautiful aspect of calming greenery that really captures you on your drive.

4. Memories of Yarra
If you have been to the Yarra Valley as a kid, you probably have fond memories of koalas at the Healesville Sanctuary, the joys of seeing hot air balloons, and playing in the playground set against the backdrop of sweeping vineyards whilst your parents enjoy their good food and wine.The Memories of Yarra Room will bring you back to those moments.Small but cosy, this is ideal for kids (can sleep adults too) with plenty of entertainment for them in the fun box.

5. Warburton
The Warburton Redwood Forest is mysterious and tranquil. It is painted in this room by using rust and olive colours, woody accents and forest "mushroom" lamps.I also find that the muddy Yarra River (embodied in the bow duo Yarra River textured artwork ) is weirdly more picturesque from near the Warburton town centre, as it's engulfed with aged fern trees and other greenery.

6. The Farmhouse
Yarra Valley offers a wide range of fantastic produce coming out of large farms, and this room is a tribute to that. Rustic yet sleek, this charming bungalow room gives you that Australian country vibe through messmate furnishings, farmhouse accents, high pine ceilings and vintage artwork. With its own living space equipped with Smart TV and a double sofa bed, next to the games room, spa and sauna, this room is made for entertainment.

3. Parking: Our driveway accommodates up to 6 cars. To prevent any inconvenience to our neighbours, no additional cars are allowed, and street parking or parking on neighbouring properties is strictly prohibited.

4. Quiet Evenings: To respect local laws and our neighbours, outdoor areas, including the deck and spa, are off-limits after 10:30 PM. This helps ensure a peaceful night for everyone in the community.

5. The maximum amount of guests allowed on the property at any time during the day or night is 16.

6. No Bucks or Hens: To maintain a relaxing environment for all guests and neighbours, we do not allow bucks or hens parties on the premises under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding!

Yarra Glen is a town located at the heart of Yarra Valley, a popular wine region with plenty of attractions and things to do for all ages and interests. Yarra Glen is a friendly and welcoming community.

• Antique shops, bakery, pizza shop, fish and chips, café and supermarket (Ritchies IGA) are a few minutes walk away.
• The McKenzie Reserve is only 5 minute away, with a large adventure playground and the barbeque facilities.

• The Yarra Glen Racecourse Market opens on the first Monday of the month from September to June, it’s the place for picking up some fresh produce to light up your taste buds.

• Visit the Alowyn Gardens if you love gardening!

If you are more on the active side, Sugarloaf reservoir is just 10 minutes away - you might want to spend a day in fishing or go for a walk around this beautiful reservoir. Hiking around the Stevenson Falls - one of the Victoria’s highest waterfall can be a fun activity too.
The Yarra Vally track nearby is a mostly flat bike track filled with stunning views.

Of course if you are an adventurous soul, you would love the air ballooning – Go Wild Ballooning and Skydive Yarra Valley are nearby which bring you beautiful sunrise and sunset scenery. The house has 5 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and generously sized kitchen with a large dining table and living spaces. Heated by a cosy wood heater and with evaporative cooling for the summer.
The perfect place to attend a wedding nearby or just to enjoy the beautiful Yarra valley, only 5 klm from Yarra Glen close to the chocolatierie and with abundant wineries nearby.

Bedroom 1 has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have comfortable queen beds. Bedroom 4 and 5 each have 2 king single beds all beds have electric blankets and all linen and bedding is supplied.
In addition there is a family bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a large 2 door fridge and large oven ideal if you choose to self cater. A smaller bar fridge is in the enclosed al fresco area for additional drinks if required.
There is a spacious lounge and a dining area with a table large enough for 10 guests and a separate tv room.
The established garden with abundant Birdlife can be enjoyed from the verandah while looking across the rural setting.
Guest access
Guests have full use of the house and surrounding garden. We only ask that you do not enter the paddocks or enclosures for your safety and the well being of the animals.
For the comfort of all guests there is strictly no smoking or vaping allowed inside the house

As this is a rural area our water supply is tank water from rainfall.
There is a generator onsite which comes on automatically if there is a power outage and switches itself off when mains power returns

Araluen Boutique Accommodation is located in the picturesque Steels Creek Valley, just 7 minutes north of Yarra Glen. The property is set amongst four acres of landscaped gardens and bushland and is the perfect place to relax for a few days, serve as a base to explore the region or come together as a group. We specialise in offering wedding accommodation and a venue catering small, intimate weddings.

Accommodation consists of three spa villas and four lodge rooms.
All villas are self-contained with an extension outdoor deck area with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside or the gardens and swimming pool.
Internal villas are open-plan with a self-contained kitchenette, dining area, lounge, master bedroom, and separate ensuite.
Each villa bedroom has a king-sized bed with luxury linen and pillows and an electric blanket for the colder months. Villa amenities include a fully equipped kitchenette with gas cook-top and range-hood, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, bar fridge, split system heating and air conditioning, gas fireplace, large smart flat-screen television, complimentary Wi-Fi, blue-tooth speaker, iron and ironing board and lots more.

All villa ensuites have a double spa, separate walk-in shower, heated flooring and towel rails, beautiful ASPAR toiletries, hairdryer, Sheridan towels and fluffy bathrobes.

The boutique and deluxe lodge rooms are located in the property's lodge building and are very generous in size. All rooms have king-size beds with luxury linens, flat-screen televisions, lounge chairs, in-room dining settings, microwaves, toaster, kettle, crockery, glassware, utensils, pool towels, iron and ironing board and more. Each room has a private ensuite with shower, vanity, heated towel rail, toilet, bathroom amenities, hairdryer and plush bath robes. The building is ideal for couples travelling alone or for a group of people looking for a venue where you can all be together, but with private accommodation rooms.

Guests residing in the lodge building also have access to a communal guest lounge and sunroom. This space is air-conditioned for the warmer months and has a wood heater for the cooler months. It also offers a small kitchenette with a bar fridge, glassware, crockery, kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities and a Nespresso coffee machine. Ample seating is provided to relax with a good book or gather with friends.
If hiring the property exclusively for a wedding group, we are happy to offer this area to the bridal party to use as a wedding day room, providing extra space for your hair and makeup artists to move freely, your photographer to capture the moment and for extended family to be included.
Please note if using the accommodation for wedding preparation, please get in touch with the property directly, as we require any third-party supplier that you ask on the property to assist with your wedding preparations to have legal liability insurance. If this is not possible, we need to discuss alternative arrangements.

The rate is room only. A complimentary selection of teas and coffee is supplied. You are also welcome to provide ingredients to have your own cooked breakfast.

The property also offers ample convenient car parking and an outdoor solar heated (heated Oct-Apr) swimming pool with pool towels provided. The area also offers lounge chairs and seating, dining tables and chairs, an alfresco deck with a pizza oven (on request only) and a Weber BBQ for guests to use. This space can also be used for pre or post-wedding functions. Enquiries for these functions must be made directly to the property and are not guaranteed if booking the whole property.

We do not have a restaurant on-site, but we have several fabulous restaurants nearby and takeaway options in Yarra Glen. Alternatively, if using the property for a function, self-catering is welcome, and so are caterers. Conditions apply.

The property is set on 3 acres of land with landscaped gardens, hobby vines, a picturesque dam with a jetty and a selection of fruit trees for guest picking.
