We are walking distance to our local Hotel, or the many Cafes the town has to offer.
Close to the Supermarket, Chemist and Bakery, this cottage is in the perfect location.
Take in the many walks that the area has to offer or maybe some golf, tennis or bike riding; mountain biking or road cycling.
Buninyong has been home to the Australian Road Racing championships where you could take on the challenging 12 km circuit including the Mt Buninyong 'King of the Mountain'.
A 10-minute drive into Ballarat is a short distance to visit Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife park, Lake Wendouree and the many historic buildings and landscapes of Ballarat.
There is a bus stop just a short 5-minute walk away which takes you into Ballarat and there is off street parking available on site.

Equipped with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms this spacious house is lovely for a getaway with your beloved family. Head down to the local Bannockburn hotel or local vineries located no more than 5 minutes from the modern Sherry's house and also an ancient town called Steiglitz located just 15 minutes from this house and also fairy park just 20 minutes (joy for the kids). Also a local shopping centre located just a couple minutes from the house where you could grab your late night snacks from the local Woolworths. On top of everything Sherry's house has a special wheelchair access entry from the other side to help those in need. Come to the country side of Geelong to have a blast, you won't regret it. Also at the front of the house we have a "park" which contains a water well, fire pit and a barebeque place which can all be used for our customers. NETFLIX included.

Set on a 4,000-acre cattle and sheep property, this delightful sand-stone cottage makes an idyllic retreat for city slickers who want to get away from it all.

The beautiful cottage takes its shape from 19th century settlers' cottages, but incorporates every 21st century luxury. It overlooks two tranquil trout-stocked lakes and a vineyard planted with cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and more recently, pinot noir.

With a big slow-combustion fire at the heart of its open-plan living area, beautiful handmade quilts on the beds, warm polished timber floors covered with country-cottage rugs and a deep claw-foot bath in the heated bathroom, the whole cottage exudes a warm welcome.

Each of the two bedrooms has French doors opening onto the verandah, which wraps around three sides of the house. The larger is furnished with a queen-size wrought-iron bed, blanket box and a delightful shabby-chic wing-mirror and wardrobe. The other, decorated brightly in reds and creams, has two single beds.

Details such as dado panelling and thoughtfully chosen furniture add to the settlers-cottage ambience, while creature comforts and entertainment have not been forgotten. The cottage has reverse-cycling air-conditioning, TV/DVD/CD facilities with a selection of CDs, DVDs, games and books; big, comfy fireside sofas; and a fully equipped kitchen. On a pleasant evening, you may choose to enjoy cooking outside on the barbeque. Pick up your supplies at Bacchus Marsh or Ballan on the way through to Sherwood Grange Retreat, as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity.

Guests are welcome to fish in the two lakes, stocked with rainbow and brown trout. The fish are "wild", feeding naturally on insects and providing a wonderful angling challenge. Bait fishing is not allowed (fly and lure fishing only), and guests may take one fish to cook for themselves at the cottage. Others should be carefully released. - "My volunteer team and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful property and James was a wonderful host. The house was even more beautiful than it appeared in the pictures (one of my team members commented several times that it looked like something straight out of Grand Designs) and James was prompt with his communication throughout the entirety of our stay. We were spoilt for choice with activities and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas were even more user-friendly than we imagined. It is hard to find properties that can comfortably cater for seven adults on a work trip but this was a favourite by far. We'll be back."
