But if you get up early to marvel at the views of a world UNESCO heritage site your going to be extremely disappointed and annoyed to see a HUGE amount of floating rubbish deposited by boats of all kinds including the boats that brought you there..!! My main issue was with their lack of coordination when it came to payment. They sent me a false billing statement that I had email about to be reassured I wasn’t being over charged. Then on the voyage, they wrongly tried to overcharge us for cocktails, and we had to insist that the manager was wrong to sort out the charge. Most of the itineraries for the cruises on Halong Bay are the same, so the only difference is the quality of the room and service. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The service on the boat was amazing. Every one from the guides to the servers were kind and helpful. The drinks on the boat are a little expensive and if you take the shuttle bus from Hanoi you stop a tourist trap for a bathroom break, but other than that our experience with Signature Cruise was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a first class experience on Halong Bay."
