In the quaint little town of Dunedin, you'll find festivals, shopping, antiquing, and many fine and reasonably priced restaurants or you can hop on the Jolly Trolley and explore all the way from Clearwater up to Tarpon Springs to see the sponge divers.

Just steps away from the villa is the Pinellas Trail, a multi-use recreation trail extending from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs, providing a unique, protected greenspace for walking, jogging, skating and biking. Bike rentals are available just two blocks away.

For the sports-minded, Dunedin and nearby Clearwater are the homes to the spring training facilities for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Philadelphia Phillies.

The problem I had was with the area around Dunedin, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor and Oldsmar. It is so overcrowded with people and traffic that there is hardly a square foot anywhere that isn't developed into a shopping center, a trailer court or housing development. The traffic was lined up a quarter mile long at the stop lights and that was 3 lanes wide! I've been to Panama city beach and Destin many times and never felt intimidated to drive my car around that area like I felt driving in the Tampa area. My brother lives there and I will never go back even to visit. I'm not a timid driver but the people there drive like they are nuts. Just not my cup of tea. Sorry."

- "We had such a great time here for a wk. Not only did FL cooperate well with weather. The unit itself is on the perfect spot! Especially for people like us who bike. There are three directions you can go from the unit & not put your bike on a car. The Causeway and into Honeymoon Island. You can also bike both directions on Pinellas trail toward Tarpon Springs or Downtown Dunedin. They are the easiest trails so we took 2 bike rides a day most days. The owner graciously offers 2 passes to get in free for 4 units to share that we leave in a common area after use. Everyone was using them but getting turns to do so wasn't an issue. We used them 2x for bike rides into the island and 2x to drive in, to sit on beach, over a 7 day period. The kitchen is great, well stocked. Dishwasher helps you not have to do dishes while on vacation. We slept in master bedroom which is comfy. We brought out own Fire Stick since it's already logged into our viewing accounts & all the TV's had easy access to the HDMI port. Just bring power strips if you want to plug in multiple things to charge. The balcony is lovely! I love that they tell you not to smoke on balconies. We hate when people do at other places and you can't enjoy outside. They have a smoking area on the side but no one used it while we were there. So I can't say if it would drift up to the balcony or not. Great communication from host couple times we had questions. We hope to return to this place many times. Thank u, Dean."
