Our rustic cabin is nestled in the town of Waterville within walking distance to everything the town has to offer. The cabin is bordered by the stocked trout waters of the Little Pine Creek in the back and the beautiful Pine Creek Rail Trail on the side. Views of both the creek and the rail trail bridge are enjoyed from the back deck. We provide propane, a gas grill, a gas Blackstone griddle, and a stocked pile of firewood to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard. 6 Adirondack chairs are available for use on the deck, around the fire, or sitting by (or in!) the creek.

Fishing, kayaking, and tubing can be enjoyed on the Little Pine, or you may take the short walk down the street and use the public easement to access the Pine Creek.

Walking from the cabin you can easily get to the Historic Waterville Hotel, McConnells General Store and the beautiful Waterville community park.

Little Pine State Park and the Haneyville ATV Trails are both just a short drive from Waterville, as well as the numerous access points along the Pine Creek for fishing, kayaking & tubing.

This cabin is rustic in feel however it does have running water as well as a full bathroom. We also provide reliable high speed internet and a streaming TV complete with a Youtube TV subscription in the living room. You will also enjoy the peace of mind provided by our automatic whole-house generator for any power outages.

The location of the cabin is also great for attending Penn State home games if you're looking for an affordable stay outside of state college. Beaver Stadium is 55 miles away and easily accessed by Route 220/I-80. We are happy to help with any Penn State questions regarding tickets, parking, tailgating etc!

Cell phone service varies depending on carrier and is very spotty. The convenient location of the property also means that it is close to Route 44, so if vehicle noise is a problem for you please be aware of that.

Security cameras are located outside the house due to the remote nature of the location. They will not be monitored unless there is an issue.

Get away from it all at Miller Time, the premiere Pine Creek vacation spot in the Wilds of Pennsylvania, located directly on the creek. This quaint cabin includes all the amenities of home, in a serene mountain location. Bring the family, or a group of friends to relax and unwind under the blue sky--there is plenty of parking. Our two bedroom, one bathroom cabin accommodates 4 people comfortably, and is pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends along as well (dogs only, with a fee). The master bedroom sleeps two, while the additional large bedroom sleeps four in single beds. Begin each day by enjoying a cup of coffee from the Keurig while rocking on the screened-in porch and spotting wildlife across the creek, including deer, bald eagles, and the occasional bear. Load up the bikes for a spin on the Rails to Trails, or take a paddle in one of our kayaks. Hop down the stairs to the creek and take a dip in the swimming hole, or try your hand at fishing or catching crayfish. Feeling less adventurous? One of our favorite past times is simply pulling up a chair and watching people cruise down the creek each day in their kayaks. When dinner time rolls around, sip a cocktail and prepare dinner in the kitchen, or grill some steaks on our gas grill. Eat right outside at the picnic table, enjoying the priceless view. Don't feel like cooking? Try out some of the delicious local eateries, including our favorite--Santino's Italian Cuisine, located a short walk up the driveway. Take advantage of our 1-acre property in the evening by playing some of the many lawn games available at the cabin, including cornhole and ladder golf. When evening rolls around, it's time to get the campfire going, and pull up a chair around the fire pit. We provide the firewood, and have plenty of equipment for making smores, mountain pies, or roasting weenies. Stargazing is also a highlight, and if the sky is clear, you will be certain to spot some shooting stars. The evening is the perfect time to enjoy a beer and conversation while looking down over the creek and roasting a s'mores. After a busy day, the perfect ending is dozing off with the mountain breeze coming through the windows, and the sound of the babbling creek below. On a rainy day, take some time to check out the books and board games around the house, or journey to one of the neighboring towns to do some wine tasting or to explore the world-renowned Little League World Series Museum in South Williamsport. **Our cabin was purchased as a retreat to enjoy time with family and friends, and to slow down and unwind. As such, we do not have television, internet, or cell signal on the property. No matter what activities you choose to do during your visit, we know you will have a great time. We provide the linens, bath towels, and even some towels for the creek..all you have to bring is yourself! This property is locally-owned, and the owners are readily available in the unlikely event that any problems would arise during your stay.

Great hunting, fishing, hiking, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, bicycling or just relax and enjoy great view of mountain scenery. Half hour to Hyner View State park. 90 minutes to PA. Elk herd in Benezette, 30 minutes to Pine Creek rail trail (62 miles of well groomed trail) that goes from Jersey Shore to PA Grand Canyon. 30 minutes to ATV / snowmobile groomed trail that goes all the way to New York. Good cell phone service. Good TV reception via antenna on roof. DVD player with good selection of DVD's. Internet available via your mobile phone hot spot. Good signal with Verizon and AT&T. Lesser with other services.

This would definitely be an ideal location for a relaxing getaway when the weather is perfect for sitting outside on one of the covered porches enjoying a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate. The door will be open with keys on the counter in the kitchen. There is a book with information there also. You will need to bring sheets and towels. When accessing Little Pine Creek you will need to do so to the left of the trout cabin and exit there also. Happy Acres Restaraunt is to the right when getting back on the road. Please be considerate of the neighbors and keeping noise levels to a minimum. have the place cleaned up with all dishes, pots and pans, and silverwear cleaned and put away. Good communication and nice on the phone. The inside of the actual unit was clean with a modern vibe. There was a minor issue with check in but it was the real estate agent style lock and not the owner. She corrected it really quick. The tiny little AC unit had no chance of cooling the unit in August. The unit has 3 original 6'x8' windows with sheer curtains. The AC unit ran the entire time I was there and the lowest the temp got was 77 degrees and that was in the middle of the night or early morning. Most of the time the temps in the room were in the 80s. The room is fully lit with sunlight the second the sun rises. The shower 'area' has no seat nor shelving. There is body gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided but for the ladies that want a seat to shave their legs or a shelf to place their own products, no luck. The parking lot does have countless potholes so drive carefully. As you can see from the pictures, the building is a former factory with little to no work/renovation being done on the outside. I saw the pictures and knew what to expect in that regard when I arrived. However, I was not aware the ground floor where you enter is essentially a former storage area that has never been cleaned out. Also, there are multiple businesses in the building including the 3rd floor. This includes a massage business that is open until 10pm. The smell of weed was pretty prevalent in the evening. Didn't really bother me but noting it for others. The morning of checkout I took my suit case out to my car and attempted to go back in to get my remaining items only to find out that I was locked out of the building. Luckily a full time tenant walked out behind me and she also got locked out. Apparently if the latch gets flipped it will lock the door and the there is no key to the outside door included on the key ring provided by the owner. The full time tenant was able to call her daughter and have her bring over a key to the outside door to get us back inside. There was also a barking dog down the hall one morning but that did not start until about 8am. Querida is great and this is probably a good fit for the younger crowd but I would not stay there again."

The grounds were immaculate and the fire ring and chairs made for an amazing view of the night sky!! Not far from Penn State also. Lots of cool things locally. Eagle State park was awesome. This place is a no brainier for any one who has an RV. Our 27 foot travel trailer fit with a lot of room to spare. If you like quiet this is the spot. Also just like in description it is close to i80. cant say enough about this spot. You will not be disappointed !!!!"

My husband and I grew up coming to this area of Pennsylvania and have fallen in love with the beauty of the outdoors that this area boasts. Our family loves kayaking, tubing, canoeing and fishing the Pine Creek, walking and biking on the 62 mile Pine Creek Trail, visiting McConnell’s Country Store for soft serve ice cream, subs and sandwiches, t-shirts and fishing tackle, going to the Mountaintop Provisions for the meal with the best smoked meat around and more. There is so much to do to fill your time in this area, but it is also the perfect place to sit back, unwind and relax if you need some time to slow down. Most of the folks who live in this area, live here because of the peaceful beauty of the outdoors and for the privacy of being away from people. Please respect our neighbors desire for privacy and avoid trespassing onto their land.

The best time for boating / kayaking the pine creek is March - May. Water levels tend to be lower in the summer making it more difficult to float.

This stylish 2 bedroom getaway has been fully renovated and professionally decorated. We took an old trailer and transformed it into a cozy stay near the Pine Creek Gorge, one of our favorite areas to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Just 20 miles north of Lock Haven, this location is a peaceful retreat with an unforgettable view. During your stay, there is a high chance of encountering wildlife of some kind when sitting on the covered back deck.

With nearby access to ATV and Snowmobile trails, the Pine Creek Gorge and Pine Creek Trail you’ll have plenty of options for activities no matter what season you choose. While we love the area and the activities available, we can also appreciate a quiet weekend in without the need to go on any adventures. This is why we’ve fully stocked the cabin with plenty of games, books, a 55” Roku TV with a DVD player and tons of classic movies, Starlink Internet access, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating.

The bedrooms are on either end of the cabin with the living room, dining room and kitchen in the center. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking & dining, including plenty of coffee mugs to enjoy your morning cup of coffee out on the covered deck or inside on the couch watching the snow fall over the mountain.

Between both living room areas, there are three couches, providing plenty of options for where to sit to enjoy a cup of tea and read a book, or to watch old movies all weekend. One of the couches is a Koala Queen Sofa Bed that unfolds and can sleep two. This is a perfect bed for kids!

Both of the bedrooms have comfortable beds with Organic bedding from Quince and Threshold - because we sincerely believe that even a cabin in the middle of nowhere should have good bedding.

There are two full baths, one in the hallway off the living room and one en suite off of the master bedroom. The hallway bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the master bathroom has a handicap accessible shower.

There are two sliding glass doors in the main living area leading out onto a covered deck with lounge seating and an outdoor dining table. There is a Blackstone Griddle for outdoor cooking. The deck overlooks a beautiful view of the mountain.

Cell Service can be limited depending on your carrier. - please plan accordingly for your navigation to the cabin. We do have WiFi at the cabin. We are able to stream with the WiFi, but it occasionally cuts in and out - a reality of WiFi in the woods. While there is a wood stove in the living room, we unfortunately do not allow guests to use it for liability reasons. However, we have a fire pit area outside which is perfect for campfires and s’mores!

Please note that this house is surrounded by woods and nature, which means that bugs are very normal and in most cases harmless. We work hard to keep the cabin clean, but we would be naive to think that bugs won't make it inside with people coming and going throughout their stay. Keeping the doors closed will help to keep the bugs out, but we want guests to understand that when you stay in the mountains surrounded by woods, bugs and wildlife are inevitable.
