This lovely lake cottage on the East side of Lake Maxinkuckee was newly built in 2000. Its architecture and charm is in keeping with the larger 100 year old historic house that shares the property and pier with this cottage. The Historic cottage sleeps 13 (see listing 512710) can be rented as well for large groups if it's available at the same time. You can watch & participate in lake activities, sun & swim from the dock, grill your dinner or visit one of our excellent restaurants in our quaint town. Watch vibrant sunsets and shooting stars nightly over the lake from the patio and enjoy a bonfire on cool nights.'. The vaulted ceiling great room has a lake stone wood-burning fireplace. Start your morning with a paddle on the provided kayak. Visit the historic Culver Academy on Sunday afternoons for their military parade and famous Black horse troop of Presidential inaugurations. This glacier-made spring fed lake supports fishing, skiing, tubing & jet skiing. The dock has available an available lift for rent should you bring your own boat. Stella's is an upstairs apartment that features 1 bedroom with queen size bed, living room with TV expanded cable, kitchen and full bath with tub & shower. Upstairs is 22 steps from the street level. Enjoy a cozy spot in downtown Culver with fully equipped kitchen. This apartment has wireless internet as well as a washer and dryer. A folding bed isstored in the laundry room. It would be set up in the living room. Located in downtown Culver on a block with shops and restaurants. The private entrance to the Max's Back Apartment is marked 'The Loft' and is located next to Cafe' Max. . Check out is 11am. Check in is 3pm though it can be earlier if apartment was not rented preceding night. 400 sqft . This apartment is at the END OF THE HALL-2nd of 2 apartments. No minors are allowed to reside alone in the unit. An adult of age 21 or greater must be present during stay with minors. - "The Loft was a great place to stay, come, and go! It's not fancy here but this isn't what we came for. This is a low-key place where you can be comfortable, move around in different rooms, make some easy food or reheat your leftovers from the town, sit and relax without being on top of each other. We didn't use the W/D or cook a meal, but it was great for sleeping in, toasting a bagel, drinking coffee, then getting on your way. We ventured around town and came back for mini rests before the next event - this place is perfect for such. The owner Susie is sweet - we met her at Cafe Max. Cafe Max was our favorite meal, apart from Papa's Pan Pizza. Nothing bad to say about the other restaurants but these were our favorites. The apartment has great access to Main St. and the fun, eclectic stores. Parking was very easy. Unlike other guests, we were here for the Lake Festival and Culver Homecoming but we never heard noise from below. There is a historic, downtown, charm while staying here. There are indeed steep stairs to get to the apartments but for us, this was part of the charm! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and functional. We'd stay here again, for sure! Thanks Susie!"

I did not notice any noise coming from downstairs like the description stated. The bed was very comfortable and the place had a nice kitchen. The owner was available to help with any questions. This large historic lake cottage was first built as a boathouse and fishing lodge around 1900. It sits right on the lake on a large piece of property in the middle of the historic East shore, comfortably sleeping 13 people with our 5 bedrooms. There are 2 large dinning tables accommodating up to 20, it makes a wonderful space for families or groups of friends.
Lounge on the large screened-in porch, and enjoy our huge grassy lawn for sunning and recreation. Ours is one of the few walk out flat lawns to the lake making it easy to watch and play with your children as you can access the lake from ankle deep waters. You can swim, sun, fish and play from the end of the dock in waist-high waters. We have a pontoon boat available to rent separately from the house of a boat lift we can make available for rent if you'd like to bring to bring your own. We also have water toys, floats and a kayak for your enjoyment. The lake is great for skiing and tubing, and the sailing & the eastside sunsets can't be beat!
The Culver Academies are about a 5 minute drive from our house and 7 minutes from town where you can find several wonderful restaurants, an old-fashion root beer stand and a great public beach and playground.
We are also within a 5 minute drive from the Culver marina where you can rent boats, dine in their bar or outdoor grill and shop in their awesome apparel and lake sport shops.

There is also a new cottage that shares the property and pier, and it is available for rent and sleeps 6- 8 (see Ball Family Cottage (559346) Culver listings). You might want to rent both for an even larger gathering!

Situated on 6.5 acres of peaceful countryside and surrounded by neighboring fields, our loft is modern, yet rustic and inviting. Location is 1.5 miles away from Lake Maxinkuckee and 2.5 miles to the Culver Academies. The location is close enough to everything Culver has to offer.

The Loft features a bedroom with a queen bed, yet in true loft style, it has a set of fun twin bunk beds and a queen pull out to accommodate even larger families. The first level has two queen Murphy beds as well for larger groups.

In addition to our Lake Max Loft rental space, we are able to accommodate weddings and other events on our property, known as, Lake Max Meadows for an additional fee.

The Lake Max Barn Studio is a barn built in 1916 and renovated into a beautiful rental perfect for a quick stay in Culver. Our 6.5 acre property is located just 1.2 miles from Lake Maxinkuckee and 3 miles from the Culver Academies. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and an additional twin bed and full sized sleeper sofa. The property has a kitchenette with a full size fridge, sink, small counter area and coffee maker. The property also is the home to The Lake Max Loft which is also available to rent additionally and sleeps ten. Our home is also located on the same property.

Welcome to our home in Culver Indiana. Our home is brand new construction with all new furnishings. This home is very close to Lake Max located downtown Culver and very close to Culver Academies and near all of the downtown restaurants. We have a child that attends the Academy and purchased this home because it was so hard to find a place to stay in Culver. We wanted a beautiful place to stay and decided we would rent it out to others sot they would be able to find a wonderful place to stay. You will be renting the first and second floor of our home we have a completely separate apartment that is a walkout basement in the rear of the property that we occasionally use during the school year.

Welcome to Culver Indiana! The second you enter the front door all of your everyday stresses will melt away as you take in the expansive views of Lake Max. This 6 bedroom home has everything you need to create a lifetime of memories.

The upstairs master has high vaulted ceilings, balcony and stunning views of the entire lake. The basement game room includes ping pong table, bubble hockey and large screen TV.

The first floor has an open floor plan with incredible views of the lake from the living/great room. The kitchen also captures views of the lake. Two bedrooms finish off the floor.

The lower level is a kids dream. Ping pong, “bubble” hockey, and a gaming system are just a few of the things they will love after a full day on the lake. They will beg to stay in the bunk room (2 bunk beds) even if there are bedrooms available in the rest of house.

The top floor has one bedroom with two double beds, another with one double, and a master that will take your breath away as you walk through the french doors that open to a balcony facing lake. The sunrises are truly something you will never forget.

The private dock has a large seating area for lounging, swimming or kayak around the lake (2 kayaks provided).

A beautiful patio facing the lake is perfect for congregating for meals or just “hanging out” and is a great place to take in the the parade of boats passing by as you grill or sit by the fire table.

In addition to the home, the town of Culver is just an incredible community. Great restaurants, a wonderful coffee shop and an ice cream parlor are just a few of the attractions.
