We have made this Canal Builder’s 1850’s era home into a comfortable and fun place to enjoy while visiting the Lambertville and New Hope areas. Great AC and Wi-Fi- great kitchen, several unique places to sit and relax, read, etc. The host gave helpful written detailed instructions and was available when needed. It is important to note that you must be able to walk up steep, narrow steps to get to the bedrooms. Also, the upstairs bathroom is located in the master bedroom so be prepared to share. Spend the day exploring the rivertowns on the Deleware. We are 1 mile from dowtown Lambertville NJ and New Hope PA. After a day of shopping and dining come back to our retreat to relax by the fire, soak in the hottub. There is a lot to offer in the Hunterdon/Bucks area. We have beautiful state parks to hike or you can bring/rent bikes to ride on the Deleware canal and explore other rivertowns with dining, craft beers, and wineries. If you are coming with kids, there are plenty of parks, a brand new vintage arcade. In the summer, there is tubing and kayaking on the river. Other seasonal favorites are the New Hope haunted train ride, Santa Steam train ride, and the Spring Shad Festival.

- "I had the pleasure of staying at this delightful private apartment/studio in July. I was not looking to cook much during my 3 night stay. There are many options to eat in Lambertville and New Hope. But I also brought provisions which were accommodated by the fridge, microwave, and electric griddle. If you are looking to cook meals, this may not be the place for you. It was perfectly suited for myself -- a lovely reading nook, outdoor seating to relax and eat, and easily walkable to the paths of the Delaware & Raritan Tow Path. I was looking for a place that was easily accessible to the lovely town of Lambertville/ New Hope, safe, and close to all the wonderful outdoor activities-- hiking, biking and kayaking. All of which i was able to enjoy while staying in this humble abode. Leah, the host, was very accommodating and responsive. Kudos for a wonderful stay!"

You can enjoy the front porch swing bench and watch the people and ducks on the canal or the private fenced in back yard with an out door dining table. you can also enjoy the view of the canal from a private second floor screened in porch. 1850’s era home into a comfortable and fun place to enjoy while visiting the Lambertville and New Hope areas. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

Lovely downtown space in walking distance of everything - including New Hope. Directly across the street from the tow path to downtown. Lovely outdoor space with a patio. Home lovingly expanded & restored as a quaint & classic cottage with detailed wood paneling, tin ceilings & hard wood floors.
Wonderful space for groups including the whole house with 7 beds (king, 4 twins, 2 queens) - sleeps 10. Charging stations throughout among other comforts.
On street parking. Loading and unloading available in front of the garage. Great space for socializing with your group and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The open floor plan between the kitchen, dining room and living room creates an engaging environment and roles right into the outdoor patio. The master bedroom includes a reading nook with a day-bed that has a trundle bed with 2 singles ideal for kids and a large walk-in closet housing a trundle bed with 2 singles. Three desks with hard internet connections providing a private place for guests that need to work during their stay. Additional fees may apply for 4 or more guests. Open to considering pets and the fenced yard creates a safe place in town for visiting furry guests.
