- "Brand new" - "It is brand new and everything seemed to go flawlessly. Staff was nice at checkin and the place was clean as a whistle. After I parked my car and got my suitcase I proceeded to walk towards the entry door and I heard someone say, “Hello, welcome!” I looked to my left and there was a woman looking at me with a big smile standing on the flower bed pulling a few weeds. Upon walking inside we were greeted again with a warm welcome and big smiles from the front desk staff. The hotel and rooms have a really nice neutral modern look, I loved that the rooms are suites as we had a comfortable sofa for tv watching that converts into a pull out bed if needed. The lobby had a really nice bar and after dinner the first night we sat at it and had a nice cocktail. The hotel had a great complimentary breakfast with everything that you could want for a complete breakfast and the coffee was great. We only had one very minor issue with the shower head and we happen to be walking out of the elevator to go out and my husband saw a guy that was an employee and it turned out he was the maintenance guy. My husband explained the issue to him and he was very nice by the time we got back to the hotel we ran into him again and he said he took care of it. This hotel was lovely and is in a great location with a friendly, attentive staff that made our stay perfect. I highly recommend it and I would definitely stay there again. "

- "The house was clean and very cozy. All appliances were in working condition. The owners of the property are a lovely family: they will even give you any amount of farm-fresh eggs from their cute hens. Very lovely, quiet place to stay." - "If you enjoy something different from the hustle and bustle of town, and want the true feeling of Pennsylvania life, stay here. The covered porch with ceiling fans was so relaxing to enjoy in the evening. Fresh eggs from the henhouse next door were delivered to our porch each day. The caretaker was so friendly, and the owner responded to every question that we had. The air conditioning units worked wonderfully to keep us cool both day and night. Having no doors on the bedrooms was not an issue for our family. Being just minutes away from the University where our grandson had a national lacrosse tournament was very handy. Please don’t overlook this place, It’s a gem."

During your stay, you can enjoy sitting by the fire. We provide chairs and firewood for the fire pit in the yard. We have short walking trails through our woods with hammocks available along the way! You can enjoy sitting on the private covered patio outside the entrance to the lower-level apartment. The apartment is the lower level of an occupied home which is extremely quiet. We are absolutely ok with guests enjoying themselves and having a great time, there is no sound limit inside of the apartment. Music can also be played at a reasonable level outside without a curfew. Guests must be 21 to rent The Kintner Getaway. Guest must show government ID with a selfie prior to check in.

There are no pets allowed in the lower level of the home. Although, special request may be made. Please message host.

There is one California king-size bed in the main bedroom area. In that area, there is also a 52" tv. There is also one queen bed in another bedroom area that can be separated by a room divider curtain. We do not have cable tv, we have internet tv. You may use our netflix and/or login to whatever service you prefer. We also provide towels, one set of sheets, dish soap, shampoo, hand soap, pillows, comforter, throw blanket, and k-cup coffee maker. There will be additional goodies provided when available. We always like to leave little surprises.

The kitchen has a full set of pots and pans, dishes, cups, silverware, and cooking utensils. We also provide a variety of spices above the stove for your use. For every stay, each guest gets the use of a brand new sponge, bath & body works hand soap, full dish soap, 1 new roll of paper towels, and 2 clean dish towels. The dining room table is a great spot to set up your laptop and work. There are different outlets right behind the table for your laptop or phone.

The bathroom is fully stocked with fresh towels, hand towels, wash cloths, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, flat iron, some hair styling products, and a magnifying mirror.

We are close to many attractions. Great Barn Brewery is right down the road. They occasionally have events on the weekends and a website where you can preorder special types of beer and then pick up. NYC is about 1.5 hours away. Philadelphia is about 1.25 hours away or less. There are many hiking options available all within 10 min - 2 hours away. Delaware River is just 15 min away. Frenchtown NJ is 20 min away. Milford NJ is 15 min away. Easton PA is just under 25 min away.

Nestled in scenic farmland, this furnished modern apartment is a perfect getaway within 30 minutes of local highlights. Enjoy the fall colors in September, hayrides in October, and holiday Christmas lights and shows starting in November. The surrounding landscape features lawns, gardens, two terraces (one with tables and chairs to accommodate 10 for dining, the other with seating around a firepit), and a small pond/garden with seating around another firepit. The 18th century stone bank barn, smokehouse, springhouse, garage, and other outbuildings add history and charm to the setting. Enjoy the peaceful view from the flagstone terrace adjoining the house, across the lawn overlooking Cooks Creek, a designated Class A exceptional value stream with native and brown trout. Relax by the firepit on the garden terrace, taking in the long view across gardens and pastures.

Highlights of the delightfully updated home include its original random-width pine floors, deep-silled windows, and working stone fireplace in the living room. Two other fireplaces in the house add decorative charm (but are non-working). Tasteful antique and contemporary furnishings throughout the house create a welcoming and comfortable ambience. Living room and dining room open to the terrace that spans one side of the house overlooking the creek. The bar/library adjoining the living room provides a small refrigerator, sink, and glassware for easy entertaining, as well as shelves of books for your ‘spirited’ enjoyment.

The large, eat-in kitchen offers all the necessities for gourmet cooking, a center island, plenty of workspace, and cabinets of china and glassware for every occasion. A cozy TV/sitting room adjoins the kitchen, providing satellite service with a 42" HD screen, high speed Internet/Wifi, Blu-ray player, Sony receiver with AM/FM radio, and double speakers (with the second pair in the living room). A powder room completes the first floor.

Upstairs, the master suite is a light and airy private space including bedroom with queen bed, decorative fireplace, and sitting area overlooking lawns, garden, pastures and Cooks Creek. Adjoining the bedroom are walk-through closets, bathroom, and a private stairway to the first floor. The master bath has a separate toilet area, glass-walled tile shower, tub, and dual vanity sinks.

A second charming bedroom offers a double bed, closet, and views of lawns, garden, pastures and the creek. A third small room is a charming study with a desk and sofa. A full bath with tub/shower is easily accessible to the bedrooms. The main hallway and stairs complete the second floor.
The basement provides laundry facilities and a third full bath.

The property is easily accessible...a 90 minute drive from New York City and 60 minutes from Philadelphia. The property is located on Route 212, two miles west of the Delaware River at Riegelsville, PA, where the beautiful ‘River Road’ (Route 32) branches off Route 611 and follows the river south through quaint Bucks County villages on the way to New Hope (a 45 minute drive).

The locale offers the best of several worlds...the natural beauty and peace of an undeveloped, largely conserved rural setting; the quaint Bucks County villages and venues for which the area is so renowned; and the cultural offerings of nearby towns like Bethlehem, Doylestown, and New Hope that are brimming with alluring activities. This charming cape-cod style home has wood floors and old charm. In the living room you'll find a large built-in book case, with a fireplace (not usable) and two comfy sofas and a sitting chair. Through the foyer there's an office with a large desk and chair. There's a dining room off of the small kitchen that overlooks the manicured back lawn. An open stone side porch offers a quiet place to sit outside and enjoy the country air. In the basement you'll also find a quite sitting area with a fireplace ( not for use) and small sofa; around the corner you'll find another room with a small tv, a radio and an elliptical; further around the corner you can make use of a full-size bathroom and washer and dryer. On the second floor enjoy 2 roomy bedrooms with walk-in closets; these bedrooms have windows to the east and west for a great source of natural light.
