The food was above average, same like every all-inclusive resort I’ve been to. I recommend it for a quiet stay although there was a kids aqua park too but we haven’t tried it. The snorkeling experience will not disappoint. the hotel also has three restaurants to chose from. We tried all of them and the food was excellent in all. Overall, great experience. The house reef teemed with vibrant marine life, and the beach was impeccably maintained. The diving team, especially Sultan, Ahmed, and Rafa, and the animation crew were outstanding in their dedication – they made our Christmas party a blast! Big applause to the hardworking waitstaff, cleaners, gardeners, and the bakery's lady for baking the most amazing Egyptian bread. While the location was convenient to the airport and Port Ghalib trips, it was quite distant from Hamata, and the surrounding area lacked development with no nearby supermarkets. However, this seems typical for most resorts in Marsa Alam. Overall, this was one of the best value-for-money hotels we've experienced in Egypt, offering an unforgettable resort holiday spiced up with some fantastic snorkeling and beach adventures. Will stay again here in the future."

The room was very clean and comfortable and bigger than I thought it would be. There was a small refrigerator with bottled water that was replenished daily, a couch, and a large closet in the room. The quality of the food here was better than the two other places I've stayed at in Marsa and the choices were different at every meal which was nice. The waiters were attentive, but I wish the drinking glasses were a little bigger. The beach was the best!! It had plenty of sunbeds or large beanbag chairs and shade. The setup was nice because you're not too close to your neighbor and it's very private. My daughter rode a camel on the beach and it was a reasonable price. The snorkeling was fantastic and so colorful! We saw so much variety here...spotted eagle rays, turtles, and so many different fish and coral. I'm glad I took a chance and stayed here, it was awesome!"

Suited for Singles as you will get easy connection with others." - "The Oasis is, as its name says, a dive resort, so diving is the front and center theme here. Guests are almost exclusively adults and german speaking (D/A/CH), and basically everyone shares the passion for diving, which results in a very friendly, almost intimate atmosphere. This is also helped by the layout and size of the resort: it resembles a small village where basically every room is its own little tastefully decorated house (maybe 40 or 50 or so in total); it all feels very atmospheric and pretty authentic to the region. If there's one small criticism, it's that it's starting to show its age and may need renovation here or there; and, in 2024, not having Wifi in the rooms is seriously outdated. There's no organized "animation" or parties whatsoever, on purpose, but of course you're free to chat and have drinks at the restaurant, pool, or bedouin tent bar, which are all very nice. Breakfast is ok, dinner is more varied and a good, tasty mix of egyptian and some western food; drink/snack prices are reasonable. Diving/snorkeling is very well organized (very professional yet friendly staff!), but with a somewhat confusing price structure, and may end up more expensive than you would expect (but yeah, it's not a cheap hobby anyway...) Overall, the Oasis is -- fortunately -- very different (light years away!) from the mass tourism of these huge hotel bunkers you also find in the region, and highly recommended."
