We lucked out with a newly finished room in the recently constructed part of the resort, offering tranquility and a beautiful sea-facing view. The house reef teemed with vibrant marine life, and the beach was impeccably maintained. The diving team, especially Sultan, Ahmed, and Rafa, and the animation crew were outstanding in their dedication – they made our Christmas party a blast! Big applause to the hardworking waitstaff, cleaners, gardeners, and the bakery's lady for baking the most amazing Egyptian bread. While the location was convenient to the airport and Port Ghalib trips, it was quite distant from Hamata, and the surrounding area lacked development with no nearby supermarkets. However, this seems typical for most resorts in Marsa Alam. Overall, this was one of the best value-for-money hotels we've experienced in Egypt, offering an unforgettable resort holiday spiced up with some fantastic snorkeling and beach adventures. Will stay again here in the future."

The staff were friendly, but not as attentive as nice as other hotels in the area. Ramon at the gift shop was very helpful and spoke perfect english so if you need anything go ask him. The spa guy was a little pushy. Completely different food and deserts every night. The animation guys were always smiling and energetic. The Mighty Mizzo was underwhelming. I would have rather watched him dance or do something with fire since the show was called “Fire” something. The second night's entertainment was better…a belly dancer, stick dancers, a duo of women dancers, and a traditional Egyptian twirling skirt dancer. The hotel needs to buy a few mats for the waterslides because they are too slow, but we had some laughs trying to scoot down them. The pools were cold and were fairly empty, but once you get used to the temperature they are very nice. Overall, a beautiful hotel. "

- "The lodge exceeded my expectations! The gardens have grown a lot since the pictures were taken and are colorful and beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable and bigger than I thought it would be. There was a small refrigerator with bottled water that was replenished daily, a couch, and a large closet in the room. The A/C worked great, we even got cold during the night. The quality of the food here was better than the two other places I've stayed at in Marsa and the choices were different at every meal which was nice. The waiters were attentive, but I wish the drinking glasses were a little bigger. The beach was the best!! It had plenty of sunbeds or large beanbag chairs and shade. The setup was nice because you're not too close to your neighbor and it's very private. My daughter rode a camel on the beach and it was a reasonable price. The snorkeling was fantastic and so colorful! We saw so much variety here...spotted eagle rays, turtles, and so many different fish and coral. I'm glad I took a chance and stayed here, it was awesome!"
