- "." - "pos.: good food; very friendly and competent team; neg.: too many beach loungers makes it impossible to enter the pool; buffet team did not motivate to care for food" - "Our 10 day stay started with the receptionist getting upset that we didn’t book our stay through an agent and the fact we didn’t have a voucher. Not a nice welcome, and we have never had an experience like this in any previous bookings at other hotels. The room was ok, but had to little storage for the 3 people the room was made for. Since we were only 2 it was ok. The beds are way harder than European standard and needed a topper badly. The rooms got cleaned every day, which was good, but there was sand everywhere because the balcony was not cleaned, and we had to ask for toilet paper twice. All this is minor irritation, but the saddest part for us was the food. We tried two ala carte restaurants, and there were very few options. The main restaurants had a lot of options, but most dishes was local diskes or arabic dishes, and the spices was not to our taste. Our only options was salads, pasta or fried food. This was very disappointing as we had a great food experience at another resort near by last year. As for the beach it is ok that we needed to take a shuttle bus (free) or walk 5 minutes, but the beach was not so nice. There are sharp rocks in the water, so both of us got cuts on our hands, legs and feet while swimming. There are also fish or shellfish that bites where you have cuts (not the fault of the hotel). So, my conclusion is; if you are from Skandinavia, not a huge fan of local dishes or swimming pools you should select a different hotel."

- "My daughter and I stayed here from 23/3 to 30/3 in a beautiful Seaview room. I can't give enough praise to the all of the Staff who made our holiday a brilliant experience. The front of house staff were so helpful and went out of their way to book taxis and suggest nice places to visit. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard and the variety of food every day was spectacular. Cellists and violinists played guests into the restaurant and the Waiting Staff were super efficient. Our room was spotless and remained so throughout our stay. We can recommend the treatments at the Hotel Spa. The Staff there were welcoming and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The Hamam experience was fantastic. We loved the range of languages spoken by the hotel staff and also the kindness from local people that we spoke to. We had never been to Turkey before but this experience is definitely one that we would love to repeat. "

- "Absolutely worth it " - "It was our first time in Turkey and first time in The Crystal Palace Spa. Expedia mi-sold (it was on their website) the holiday to us claiming it was a 24 hours check-in. It is not. Despite the fact that the hotel also couldn't find my booking, after i had travelled overnight to get there, the night manager said "we were his guests" until the situation was resolve (over 4 hours later). He allowed us to have breakfast and use the swimming pool. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly. The food is varied and abundant, even for fussy eaters like me and my 6 years old son. The entertainment team is unstoppable. The irish bar servers Becks, just in case you fancy some non-turkish beer. Some of the staff (bar/restaurant) don't speak very good english, but with smiles and good-will you'll manage to get anything you want. I will definitely return to Crystal Palace, but not via Expedia. "

A la carte booking for their Ottoman, Italian cuisine restaurants was almost impossible to get with 1 hour slot in the day to book for next day and we were disappointed with not getting our booking. Staff were generally friendly and smiling with an odd one not so friendly one bt you can imagine with so much workload on them to keep everything going. Beachside was fantastic. - "It is really good, the sea is really good , food is really good" - "We stayed a week at Melas Village and also used the Gym, Sauna/Steam and Spa facilities at Melas Resorts next door. Beautiful grounds of property. Double bedroom rooms are ample size and shower is very good. Buffet dining is generally very good. There are a la carte options available but we did not use those as we preferred the flexibility of the buffet. Beach clean and water was warm. Lots of loungers available anytime on beach however pool area can get very busy. The beach path is laced and very easy to walk/run east or west from the resort along the beach. - "Great stay clean hotel friendly staff" - "Very good" - "The staff were great, very polite and attentive. The location is great, being able to walk a few yards to the beach is fab. Having two pools was nice as one of them is away from the speakers although you can still hear the music / people talking on the microphone. The areas which i feel could be improved are, turn the volume down on the speakers, this disturbs people who want a quite relaxing time around the pools. Reduce the number of times the entertainment staff come round asking for people to join in the classes or play games, this in my mind is not required, it down grades the hotel. The variety in the food needs improving, the number of different options was very limited, the food is good in taste just having different options would be better."
