Not a nice welcome, and we have never had an experience like this in any previous bookings at other hotels. The room was ok, but had to little storage for the 3 people the room was made for. Since we were only 2 it was ok. The beds are way harder than European standard and needed a topper badly. The rooms got cleaned every day, which was good, but there was sand everywhere because the balcony was not cleaned, and we had to ask for toilet paper twice. All this is minor irritation, but the saddest part for us was the food. We tried two ala carte restaurants, and there were very few options. The main restaurants had a lot of options, but most dishes was local diskes or arabic dishes, and the spices was not to our taste. Our only options was salads, pasta or fried food. This was very disappointing as we had a great food experience at another resort near by last year. As for the beach it is ok that we needed to take a shuttle bus (free) or walk 5 minutes, but the beach was not so nice. There are sharp rocks in the water, so both of us got cuts on our hands, legs and feet while swimming. There are also fish or shellfish that bites where you have cuts (not the fault of the hotel). So, my conclusion is; if you are from Skandinavia, not a huge fan of local dishes or swimming pools you should select a different hotel."

The front of house staff were so helpful and went out of their way to book taxis and suggest nice places to visit. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard and the variety of food every day was spectacular. Cellists and violinists played guests into the restaurant and the Waiting Staff were super efficient. - "Absolutely worth it " - "It was our first time in Turkey and first time in The Crystal Palace Spa. Expedia mi-sold (it was on their website) the holiday to us claiming it was a 24 hours check-in. It is not. Despite the fact that the hotel also couldn't find my booking, after i had travelled overnight to get there, the night manager said "we were his guests" until the situation was resolve (over 4 hours later). He allowed us to have breakfast and use the swimming pool. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly. The food is varied and abundant, even for fussy eaters like me and my 6 years old son. The entertainment team is unstoppable. The irish bar servers Becks, just in case you fancy some non-turkish beer. Some of the staff (bar/restaurant) don't speak very good english, but with smiles and good-will you'll manage to get anything you want. I will definitely return to Crystal Palace, but not via Expedia. "

- "It is really good, the sea is really good , food is really good" - "We stayed a week at Melas Village and also used the Gym, Sauna/Steam and Spa facilities at Melas Resorts next door. Beautiful grounds of property. Double bedroom rooms are ample size and shower is very good. Buffet dining is generally very good. There are a la carte options available but we did not use those as we preferred the flexibility of the buffet. Beach clean and water was warm. Lots of loungers available anytime on beach however pool area can get very busy. The beach path is laced and very easy to walk/run east or west from the resort along the beach. Can access Side historic town from this path which is about 3km. We werenin a group of 19 with all ages and had a great time."

Our rooms in Melissa Garden Apart Hotel have 1 bedroom, a living room with a kitchen and a modern bathroom. It is only 400m away from the completely sandy side beach.
The hotel offers 2 large adult pools, 2 children's pools and a slide, surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers and parasols.
The bright apartments of Melissa Garden Apart Hotel have a private balcony with beautiful views. All apartments have a seating area and a fully equipped kitchenette.

The space
Each guest has its own private bathroom, 1 bedrooms and a living room with a kitchen. In addition, 2 adult pools, 2 children's pools and a water slide for adults are open to the common use of all guests in the large garden. Apart from these, children's playground and table tennis can be used by all our guests in our garden.

Guest access
Since the 2 pools are located at different angles, you can sunbathe by the poolside throughout the day.
Since there are 2 pool areas in different styles, you can have fun as a family in the area with a slide and a playground, or you can have a quiet rest in the second pool.

Other things to note
Rooms are cleaned for free 6 days a week. Linens are changed twice a week. (Valid for the peak season from April 15th to November 1st.)
If desired, you can make extra use of à la carte meals or drinks from our restaurant and pool bar. It is forbidden to bring food and drink from outside to the poolside and restaurant.
(From 1 November to 15 April, the pools and restaurant are closed.)
We are animal lovers, but the type and size of the pet must be specified prior to booking. Some pets may not be accepted or may be charged extra.

In addition to the free internet in the common areas, there is a high-speed private internet system in our rooms with an extra charge. (1 week 10€ & 1 month 30€)
