- "It is really nice resort. I’m really satisfied with food selection, beach is really nice and clean, sea is perfect. Worth every penny…" - "Really enjoyed our stay, the quality of the rooms and housekeeping etc was fantastic, rooms were spotless and turned down twice a day. The food was cooked well and a good range of choices, although often stayed on the safe side. The staff we all pleasant and friendly but with the exception of the spa staff it wasn't knock your socks off service. A slight hiccup with the WiFi when we arrive was dealt with very swiftly and they were always on hand to help with any issues or questions. When we visited it was extremely hot (high 30s-40) and so sitting outside in the evening wasn't always the most pleasant and there wasn't a great deal of choice for chilling out late at night. It feels very well suited for families and perhaps slightly less so for couples. Very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend the private pool option. "

Tastey delicius fresh food." - "Have just returned from a great weeks stay at the Leonardo Kolymbia hotel.. We arrived very late and there was some food left for us in the room. Great location with access to a pretty decent albeit stony beach / harbour. The rooms were very clean and spacious, we had a family room with a divider and sofabed that also had 2 bathrooms and a separate seating / table area and balcony. The staff are really what make this hotel, everyone we interacted with was super friendly and you can tell they love what they do, special thanks to Kiki and the reception team and Magda & George in the bar.. (the restaurant staff and the guy at the pool bar were also great but I didn't get any names) We stayed all inclusive and the food was good, its not Michelin star quality but does the job and the choice was good with lots always available (the kids spag bol was a personal fave) The snacks at the pool were welcome but not too much choice (burgers / chips / pizza / hotdogs) Drinks were good but using local spirits again it does the job and its great to try all the different cocktails. Location was perfect for us but we did have a car (free parking) and used it as a base to travel around the island, (Rhodes old town is a must) Kolymbia does have a pretty decent stip with shops / bars / restaurants all walkable if you want to just stay at the hotel. One thing to note, we went in May and the weather was good but the pool is unheated so was a bit chilly."

Overall, the hotel is set in a beautiful location, well kept and clean grounds. Our room was lovely, with a huge bed, and ample storage. The private pool was cleaned daily, and also had x2 loungers and a day bed. Small things that let it down were, coffee cups that didn't fit beneath the espresso machine, and the constant contact with reception to get our mini fridge re-stocked. It should have been done daily, but a few days we were missed. The beach and pool area was fab, with plenty of loungers available, no matter the time. Food was good, but it felt like a few simple things were missing. Like the offer of milk and a spoon with your morning coffee. A gap in time between breakfast ending and the food truck / pool bar opening, meant a small wait. Ideally overlapping times would be better. The food was great, especially the food truck (with our kids). The x3 private restaurants were good, again small things let it down. Not everything was in the all inclusive, so a bowl of rice was €12 ! All the staff were brilliant & friendly. A small thing that could be easily fixed. We asked for late check out at 5pm, but could only stay in our room till 1pm. This meant shower/changing by the pool before pick up."

- "Our second stay here, with children, and it has been excellent both times! This time we arrived 0530 in the morning, not expecting to get a room until check-in in the afternoon. But the night manager really made an effort and managed to find a room for us straight away, the best service ever! And it continued this way all through our stay, excellent service all over! The family rooms are perfect and clean, same with the surroundings and pools. Always clean and well kept. The food is excellent, different themes every night on the buffet. Make sure not to miss out on the two restaurants you can book, sooo good! The waterpark is great fun for all ages, one area for small children, one for age 6-12 and larger slides for older/grown-ups. The beach is mostly rocks, water crystal clear. The gym is nice, and there are many kinds of activities to attend. There are mostly families staying at this hotel, but there is still a relaxed and calm atmosphere. There children has their own stairs at the pool bar, ordering slush, popcorn and ice-cream. And they are high priority, not having to wait for long. In the evenings there are entertainment for children early on, and grown-ups later. We enjoyed everything! Growing up as the daughter of a pilot I have travelled all over the world staying at 5* hotels, and I can truly say this is one of the best hotels I have ever visited! Don’t wait, book right away! We stayed in May half term so was a real struggle to get sun loungers, if you didnt get up at 5.30 you weren't getting one around the main pool. None of the parasols had the bar attached to be able to put them up so would have to search for a stick to be able to use them. AL options are very limited for the size of the hotel, more often than not there would be no deserts available. Unfortunately while we were there, there was a stomach bug going round (nothing to do with the hotel) rooms were cleaned daily, the maids works really hard as do the entertainment team. On a whole not a bad holiday, we were a party of 9 and the kids absolutely loved it."
