One of a group of 3 exclusive detached villas in a peaceful location easily reached from the main Rhodes-Lindos road. The villa sits on a hillside with spectacular panoramic views including the famous Tsambika beach and monastery and a broad expanse of blue Aegean Sea.
It is a well appointed and impressive property, tastefully furnished and styled in modern design and with a swimming pool (heated on request - contact owner for details). The ground floor comprises an open plan living and dining area and a double bedroom with bathroom. The spiral marble staircase leads to the second floor where there is the large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms served by a family bathroom. All rooms open onto balconies, decking or patios with sea views. (Note - the villa is designed to sleep 8 but has a maximum occupancy of 9 - with an additional fold out bed and/or cot. The villa is set on a three quarter acre plot with spacious private gardens featuring olive, citrus fruit and conifer trees and a variety of shrubs and a small established pine wood. There is a large, private swimming pool with spacious tiled sun decks equipped with plenty of sunbeds, chairs and sun umbrellas. There is a BBQ and pagoda. Two large granite tables provide the option of fine dining either in the shade of the pagoda or the decking. There is parking space for up to 3 cars.
The location of the villa, midway along the popular east coast, could not be better to fully enjoy the island. The famous Tsambika beach is a short drive down the hill (or walk for the more adventurous); this is widely regarded as the best on the island with a kilometre of golden sand fully equipped with beach facilities and water sports. This is overlooked by the spectacular and historic hilltop Tsambika monastery. There are numerous local tavernas. The Panorama Restaurant, with its spectacular views of Tsambika beach and monastery, is only 10 minutes walk away. Rhodes Town is 25 minutes drive with its famous medieval walled old town and picturesque harbour. The beautiful village of Lindos is 20 minutes drive in the opposite direction. The local town of Archangelos is 5 minutes drive and offers a full range of shops and facilities. The airport is 30 minutes drive. Other picturesque beach resorts within easy reach include Haraki, Stegna and Kolymbia. There is easy access to the beautiful central mountain region with its tiny villages clinging to the hillsides. An 18 hole golf course is 10 minutes away.
A car is considered essential to fully enjoy a holiday at the villa.
We are proud to offer the villa on a self catering basis for others to enjoy for parts of the year when we are not enjoying it ourselves. It is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends.
We have installed our own solar system (we are able to do this as the grounds are very extensive) and this generates sufficient electricity to enable us to be net exporters to the grid, so helping to protect the environment.

There are good local shops and conveniences & the lovely sandy Tsambika beach - all in a short drive, and many excellent restaurants within a 15 min drive. Car rental is essential, but we had a quad bike as well and travelled 494km during our 7-day hire, as well as further journeys in the car, so we feel we experienced a lot of the island. We visited Lindos/Acropolis and Rhodes – twice, and toured virtually the entire island, both on the coastal roads from Rhodes, down to Lindos, Prassonisi and up to Kritinia Castle and Ancient Kameiros, as well as cross country, through/around the mountain ranges, which we loved, including several amazing lunches, plus a sunset visit to Monolithos Castle – which was absolutely spectacular! However, the real highlight is waking up each morning and going outside into such a beautiful environment with the expansive views of the coast & surrounding area and the lovely large pool for refreshment. It is truly a unique, relaxing, and energising place to be. Patricia, the villa owner/host was extremely helpful and responsive; from our initial enquiry & queries, prior to our arrival - with lots of useful information, and during our stay, so we felt well supported throughout & would not hesitate to recommend the villa and hope to return soon - to visit the areas we didn’t see during our wonderful 2 week holiday."

This lovely modern villa is one of only eight in an exclusive development; it is set in a peaceful location with spectacular unending views overlooking the Psalidi mountains and olive groves. It is only a short drive to several of the wonderful beaches on the East side of the island.

The property consists of an open plan ground floor lounge area with a large comfortable sofa to relax on a dining table and chairs, a flat screen satelite TV, DVD player, Ipod docking station and free WiFi. The newly built (2025) kitchen is equipped with a full range of modern appliances which includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker with oven and grill, a coffee machine and a microwave.

The ground floor also has an open fireplace and a downstairs toilet/shower room. A marble staircase leads to the first floor, which includes a family sized bathroom with bath and shower. The master bedroom contains a double bed, fitted wardrobes with a safe inside one of them. There is also a large balcony with a table and chairs to enable you to relax and enjoy the stunning views - a perfect spot in the evenings to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down. The second bedroom has twin beds and a balcony also with table and chairs, here you can enjoy your coffee in the mornings and watch the sunrise.

Each bedroom has fully fitted wardrobes. The villa has air conditioning units in each main room (this is charged extra).

The newly refurbished garden features a private swimming pool with four comfortable sun loungers, sun umbrellas and a traditional stone BBQ area with a large granite dining table and chairs. The garden also features outside lighting, which gives allows you to enjoy an evening barbeque in style. We have made it even more private with an additional entrance gate and wall. Here you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the countryside into the olive groves and Psalidi mountains.

Our villa is constantly and lovingly updated to ensure that our guests have the most comfortable experience.

Safety: Although children are welcome to use the pool, as with all pools supervision is required at all times.

We accept no liability during your stay at the villa. Guests must provide their own holiday and travel insurance. Towels are provided for use in the villa only. Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels.

Location: The villa is located 2 km outside the traditional and friendly town of Kalythies. Full directions are provided upon confirmation of rental. The local beaches are only a few minutes drive away.

*** As of December 05, 2025, the Greek government have replaced the old “bed tax” with a new tax that is applied to all stays in short-term rental accommodation in Greece. The Climate Resilience Levy is a response to the devastating forest fires and floods that Greece has experienced in recent years, with the government hoping to generate extra funding that will go towards financing reconstruction, supporting victims, and increasing the country’s defences against future natural disasters.

The owners of all short-term rental accommodation are legally obliged to collect the Climate Resilience Levy as a separate tax for all overnight stays (per villa) as follows:

Whilst we understand the potential budget concerns of our guests, this tax/levy is beyond our control and we encourage our guests to see this as a way of contributing to the protection of the planet and the beautiful area where they are holidaying.

Cleaning, Linen and Towels: The villa is cleaned and completely prepared for your arrival. Cleanind is once a week in order to preserve your privacy, bed sheets and towels are changed. Cleaning can be more often if you wish. Linen, towels for the bath and the pool are provided, but not beach towels. Every visit for cleaning, change of linen and towels is upon arrangement and lasts ca. 3 hours. The large pool (8.5m x 4m) runs automatically and is maintained once a week. The sparkling clean pool water is the result of the overflow system, the ionization unit and the professional filter systems.

- "I booked Villa Kallisto to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and as part of a wider family holiday. We've booked Villas before but the service offered by the owner Allison is second to none. Very quick responses, nothing too much trouble, great advice and always willing to help. Just prior to our arrival the fires broke out on Rhodes and flights were cancelled causing a lot of uncertainty. We were kept fully updated by Allison via email and she made contact by phone to provide further reassurance and regular updates. It really was a great service. Upon booking we received an excellent information booklet which was thorough and invaluable with recommendations from transport, food deliveries prior to our arrival; great restaurants to supermarkets to sights and we used this throughout the holiday. We booked numerous fantastic meals at Tambakio;Broccolino; Philosophia; Mythos; and lunch at Lee Beach. The villa itself is superb.....close enough to Lindos and Pefkos to get there very easily but set in a quiet area which is so peaceful and relaxing. The Villa has everything you need; a full kitchen; very clean; great views; and plenty of room for the six of us. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space, very clean and modern with a large pool to keep kids (and adults) entertained. The Olive yard combines the traditional characteristics of a Greek house but also the luxury facilities of the cosmopolitical way of life. The 1800 square meters estate that circles the house is constituted from trees like the ancient and symbolic olive trees and a variety of fruits trees, herbs and grapes that produced fresh and without chemicals wrists. There is also a chicken coop in the land where you can collect fresh eggs for your mornings. The “Olive yard” is located not too far from the highway but is isolated from the noise in a perfectly quite spot. In Rhodes Island a car rental is needed if someone wants to unlock all the mystery of the town of knights. Olive yard is near to all the famous spots like the caves beach “Trayanou-Afandou”, Tsampika beach and Faliraki area and Kalithea all these places are 15 driving. The house is fully occupied with all the modern facilities; it is consisted from two bedrooms and two bathrooms but also the living rooms’ relaxing sofa-beds that can host our guests. We will be happy to accommodate you at our house where you can spend relaxing time at the pool while hearing the relaxing sounds of leaf.

Villa Alexander is one of only 4 beautifully designed modern villas that make up the small, exclusive development of Gennadi Hills, located on the edge of the traditional, year round village of Gennadi on the South East coast. Ideally situated in peaceful surroundings of olive groves and open countryside yet just a few minutes stroll to the village where there is a good range of facilities including supermarkets, a bakery, green-grocery, ATM, motor cycle hire and a number of bars and tavernas. The beautiful village shops filled with local produce and as fresh as if you picked it from the fields yourself. Not going to lie you won’t find any of the large supermarkets in Gennadi, but there is a bakers, fruit and veg shop and a shop that sells everything else. It has a butchers and deli so you won’t be going hungry any time soon. There are plenty of restaurants if you want to dine out and probably a different one for every day of your stay. When you get to the villa, you are greeted with a beautiful pool that invites you to jump straight in. The garden area is wonderful and filled with sun beds do you can catch the sun or shade all day. The villa itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need or require. I would suggest using the melamine crockery if you are eating or drinking outside. Just so you don’t have any breakages by the pool. The 2 bedrooms are both ensuite and roomy so you don’t feel hemmed in. There is even another bathroom on the lower floor. It truly is a home from home. Spacious, very well equipped and a beautiful place to spend your vacation. The villa has sea views on all levels and it is breathtaking. Villa Galini is simply outstanding. It is more like a 5 star boutique hotel. The location is wonderful with a 2 min walk onto the beach, yet tucked away and elevated so wonderfully quiet and peaceful with just outstanding views across the bay. The quality of everything is top notch and fully equipped for your comfort. The outdoor space is the best we have ever stayed in with outdoor lounge and dining under the canopy and then the fabulous pool. You really feel like a film star in Beverly Hills !!
Russ and team cannot do enough for you and the local car hire and transfers were also amazing. It has been so lovely to escape the current COVID situation and relax somewhere safe and friendly. At the end of the day holidays are precious times and you get what you pay for. I can’t recommend enough - thanks Russ you are outstanding at this.

The ground floor where the cosy sitting room, with large sofa invites you to take a seat and gaze upon the unobstructed sea view, provided by the surrounding glass panels, while the modern fireplace adds a homely touch.
The open plan area also included a dining area for 6 guests and offers direct access to the pool terrace.

Last but not least a bathroom has been thoughtfully furnished with handrail next to the WC, and a wooden seat on the wall in the shower area.
Mezzanine
On the mezzanine lie the remaining two bedrooms, one of which offer beautiful views to the sea and blue horizon, while the last one opens up to the country side. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, the master bedroom has access to a balcony equipped with patio furniture.
All three bedrooms have boudoirs, black-out curtains, air-conditioning. The master bedroom has a Super King Size bed (1.80X2.00), the other two bedrooms the beds could be set up either as a Super King Size Bed (1.80X2.00) or as two single beds (0.90X2.00).

If you want to venture further afield the island has many historical sites and beautiful scenery. The old city of Rhodes is fascinating.

Lindos is a perfect Summer Holiday destination but also great for a long winter break away from the northern climate. For those who want to work from home wanting some winter sun, there is good internet and heating for the chilly winter evenings. N.B. Please note that in 2024 the Greek Government introduced a Climate Resilience Tax which for 2025 is €15 per night for Villa Katerina. This tax is in addition to what you have been quoted here and is payable on arrival. I will work with VRBO as to see how best to include it in your initial quote so hopefully this will just be a temporary situation.

Introduction

Villa for six with large pool, superb sea views, cooling breezes, peaceful lawned gardens, located close to beach and amenities.
Villa Kipseli is a spacious well-equipped family home and is available to rent for part of the year. Built about eighteen years ago, it sits on the airy ridge above Pefkos village, overlooking the bay and set in peaceful lawned gardens. The pool is larger than usual for this size of villa; and is positioned away from neighbouring properties to give a bit of privacy. It is a short walk down from the villa to the local supermarket, bakery and beaches. The lively resort of Lindos is just a couple of miles away.

The space
Set in a generous lawned garden with a 12x5 metre pool, the villa has three levels. On the ground floor are the lounge, kitchen/dining room, master bedroom and larger bathroom. Patio doors open onto the front terrace and sitting areas. The top floor is comprised of two double bedrooms each with a terrace/roof garden and there is a second bathroom. Downstairs is a large laundry room. Throughout there are AC systems, with several acting as inverters to make Kipseli a comfortable year-round destination. Smoke detectors on all levels. Decent book collection, nice art work on the walls.

Ground floor
The front door and large shuttered patio doors open onto the front terrace and our main shaded sitting place, looking out across the bay. Centre piece of the largely open plan ground floor is the generously equipped family kitchen. The dining table is set up for six, but seats 10 at a push. Equipment includes: large fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, fire blanket and extinguisher.
An archway leads to the spacious lounge with two sofas and a modern 55 inch TV with VCR and Wii systems. Teamed up with the internet, one can stream any channel. There is also a sound system and a range of games.
The other side of the kitchen leads through into the master bedroom suite, with conventional double bed. The bedroom patio windows open onto the front terrace. Optional mosquito net. A short corridor leads back to the master bathroom with two sinks, bath/shower and WC, designed as a wet room.

First floor
Two good sized bedrooms with shuttered patio doors, each opening onto their own private roof garden terrace. The beds on this floor are traditional Lindian ‘banca’ style: a thick comfy mattress on top of a wooden platform base used also for storage. Optional mosquito nets are provided for those who like them. The second bathroom is also a wet room with sink, WC and shower.

Rear basement
There is a generous sized laundry room containing washing machine, drying rack and ironing facilities downstairs in the rear basement. A small basement owner’s apartment will remain unoccupied during your stay.

Guest Access
Exclusive use of main house, garden and pool. The small basement owner’s apartment will be locked and unoccupied.

Interaction with Guests
We do a basic welcome pack: bread, butter, wine, milk, orange juice etc.
You will however find the villa well stocked - a home and not a stripped down rental place.
You can checkin 24 hours. Our local agent is available for any issues that may arise. Both agent and owner are always at the end of a phone.
Pool and garden maintenance people call every few days.

The Neighbourhood

The location
Typically for Pefkos (Pefkoi meaning pine trees in greek) the setting is mountainous with olive groves and pine trees. Pefkos was known for its cooling breezes and better beaches, and was always where wealthy Rhodians built their second homes. Some construction still occurs occasionally in our area but tends to stop for the Summer season.

Pefkos is now a thriving family resort with services for all tastes and budgets, but also a few outstandingly good eating places. It is extremely well organised: great taxi system, frequent buses, vigilant cleanliness, daily bin collection, humane care for the local cat population – all things which really matter to British tourists. Glamorous, elegant (hotter and costlier) Lindos is only a couple of miles away.

Getting Around
Bus and taxi services are good. A taxi from Pefkos centre or Lindos square will zoom you back to the villa in five minutes. Taxis won't always agree to drive up our track so instead ask to be dropped off at Hotel Ziakis, just down the hill. Hire cars can be parked inside our gates.
There is plenty to see and do on Rhodes at all times of year, or you may just wish to relax on the beach or by the pool.

Keybox for 24 hour checkin is just by the front door. Please read the owner's welcome leaflet for advice on making the best of the place. Tap water is not recommended to drink. Greek loos have their own habits and needs, see the owner's welcome leaflet. See also our info on water shortages which occur throughout the Dodecanese. We have better water storage than most villas (14,500L) but still get affected by local area shortages sometimes; and we provide advice on working with/managing water cuts.

It's a quiet neighbourhood, so not suitable as a party house. Please consider our neighbours and avoid noise after 10:30pm.

Villa Angelina is located on the south-east part of Rhodes island (Lindos & Pefkos area). The villa is directly in front of "Lothiarika" beach, which is an excellent spot for swimming. Also, you can find almost everything you need (taverns, bars, super markets, etc.) by walking distance (3-5 min walk).
This luxurious villa comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday on this picturesque Greek island. Well kept gardens surround the villa and include, Barbecue area and facilities, gazebo (sheltered area) for relaxation, both adjoined to a private swimming pool with sunbeds. The villa consists of the 3 bedroom main villa and the 1 bedroom attached studio (see floor plan in the last photo). The studio is not given indepentedly.
