" - "Some of the staffs attitudes need adjusting look down on you if British for some reason. Same with ordering taxis over hour wait. The transfer that the hotel sells as part of the package is a local taxi firm, they mistook our flight home for the wrong date, then when the car finally turned up they had put us down as a family of two not four. The taxi driver somehow made our cases fit but was a bit ticked off as you can imagine. Air con in the room was about as useful as a chocolate fireplace, it was better to have it on than off but I think it needs a service. Ants are a real problem and for a £1000 per head I do not think I should have to be putting towels under the front door to stop them getting in and to settle my child. Food is okay I guess could not really complain, you will not go hungry. The rooms you book are sometimes up steep hills my Dad has copd so not the best location given his lung disease. There is a hotel shuttle service. So no major issue I just wish I had been notified. Entertainment is patchy, even if there is no entertainment put some background music on or it’s awkward. You can walk to the other hotels linked with Maris suites, one is kid Oriented so good for my little one and the other (Roof top bar) kids are allowed but it’s more for adults and although pricey a good environment, apart from some of the staff seem annoyed to be working there or a Bit snotty. Overall we enjoyed our holiday, it’s what you make of it."

- "We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow which was spacious and clean. However as we were on the ground floor we had no view which was a shame. The bedrooms were air conditioned but the living room was not which meant we did not really use it. The air conditioning controls for the bedrooms were rather complicated and difficult to find the setting we needed. The hotel grounds were beautiful with lots of lovely plants and flowers and the main hotel building was lovely. The beach was convenient (although across a road which could be tricky with younger children) but the sand was very dirty and gritty. We didn't mind the stones and boulders as we wore water shoes but the litter including cigarette butts was unpleasant. There was a lot of smoking around the hotel. We didn't sit around the hotel in the evenings after dinner because the seating area outside was quite cramped and when we tried it we were engulfed in smoke. The pool was lovely. Refreshing but not too cold but at times the music was far too loud to the point where I couldn't even hear what I was trying to listen to through my headphones. The animation team were great though and really friendly. The staff in the dining room and at reception were always lovely but some of the older bar staff were the opposite. Rude and off hand which was a shame. Overall though a great holiday and the kids loved it!"

- "The resort is a little remote if you want to get out and about, but there's really no need to as the facilities are excellent. The hotel is VERY family friendly and although I congratulated myself on avoiding half-term, it was a bit like being at a RugRats convention! Couples looking for a romantic break might want to look elsewhere, but families will be right at home.The staff are wonderful - attentive and friendly at all times. The food is excellent, in particular the Aegean buffet which serves an enormous variety of well prepared and beautifully presented food. There are many dining options throughout the day. The rooms are spacious and well furnished although the amount of patio/balcony space varies between rooms of the same type/price. I had a jacuzzi room and the tub was top quality and regularly maintained. It is possible to walk the length of the beach to Kefalos if you're feeling energetic. The activitiy pool area is kiddie heaven, surrounded by inflatables and pushchairs and humming to constant background disco music, but there are two much quieter pool areas to escape to and the adults take over in the afternoon with water volleyball & polo. A variety of watersports are offered off the beach. The evening entertainment of various themed singing and dancing shows brought out my sons' inner Simon Cowell, but oddly enough, they wouldn't miss a show! My only grumble is the long trouser rule for men in the buffet at night."

We travelled with a 2 year old child and his grandparents but there was a good mix of ages and nationalities. Food excellent and it was nice that there was 3 restaurants to choose from however the food was pretty much the same in each. During the day you can help yourself to drinks including red/white wine and lager which in 1 area is a help yourself tap. I was initally concerned about the quality of the local 'inclusive' drinks from past all inclusive experiences but the white and red wine was really nice. This is a large hotel complex but the staff at the hotel are really friendly, will stop and say hello and always seems to remember who you are. The 1 slight negative for us was, as we have a 2 year old child it would have been nice to have a play area for his age group, there is a small play area for older children and the hotel run kids club starts from 4 years plus.We were in the main complex which has a kids pool area but we would often go to the satalite buildings kids pool which was about a 5 minute walk away which I think is better for toddlers as it had a paddling pool which the main hotel does not. The satalite building also had a piano bar which made a nice relaxing evening. We would definately go back to this hotel in the future."
