- "Everything was outstanding really. Not much to complain about. The food was excellent. It’s worth booking the restaurants ahead of time as they’re all so good. Just a note - it’s a pebble beach, not a sand beach so if that’s important, then worth bearing in mind" - "We have just returned from an amazing holiday at the Blue Domes. We were a large group of 21 and had a wonderful stay. Amongst the many positives to highlight were the volume of a la carte choices. 6 evening a la carte restaurants, each with it’s own identity and one breakfast a la carte where our server was determined that we enjoyed the experience. The sports/ leisure team were exceptional and hosted a variety of various types of activity that the bulk of our group took advantage of from HIIT, Pilates, stretching, aqua aerobics and beach volleyball. The tennis courts were good and the sea was a lovely temperature. The entertainment each night was a real bonus, each of the various acts were very good and managed to get us on our feet dancing, although the highlight was the beach party and fireworks. The spa was also very good, as were the massage treatments. We did have a slight mistake with our rooms which got resolved. Overall we had a great holiday and would highly recommend, the staff were wonderful and the work ethic they have is exceptional. "

The breakfast was amazing, everything you can think was available (which was included in our deal). The lunch menu was also great with lots of options. The menu changed again for dinner with more gourmet options available (mainly small plates), it would have been great to have a few additional options on there, it felt a little limited if you were to eat there every night. Other very small criticism was that we didn’t find the bed/ pillows as comfortable as some similar resorts we stayed at. - "I took my mom out on a lovely summer holiday to Astir and we’d love to be back someday! The rooms were lovely, and so were the pools, the sea water was warm which is quite a change for us. The lunch staff knew our order by heart, and everyone we spoke to provided excellent service, from reception, to the bar staff and buffet waiters, everyone was exceptionally welcoming. The food was pretty good, there’s options for everyone. We did expect there to be more fish on a regular basis, but when they did it was amazing. You’re catered for all meals if you have the all inclusive package which I’d recommend. We were pleasantly surprised with the entertainment, which we didn’t know we’d encounter! The entertainment team kept us going all day, from the water gymnastics class all the way to their shows after dinner, what a treat! They were all super lovely and made the time to speak to everyone they walked past throughout the day. The only not so positive element was the amount of children in general. I purposefully picked a hotel that didn’t seem to cater to babies and children that much but that didn’t seem to stop it being packed with families with young kids, specially around the pool entrances.
