The Astir is a beautifully appointed hotel nicely situated on the outskirts of town but only a 15 minute walk away from the hub of town life and two minutes from the town beach . Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean with a lovely balcony with a view overlooking the mountains and it was a delight to sit there upon returning from Naxos town away from the light pollution of the town and gaze up at the stars with a nice glass of chilled white. Maid service was everyday and thorough. The silky smooth cotton bed sheets are by luxury brand, Guy La Roche which were changed every other day. We found the air conditioning to be adequate (and it was hugely hot when we were in Naxos). The bathroom we had had a small size bath with shower over. The shower was strong with constant hot water. The room also has a little mini fridge which is alright for keeping drinks cool. The crystal clear pool area is a joy to behold The bathroom we had had a small size bath with shower over. - "We spent 7 day at Finikas Beach Hotel and had a wonderful stay there. The location directly at the beach with private loungers and parasols was great. We never used the pool just because we preferred the sea and beach. The room was really nice and clean. All staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a small menu but the food was delicious which we had one time at the dinner. Breakfast is served until 11 which we enjoyed and there is quite a selection but every day the same. We had a car during our stay which was helpful to get around and also explore the island. So, we cannot judge how good the hotel can be accessed with the public transportation/buses. - "Hotel was beautiful, and in a great location. The only two things that weren't ideal were that: 1) Even as a guest of the hotel, you still have to pay for one of the beach loungers. As a guest, there is a 50% discount on those chairs, but they're not fully included within the price of the hotel stay, which wasn't clear in the listing when I booked. 2) At the time of my stay (June 2024), there was a sewage odor in the air at the hotel that didn't exist on the beach or any of the great restaurants that were a 5-15 minute walk away, so it seemed concentrated to the hotel's premises. Could have been a temporary plumbing issue or something that's been since resolved, but it wasn't that pleasant during my stay."

Our room was clean, well equipped, and had a balcony overlooking the pool. This hotel is well situated to walk to the beach (2 mins) where there are numerous options for beach clubs and chairs. You're also 5-10 mins walk to all of the great shops and restaurants in Naxos Town. There is a nice, large buffet breakfast, and the staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful (can book taxis, etc). My only small complaints are that the wifi is awful - inconsistent and slow - and the "Gym" is very old with extremely no frills 70s-era equipment. But both of these were of minimal issue since we were out most of the day on the beach or in the amazing restaurants! This hotel has everything you'd need to have a great base as you explore Naxos!"

Secret Oasis belongs to the first category, so the nightly charges are 0.50 cents from November to March and €2.00 from April to October.This tax must be paid to the accommodation on the day of your arrival.It is a tax that goes to the Greek state and is not included in your nightly rate.
