It has direct beach access to a beautiful bay where you can rent boats and do water activities like kayaking and paddle boarding I believe. There wasn't many staff to begin with considering the season just started for guest a couple of days before. As it was getting busier more staff were seen and became available to come around to ask if you want a drink etc as before we had too chase them or go to the bar. The whole resort was serene. The spa was very small part of the resort more like a hut and it was a let down, for me it was very pricey and there was a cost to use their hot tub only. The beach is the best area to relax compared to the infinity pool. The lagoon was relaxing which was at the front of the resort. The app is easy to use and reserve a’la carte restaurant. Not all restaurants were open I guessed this was due to it being the start of season. "

- "Lovely hotel with excellent facilities on the sea front. 10 minutes walk along the seafront to a collection of bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk into town where there are a few restaurants, shops and bars. The only disappointing part was we could never seem to get a pot of tea at breakfast. We always had to ask several times and if and when it did come it was always Luke warm. Apart from that our stay was excellent and we would return again."

- "The resort was absolutely perfect for our kids - they were obsessed with the pools, playground was great (when it was cool enough to use), ac was strong when we needed to retreat from the heatwave that happened during our stay. I didn’t realise how big the place was until we went to the dining hall but it is all spaced out well that when you’re in your apartment you don’t feel like you’re in a massive complex. - "This hotel is fabulous! The service was among the best I have experienced in 12 years of traveling in Europe. We arrived at 9am due to a very early flight from Germany. We had a very tired 7 year old and were not much better ourselves. We didn’t expect to be able to check in for many hours, but the host Nico gave us welcome drinks and offered the breakfast buffet to us as well. We changed and hung out on the beach, and they let us check in 4 hours early. The rest of our stay was just as wonderful. All staff were so kind and accommodating. Service at the restaurant was fabulous as well. We had a bottle of sparkling wine in our room, as well as candy and local liquor. The hotel is incredibly clean, close walking distance to great restaurants (try Anna’s! it is great!), and close to the beach. Hotel is very inexpensive, especially given the facility, location, and service. We would love to visit again."

It was very spacious with two double bedrooms, a huge sitting-room, a very large bathroom and an additional, separate toilet and included our very own pool. We even had our own 'pets' - swallows nesting in the ceiling lights on the patio. Everybody at Cavomarina Beach was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help, especially Ines on Reception who was an absolute star and whose command of the English language was amazing. We originally booked just bed and breakfast, but were informed that for an additional 30 Euros per person we could upgrade to all-inclusive, which seemed like a very good deal and so it was. There was a good variety of dishes at each meal time, as well as snacks and, of course, drinks, in between. Every evening there was a different culinary theme, e.g. Corfu, Italian, Spanish, Asian, Greek etc. and there was always live entertainment. As the name suggests, Caromarina Beach has its own private sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds and even a few four-poster sunbeds, so there was really no need to bring out our 'inner German' and reserve them with beach towels first thing, although this obviously didn't deter some people! There was also a nice infinity pool and several of the rooms in the main hotel seemed to have access to additional pools. The Olive Spa was also a huge bonus."
