This was our first time at Paolo's House and our teenaged boys were so happy to have their own rooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms for the boys were spacious and all of the bedrooms had a fantastic view. The kitchen was fully equipped for the few meals we cooked and we didn't need any of the extras we brought with us. We loved the downstairs patio with full furniture and resident pet cat who we loved. We'd sit on the patio in the evening after dinner out and numerous cats would come to be petted and photographed. So Tiris boat hire were sat just outside and we had a wonderful day out with one of their 40HP boats. As always Costas from Kaparelli's, Nikos from Galini Taverna and Maria from Wave Bar made us feel like old friends and the food and service were second to none. We tried some new adventures - the costal path to Avlaki was a little treacherous for us oldies but the kids were fine. The road walk to Avlaki was quite easy and only took 45 minutes - we stopped for a couple of beers at Taverna Cavo-Barbaro where we always received a happy welcome. The walk down to Kerasia is well worth doing - pretty flowers and a lovely beach, good for swimming from and a taverna for refreshments. We are looking forward to returning next year."

The kitchen is nicely equipped, enough to prepare any variety of meals. The two bedrooms are comfortable and fitted with air-conditioning. The main double bedroom has got a fitted wardrobe and the second bedroom has two twins.

- "We spent a wonderful relaxing week here in early June. The apartment overlooks the beach, which is an absolute gem - small, quiet, clear blue water. We spent most of our week in the sea, eating at one or other of the two excellent tavernas and just completely unwinding. It's a quiet spot, and if like us you opt not to rent a car, accessing shops is the only difficulty. There is a small supermarket, a bakery and vegetable shop a couple of kilometres away, but it's a difficult walk, with a very steep hill and a narrow, busy road to navigate. We did that a couple of times before we realised there's a supermarket with a very easy online shopping website (eJoy market) that you can order from and they will deliver. There was an info card about it in the apartment that we hadn't noticed! That is the way to go if you don't have a car. We got a taxi to Kassiopi one day (taxis are tricky to get - they seem to be in short supply), and rented a boat from Kaminaki boats another day to explore the coastline. All in all, it was a wonderful family holiday in an absolutely stunning place. The apartment had everything we needed, and the host was very quick to respond to any query we had. We couldn't fault it in any way - we just wished we were staying for a second week."
