- "Beautiful hotel, staff so friendly, room was perfect with comfortable bed, mini fridge, kettle, TV and nice shower. Breakfast was delightful and plenty of choice which was replenished constantly. Food served all day and not over priced. Beach was mini pebbles rather than sand and only 1 min away over the road and always managed to get a lounger. The hotel is situated just outside Kos town so is nice and quiet but a beautiful 10 min walk along the sea front to the busy shops and bar which had a brilliant atmosphere. We felt really looked after without being hassled, our only regret is not visiting the roof bar until our last evening.. it is stunning! Will most definitely be back. "

Greco-Roman remains can be found all over the town and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Cycles, scooters and quad bikes can be hired from several places. If you want to visit other places there are local buses which are cheap. The Fantasia apartments are centrally located in the town. It took me three minutes to walk down to the seafront and the mediaeval castle and five minutes to get to the town centre. The beach on the other side of the harbour with its restaurants and beach bars takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to. Jackson's Beach Bar is a good one if you like Sport on the TV, good music and old motorcycles on display inside the bar. 3 euros for a large beer and free sunbeds outside on the beach."

In 1985, the Belgian Christina and her Greek husband bought an old house in the quiet, leafy village of Lagoudi, at the foot of Mount Dikeos on Kos. The breathtaking view was the reason. Here she also opened her gallery in the garden and put her pictures and icons under. The bistro cafe came shortly after and everything was immediately discovered by well-known travel guides, like Dummont and Marco Polo. Tourists came and would like to spend the night, so the apartments were created.

One of the three apartments of, "Orea Ellas" is the here presented Apollon (greek. God of light and protector of the arts). It is a studio, located on the first floor, has a double bed, and two sofa beds. A small but well-equipped kitchen, a small bathroom with shower and a cozy, private terrace with views to the Turkish mainland belong to the object.
Down the stairs leads to the winding garden. It offers further seating, such as the BBQ area, a terrace with sun loungers and separate corners for reading, shared by the three apartments. Air conditioning does not have the studio, since it is not necessary. It is a stone building and is located at 300 meters altitude. There are hardly any mosquitoes here.

- "This apartment has cool decor and also feels cool in the heat of the day! We stayed in August and the apartment suited us perfectly. It is literally 3 minutes to the seafront and you can walk to Kos town easily. We really liked the seafront at this end of Kos town which has lots of eateries and a bakery along the walk to Kos town. There are grocery supermarket/shops very close by. You can swim at the seafront. We loved to watch all the boat action as the apartment is near the marina. There is great air con in the main area and in both bedrooms, it is even cool without it on. The place is very clean. The shower is good, waterfall shower head plus hand held, water hot at all times. Beds comfy. Sofa big and comfy. Kitchen fully equipped, water bottles were already in the fridge plus wine and goodies. Large lounge area. Ladies the hairdryer provided is good! Or a sharp intake of breathe followed by a deeply gratitude filled smile, that you are lucky enough to stay in this Grecian gem of a place. Every room has a breathtaking view of the sea. It’s new, clean and very well done. Tasteful decor, sympathetic to the surroundings. Everything you need within the apartment and in walking distance. Two fabulous restaurants Camel and Jenny’s. Both fine dining and excellent food with sea views and amazing seafood. A beach 10 mins walk down a steep winding path. You need to be fairly fit to get back up the road. Well worth it with main beach with umbrellas and secluded coves around the corner with turquoise sea to swim in. For the more active of you, water sports at Paradise beach only ten mins away. We were there for my fiftieth and they made homemade bday ice cream cake, pie and biscuits with a traditional Greek dish that was delicious. Balloons, candles and champagne. The best welcome, the most beautiful place to unwind and relax. You don’t need a car but worth hiring one. It’s magical and memories that will stay with us as a family for a very long time.
