- "If you're looking for a place to stay to explore Ocean Shores, this is the perfect location! The house is right next to the beach, just a short walk or drive and you are right in the water! We loved watching the ocean views from the patio, plus the hot tub was a nice relief after a long day. Plus it was fun to drive on the beach from downtown, all the way right up to the house! The house itself is huge, clean and well maintained, and there is everything you could possibly need and more to cook or do laundry. The host, Roy, was very communicative and friendly, making sure we got into the house okay and had everhthing we needed. We felt like if we had any issues, he would've been right there to help! This is a great house, i wish we could've had another day or two to try clamming with the provided equipment, or maybe take a couple of those kites out! Overall, we would love to come back!"

Sursum Corda is designed for small groups to enjoy the beauty of the Washington coast in simple, comfortable accommodations. The facility includes a large patio and outdoor fire pit, a 30ft. yurt for prayer and meditation and walking trails through old growth forest.

You can drive onto the beach 2 miles south at Ocean City or take a short walk through the dunes to Copalis Beach. Copalis Beach is the razor clam capital of the world and there is great fishing nearby as well. We are located just north of Ocean Shores, WA, which offers shopping, entertainment and the Quinault Beach Casino.
We have a strict NO pet policy in the building. Animals are welcome on the property, but not in the building.

- "That's what my teenager said when she saw all the bedrooms, little nooks to get away, and room to spread out. We also loved the the woodland trail, the beach close by, (we would recommend driving, especially with young or senior members of a party), a super-stocked kitchen, and the two fire pits. The one on the patio was perfect for those who wanted to chat around a fire at an easy distance, and the one on the back lawn was perfect for feeling like you were camping in the woods, but still had a bed to climb into at night. Even roasting sticks were provided. The teenagers got some gaming time in and the 4 and under crowd loved the toy room and running the ramp and hall back and forth. Everything was super easy, Carol was wonderful to work with and we absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect place for us!"

Sit in the spacious living room by the gas fired stove and enjoy the ocean waves while watching TV, or on a nice day enjoy the view from the deck. You can cook any meal in the large fully-furnished kitchen and dine with the family around the table. You will get a great night's sleep in one of the three bedrooms. On the lower level is a king master suite with bath and walk-in closet and sliding glass door to a lower deck. On this level is another bedroom with queen and full beds. There is a bathroom down the hall and a large family room with a large 55" screen TV. The upper level is the main living area with another large bedroom with reading area. This bedroom has a set of king and queen beds. The Sofa in the living room is a queen size sleeper sofa with gel foam mattress.

There is a large paved parking lot that can double as a outdoor fenced play area with still a lot of room for cars. The backyard is a smaller rock landscaped area within the fenced area with access to the lower decks of eash unit. Beyond the fence you can walk a 250 yard path to the ocean beach (a little wet in the winter).

There is a BBQ and a laundry facility for each unit. Quality bedding and towels are furnished for your ease.

You are just 3 miles from the casino and 5 miles from down town Ocean Shores with all the fun vacation activities for you to enjoy. There you will find golf, bowling, horseback riding, miniature golf, fun center, camel rides, go-cart, bumper cars, shopping, restaurants and so much more.

Just bring your food and toiletries and enjoy a couple days or weeks at the Washington Beach.

Bring your kayak and enjoy the creek and ocean! Connar creek runs through the property with fresh water and once you cross it, you can go all the way to the ocean. (currently no other means to cross the creek unless you bring your own boat or kayak)
The main house in Creek and Ocean Estate and Cabins has a spacious living space, dining space that seats 6, functional kitchen with granite counter tops and much more!
Both of the bedrooms have queen size beds with Daloyi Hotel Prime 100% cotton sheets which will guarantee a good night's sleep.
We do NOT allow pets as our kids are allergic. Please leave your furry friends at home. You will be asked to vacate the property immediately if you brought along pets without our written consent.

Some additional notes regarding the house

1) We have keyless entry and can accommodate late check ins.
2) Due to the age of the house, there is no outlet in the bathroom. The nearest is outside the bathroom in the hallway.
3) This is our vacation home and we do our best to keep it clean. However, it is not a hotel and due to its age, it does come with a few baggages.
*Our water is from our well and it tastes great, but it tends to have more minerals and make it hard to keep the faucet sparkling clean due to the build up.
**We had a purple bathtub which we decided to keep and painted it white to go with the rest of the bathroom. The paint job by our contractor was poor and it started to flake. We are looking for another solution but in the meanwhile, it was not pretty. If you care dearly about having a bath tub for a bubble bath, this house is NOT for you.
*** We have regular pest control but since we are in the middle of nature, that means we have more nature friends than a house in the city.
We understand this is not a house for everyone and want to make sure you know what you are getting into before you book. We do stay there ourselves and love the time but that doesn't mean it's right for you depending on your expectation.

The main house is older, but some new upgrades to the kitchen, bedrooms, living room and a car port to get your car out of the weather makes for a nice place to stay. The entire place sits on about 2 acres of land with a deep woods along the west side of the property. You are 1 mile from an access road that takes you to a beach. If you want entertainment, there is a Quinault Indian Casino about 4 miles away. Ocean Shores has a lot of restaurants and family friendly businesses you can browse through. There is a multiplex movie theater in Ocean Shores also and a sports bar for those interested in keeping up with the latest sporting events. Frogs serenade you to sleep at night. Great place for the nature lover."
