A glass fence along front of grassed area will protect little ones from getting down to the water but children will need to be supervised around spa.

Downstairs, the huge main bedroom has a King bed with large "walk in" robe and semi ensuite. The other wing of the house consists of 3 great sized double bedrooms, 2 of these rooms provide King beds (that can be split into King singles if requested), the other room has a Queen size bed. The second and fourth bedrooms will be set up as King beds unless requested otherwise (notice is required).

In the very large "loft style" room upstairs you will find two single beds (one can slide out into a double) and a Futon that folds down to provide another bed (if required). We suggest the loft beds are best suited to children. No sheets are provided for these beds but guests are welcome to bring their own for these.

The gorgeous kitchen looks on to beautiful tree lined water views and provides plenty of modern conveniences, including coffee machine, double oven and quality appliances. A lovely 8 seater rustic style table, graces the kitchen, or if you prefer outdoor dining, the large outdoor verandah also has an 8 seater table and a BBQ.

Step out from the kitchen onto the spacious, cool veranda with its two comfy armchairs and another dining suite for 10. The level lawn meets the river frontage with its own slipway into the water. With only one neighbour, it’s private and tranquil. Listen to the trill of local birdlife and watch for twilight wildlife. Kayaks are provided for your use, and there is a cute cubby house for the children to play in, or try your hand at fishing or catching crabs. Enjoy the firepit in the cooler evenings.

While the indoors is absolutely delightful and well-equipped for maximum comfort, you’ll be spending most of your time outside by the river, crabbing, fishing or kayaking, or cooking on the BBQ on the veranda. It’s truly idyllic!

The setting is superb. Dolphins and pelicans are your local visitors and at night time a friendly possum or two. North Yunderup is a sleepy nest and you’ll wonder at the peace and tranquillity. There are some local pubs and restaurants on the opposite side of the river and Pinjarra is a 10 minute drive where you’ll find a cafe, bakery, Redcliffe’s restaurant and Coles, as well as the golf course and Ranger Red’s Zoo and Conservation Park.

Mandurah is a 20 minute drive away with large shopping outlets and an array of cafes and restaurants. The beaches along this stretch of coast are stunning and well worth a visit. There are plenty of local nature walks as well as the historic Coopers Mill to explore. South Yunderup also offers an amazing kids adventure playground and supermarket.

But you honestly will not want to leave the property once you arrive, River Cottage is so idyllic. Don’t pass this one by!

Our Lake House in South Yunderup is a self contained 3x2 Villa. It’s only an hour away from the Perth CBD but it’s enough time for you to leave all your troubles behind. The Villa overlooks a picturesque Lake and has been set up to be a home away from home. We have added a few luxurious touches to make you feel just a little spoilt. No matter when you arrive we will have everything you need to start you off on a relaxing stay.

It’s amazing how relaxing space can be. This one takes it to a whole new level with every room a generous size. With a stunning canal outlook and a terrific outdoor space, combined with well-appointed interiors, this home certainly delivers.

The main living area is centered around the wonderful water just outside the door. Full-width sliding glass doors frame the canal, and the outdoor space is set up for cooking, eating and relaxing. Cast your line off the private jetty and perhaps catch some dinner! With a pizza oven and BBQ, seating for 8 and sun loungers, you’ll likely live most of your holiday out here!

Inside the kitchen is very well-equipped with high end appliances and plenty of space, including a breakfast bar with stools. There is a dining suite for 6 should you choose to eat inside and the comfortable leather lounges and TV will be a perfect spot to retire to at the end of your day.

The bedrooms are extremely generous spaces, conducive to a good night’s sleep! Tastefully decorated and with all linen provided, you’ll feel right at home. The bathrooms are equally expansive, one being an ensuite to the master King bedroom and the other shared by the remaining two bedrooms, one of which houses a Queen & Double bed and the other has a Queen and a Single. Large windows ensure plenty of light and there is reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge, each bedroom and ceiling fans. Should you need further sleeping space for children, there is an additional fold out single mattress and a fold out double bed in the lounge if needed.

There is also a large study, WiFi, a fully equipped laundry, a double garage and a kayak for you to use off the private jetty. What more could you ask for?

The area is a nature lover’s dream. The Peel estuary is famous for its bird life, and local nature walks draw visitors from miles around. The beaches along the coastline from Avalon Beach up to Singleton Beach are all stunning and well worth exploring, providing a host of activities from swimming and surfing to scuba diving and stand-up paddle boarding.

Locally there are plenty of places to entertain you, from an adventure playground, Ranger Red’s Zoo and Amaze Miniature Park for the children to the historic Cooper’s Mill and the local Pinjarra Golf Course.

There are a multitude of eateries such as the local Sandy Cove Tavern and Jetty’s Bar and Grill but venture a little further into Mandurah and you’ll find a range of cafes and restaurants, many on the harbour and well worth a visit.

Double carport with also parking bays across the road we are a back section with long skinny driveway there is turning around room but can be a little tricky to navigate in larger vehicles. We think this spot is pretty special and hope you will aswell and enjoy the beautiful surrounds that South Yunderup has to offer walks. fishing. crabbing. a stones through to a great waterfront bar and resturant. There is also a 2 man canoe with a small trailer so you can walk it down to the river if you wanted to explore the sights by water please let us know when booking if you would like the use of this as life jackets and oars are locked away when not in use. . Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine, mints and cookies on arrival We also have a selection of wines, snacks, chocolates for you to purchase should you get a craving and get caught short. The property is also equipped with everything you need to pack a picnic and spend the day at the river, even a tarp for the back of your car for the dogs on the way home...also provided is dog shampoo and towels, but if you really want to give your fur baby a treat I can highly recommend a groomer in Mandurah so you could drop you pooch off for a pamper whilst your browsing around town.

- "Simply brilliant. We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday. A great spot right over the water and the dog was fixated by the birdlife and fish. There is an IGA within a short drive if required. We had breakfast in Pinjarra (another short drive) and ventured into Mandurah a couple of times. Jetty's pub is a very short walk away and the Sandy Cove Tavern and Ravenswood Hotel are both close by. The northern aspect of the indoor/outdoor area takes advantage of the afternoon sun. The house is set up very well and we were extremely happy with the communication from the owners. 10 out of 10."
