The home has 3 BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS:

The MAIN bedroom boasts a solid timber Asian KING Size bed (linen is provided), polished timber floors, plantation-style ceiling fan and shutters opening onto a relaxing private balcony to capture the sea breeze and the sounds of the ocean.

The SECOND bedroom has a DOUBLE bed with a firm 'Sleeping Duck' mattress. For those that appreciate a good night's sleep, a 'Sleeping Duck' mattress is ideal!

The THIRD bedroom includes a SINGLE bed with a pullout TRUNDLE.

ALL bedrooms have ceiling fans and timber flooring which creates a cooling and relaxing atmosphere. A PORTABLE COT and BABY GATES are also available for use.

The main bathroom is upstairs was renovated in June 2015 and has a good size bath and modern rain shower fittings. There is also a smaller second renovated toilet and shower downstairs.

Fully tiled open plan living is downstairs and opens out to the undercover patio areas both front and back. There are 2 outdoor entertaining areas. The back has a BBQ, while the front has a timber deck where you can sit back and relax. Both outdoor areas have an outdoor table setting and there are 2x outdoor daybeds to choose from where you can lay back relax, listen to the ocean and enjoy the sea breeze.

The kitchen has had a total renovation (May 2019) and is equipped with everything to make it feel like home including a Nespresso coffee machine. But keep in mind there are some lovely restaurants and cafes to choose from that are just a 5-10 minute walk from your 'Beach House'.

FISHING enthusiasts can find a paradise on Pottsville Beach, or for those who prefer fishing in a creek, Pottsville Estuary is a close walking distance from the house. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the local fish & tackle shop in Pottsville.

There are TWICE MONTHLY VILLAGE MARKETS with great bargains to be found (1st and 3rd Sunday) and locals to meet.

As you enter the property you will be awed as you look through the open plan dining and informal lounge area to the main feature of the house – its enormous back deck overlooking the solar heated swimming pool. The deck features a table for 8, 2 cane lounges, barbeques, a fireplace, overhead heating, and a double door fridge, with water and ice.

The beautifully landscaped back gardens are fully fenced and ensures complete privacy. Through the back gate there is direct access to the bike path which leads over the bridge to Black Rocks Beach. You can access the creek just before the bridge.
Perfect summer or winter, spend your days on the beach, or on the day bed next to the pool, and rinse off in the outdoor hot shower.

The main living area has a dining setting for 8 as well as a cane lounge suite. On one side is a large media room, with a 65 inch TV (Prime Video included) and DVD. A wide variety of DVDs are available. There is a well stocked bookcase for holiday reading as well as games & puzzles for all ages.

On the other side is a more formal lounge room. All areas are air conditioned.

- "Nice property and location. Only a few minor things that would be nice to improve the stay, we were greeted with two overflowing bins and a pile of rubbish next to them left from the previous people. A call to the property manager to get the bins emptied resulted in the waste bin being emptied the following day however the recycle bin only being emptied the morning of departure, so when it was finally emptied it was immediately refilled from our stay plus the pile left from the previous people. No doubt the next people will arrive to the same situation (except we didn't leave a pile of rubbish next to the bins). Also, one of the local residents decided to park their car right outside the property for our entire stay resulting in one of us needing to park next door. The main bathroom was not clean and has not been cleaned in a long time going by the dirt build up on the shelf that the hand basin sits on. The last area to consider improving is the BBQ(s). The large one was not really useable so we didn't use it, and the small one wasn't big enough for our group (7) and the slide out tray was dirty before we used the BBQ."

Ducted aircon was great.It was short walk or drive to Pottsville or Cudgera Beaches.The lap pool in the back yard, the sun rose at 1 end and set at the other, so we had sun all day in the pool and on the deck beds.We drove to Byron Bay(30 mins) for the markets and a stroll around.We drove to Tweed Heads and Southport(30/50 mins) for larger scale entertainment.We loved staying at this house. - "Great place right on the beach" - "My partner and I (early 60's) stayed in June, and had two friends come and stay for 2 of the 5 nights. The house is perfectly set up for two families with the bottom floor having 2 bedrooms with 2 sets of bunks, and one bedroom with a queen - downstairs is serviced by a good sized bathroom and separate toilet - there is also a good laundry on the ground floor, and a lounge area with a TV. Upstairs is another queen bedroom with ensuite, a large living / dining area and kitchen. The house is well furnished with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. Our only complaint would be that there is more bedding needed - the house is very cold in Winter, and with no floor coverings or heating (there is a wood stove, but we could not get it to work as the flue seemed blocked). The doonas were too thin to be effective. The mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen needs some love - simple things like a bread board and coffee plunger were missing, however there was more than enough crockery, mugs and wine glasses for a big crowd. I would advise that the internal stairs are quite steep. The house has a good vibe to it, and there is plenty of room / areas to hang out. While we were staying Energex were replacing some poiles and we lost power over 2 days. LJ Hooker were very accommodating, polite and responsive and we were happy with how the situation was resolved. All in all, a lovely beach house that just needs a bit of TLC."

The town is situated on the beach with an amazing creek to swim, snorkel, paddle boarding and fishing and spend hours of fun in. There is also a boat ramp and walking & bike tracks and also a large children’s playground nearby, Pottsville is a great family friendly town and close to the famous Rail Trail which goes from Murwillumbah to Mooball.
Make sure you experience the creek at high tide – especially incoming tide (1-3 hours before high tide) – where you can walk to the creek mouth, jump in and float down the creek without lifting a finger! When the weather I clear and sunny, the water colour resembles Fiji it is so stunning!

There is a ‘creek beach’ on the north side of the creek which is great for kids! You can access from Tweed Coast Road and the walking track to the creek beach next to Ambrose Brown Park/playground. Again, incoming high tide is always best for the creek as it is tidal and flows in from the ocean (rather than the outgoing tide which brings water from further inland which can be murkier).
The local creek is stunning and perfect for families with young kids. Spend your days building sandcastles, catching crabs & floating out with the tide.
