If you have somebody who is 6' or taller, they might have challenges bumping their head. The yellow wooden house stands in the middle of the village Appenzell, opposite to the town hall. It is 450 years old, has an old equipment from grandmother's time and can tell stories. This may provide a romantic feeling of the middle ages. Nearly all parts of the house are made of wood. Some parts which make our todays life more confortable are new, e.g. bed, cooking equipment, towels, wifi etc. The apartment is on the 1st floor. It is intended for 2-3 people. In case of 4-5 guests an additional room can be used on the 2nd floor, with toilet and bath in the holiday apartment. From the kitchen you see the colorful life on the place.
