- "I had an amazing time at Saletoga Sands Resort. The view was breathtaking, and my children loved the chance to see the beautiful fish right next to the shore. They were also delighted watching the crabs scuttle between the rocks. A highlight for me was the theme dinner nights, adding a unique and enjoyable dimension to my stay, and the pricing was very reasonable. Saletoga Sands is a family-oriented resort. While there's a delightful splash pool and playground for children up to about 8 or 9 years old, most guests congregated around the separate swimming pool. The addition of ride toys for young children and a water slide into the ocean by the owners was a really nice touch. Even though I wasn't daring enough to go down the slide, I appreciated the creativity it brought to the property. The limited internet availability posed a challenge for my husband, but he didn't mind sitting in the lobby to stay connected, whereas I saw it as an opportunity to read a good book. Overall, Saletoga Sands Resort exceeded my expectations with its thoughtful amenities, family-friendly environment, and unique touches that made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this resort."

- "Our Christmas at Return to Paradise was just lovely. The property is beautiful; the staff were friendly and helpful; the little beach glorious. The owners made Christmas very special and made all of us guests feel very involved. Our beachfront villa was very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a kettle and a hairdryer and a fridge. Plenty of storage. A comfy bed. A nice verandah to sit on and watch the waves. The little cocktail bar was great, with a decent selection. Food options are limited at the resort but served with a smile, and all good quality. My partner got injured on our last day and the staff were amazing. One of them drove us to the hospital and got help for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Our thanks to Romana, Martha and the whole Return to Paradise team for making our Christmas so memorable. We hope to return ourselves one day!"

This location is excellent for exploring Apia by foot. The annual New Years's Eve fireworks on the waterfront are right across the street, as is the Samoan Cultural Center and Tourism Visitor Center. The rooms here have very comfortable beds, good a/c and very nicely appointed private bathrooms. Free Cantonese breakfast is included at the attached Tauese Restaurant. We really appreciated the prompt and attentive service of the front desk staff, Rachael and Maria, and especially the Hotel Manager Joyce L. - "I really liked my stay. The room was very neat and clean. Even though it is located near the main road, there was minimum distraction from outside. Just in case you are bored, you can stand on the balcony and watch the traffic whilst enjoying the clean atmosphere. They also have a restaurant which gives generous portion of food at a very affordable price. You can also access the grocery store downstairs just in case you need a snack to munch-on during your stay. They also have toothbrush and toothpaste, comb and shaving gear in the bathroom.
