An awesome bakery nearby and not far from the old town. The only negative point was the sauna was put of use which was quite a damper as that was the reason I actually booked the Marriott. Nice people, good hotel, if I ever visit Sarejvo again I would happily stay at the Marriott again."

The interior is tastefully decorated and the room offers enough space for both rest and work; the WiFi was fast and secure, so I can recommend this hotel to those who work remotely. The room included all the basic amenities and bottled water; the only thing that could be a major improvement is including q tips in the vanity kits. The hotel offers a wellness area with a swimming pool and two saunas; make sure to have your own flip-flops and a swimming bonnet as the hotel only offers basic slippers (might not be a good idea for slippery wet marble, especially when the hotel is full) and a shower cap (thin cellophane, might easily rip and make the swimming experience unpleasant in the peak hours). The guests can also try the gym in the hotel across the park. The restaurant at the hotel provides ample options at the breakfast table as well as a la carte dinner; I was satisfied with the service, portion size, and reasonable pricing. The only negative thing I noticed is the light flickering in the bathroom and the corridor. All in all, I recommend this hotel to everyone and I will certainly come back again!"

- "I liked it, a little dark and old inside but this is historical area and the location is perfect. It was very close to the park and Velika Aleja perfect for walking. Staff was friendly. The employee was very nice and helpful but I wish they put SHATAF on the bathroom" - "This hotel is a historical building situated in a park in the outskirts of Sarajevo away from the hustle-bustle of the city, the traffic and the pollution. The airport is only a few miles away, but air traffic noise is not a problem as flights are rather infrequent. We chose to take a taxi into town which cost only around €10 but you can use the No.3 tram too particularly during non-peak hours when it's not packed. I would not recommend the tram / bus though during the hot season as it will not be pleasant. The hotel staff are very helpful and will call you a taxi in no time. However, if you want to catch a taxi back from town it may not be that easy. The hotel has recently changed their name to Crystal from Hungaria but the signs on the street have not been changed. Some taxi drivers may not know the new name either so you may have to say Hotel Hungaria. Guests can use the pool and gym free of charge at their sister Spa Hotel a few minutes walk away. Sauna, thermal spring and other treatments have a charge but are pretty reasonable. British guests may like to note there is no electric kettle or coffee machine in the room but you can ask for hot water at the restaurant until 11pm. Being such a beautiful environment, locals like to use the 3 hotels there for their wedding parties so occasionally there could be party noise till midnight and I think weekends in particular. So it may not be ideal if you are not a great sleeper. Otherwise, the hotel surpassed our expectation. "

- "The apartment is very new and in excellent condition. Its location is excellent-close to parking, shopping and walking to the sights in Old Town. We received clear instructions on the aforementioned parking and for the check-in procedures. Also important for us this time, as we have been travelling for a while, the advertised laundry facilities were actually access to a washer and dryer not just laundry services done by someone else. The only comment that I can make and this is very minor, I would suggest adding hooks or towel bars in the bathroom. It was a great stay."
