Pool is very small for a larger resort. Buffet had a lot of choices but the a lot of the same food for all three meals (many breakfast items that we would consider lunch or dinner). Most buffet hot items were cold by the time you served yourself, even if you were there at the start. We enjoyed the wine on tap! Biggest issue for us is the lack of transportation to the hotel. An all inclusive hotel should offer a free shuttle from the ferry. We've stayed at many over the years and they always had transportation included so we found this frustrating. It costs us 30 Euro for a 10 minute taxi from the Stari Grad ferry dock to the resort. It is relatively isolated so this really should be offered all inclusive."

- "Not the best! Communication about directions and entry to the apartment were received as we were on the ferry from Split. On arriving at the apartment we found there to be two buildings one being the kitchen the other being the bedroom/living room and the bathroom. Whilst clean the fixtures/fittings in both are dated and there were mosquitos in the bedroom/living area. We asked the host to come along and clear them or provide alternative accommodation, the response was 'All house is booked. But you can just open the doors and windows so they will go out.'. They might go out but we know others come in. We had to purchase appropriate sprays to use in the rooms to clear/ward off further mosquitos. All windows in the bedroom/bathroom building are frosted so you cannot see out of them and the only window that can be opened to provide ventilation is in the bathroom. Whilst there is a double bed and sofa bed in the bedroom/living area it was the sofa bed that was made up as the bed and therefore there was nowhere to sit/relax in the living area. The kitchen being a separate building meant that if you wanted anything, like a morning cup of tea/coffee, you had to be fully dressed to get it. There is also damp on the walls. There is no restaurant. Fortunately Vrboska is a great small town so there were plenty of places to go eat, drink and sit/relax so we spent as little time as possible at the property. If you want to stay in Vrboska find a different property. "

- "My partner and I spend a week in this lovely apartment in Vrboska to celebrate my 60th birthday. It looks exactly like the photos. The view from the large balcony is just gorgeous, and makes it a great place to wake up in and come home to, or just hang out in. The apartment feels like a real home, not a sterile tourist rental. It's also nice and quiet. The kitchen has what you need if you want to cook. We didn't, because there is so much delicious food in easy walking distance! The town is super cute and not so overrun as Hvar town. We had a car so could explore other towns and other parts of the island. In town you can also rent bicycles, mopeds or a boat, or book a boat tour. There is a grocery store or two about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Right from the apartment you can easily walk to several beautiful beaches through a pine tree "forest" (small) which have a wonderful smell. The water is crystal clear. I highly recommend this apartment and the location if you like nature, quiet and a lovely cute town with plenty of restaurants. We also liked the location in the middle of the island, easy to explore in both directions. Our host Jasminka and her husband were super welcoming. Jasminka was always quick and easy to communicate with. They recommended and made reservations for a great restaurant (Bonaca) for us. - "We stayed at this beautiful villa with family (4 adults and 2 children aged 1 and 3). Great layout for families with children or multiple guests. The villa was clean and well appointed/well stocked (especially the kitchen- it had all the essentials, including a nespresso machine!). We cooked often and had a chef come one evening to make a beautiful meal. There is a large common area that leads out to the pool and a lovely outdoor area. And one floor below there is a sauna with some workout equipment and a cellar / games room. There are also bikes, a paddle board, kayak and other gear if you are feeling outdoorsy. We would launch the paddle board from in front of the villa and head out across the little inlet/bay. You have the most beautiful views from the upstairs balconies and from the pool which overlooks the ocean. We spent many mornings sipping coffee by the pool, and many evenings having dinner outside and watching the sunset. It was peaceful and magical. The ocean is steps away from the villa and there is a small rocky shore where you can go for a dip or launch a kayak/paddle board. Walking out of the villa to the left, you can walk along a beach path/road for a fairly long stretch and within 6-10 mins are a few charming beach cafes + a small resort. If you walk to the other direction, along the water, you will find yourself in the center of Vrboska (10 mins walk - even with children!). There are a few charming restaurants, ice cream shops, bakery, grocery store. We ate in the center of town a few times and had excellent meals and service. We loved being in Vrboska and we were a short drive away from Stari Grad and Jelsa, and maybe 25-30 mins from Hvar. We also took advantage of local charters to cross over to Bol and Zlatni Rat (15 mins from Vrboska) and also to visit the Pakleni Islands. In advance of the trip, the owner was very friendly and responsive. He helped to answer many questions and was a helpful guide. The custodian at the home Mr Zorko was also very kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and found that everyone was so hospitable and caring. I they went above and beyond. A very memorable stay - would recommend very highly."

- "Beautiful house !" - "A very beautiful house, in a lovely quiet and restful location. The walk to the beach is a 6 min walk, down a very straight, and very steep hill. But the 3 little beaches were lovely, with crystal clear water and very few people, even in July. We were all in a large people carrier, so the journey to Zavala is not for the faint hearted! little twisty roads and a very steep driveway made it a bit of a challenge, but if you want quiet and a bit of a hidden gem, then it’s worth it. Would definitely come back."
