- "Apartment is small and quite dark as its on the ground floor, but this meant it was cool even on very hot days. It's really well equipped with everything we needed. The only slight issue we found was the bells from the clock tower 50yards away, they start at 6am and stop at 10pm. Didn't cause us issues as we wake up early but not great for those who want a lie in. Location is perfect just a few mins walk to the small back streets with great restaurants and close to the harbour."

The small hamlet of Rodina is a half hour walk uphill from Starigrad where the nearest shops, bars and restaurants are, but our teenage children coped well with this doing lots of walking, swimming and exploring ( excellent wifi). Despite the remoteness the villa is well equipped and we enjoyed many fun family meals cooking in the black kitchen in the garden. This was a truly wonderful place in an unspoilt corner of Hvar."
