The sofa bed in the living room was not fit for 2 people, it squeaked whenever you turned on it and was also very uncomfortable to sleep on. However the double bed was comfortable. The apartment was in a great location, a short 5 minute walk to the seafront and a lovely fish and chip shop on the bottom of the street. Parking was free in a private car park, but it would be a tight squeeze for a larger vehicle, we managed just about with a Kia Sportage. Our party was made up of 5 adults, and we didn’t feel safe at night because there were no means to lock the front door to the building, only that we had an electrical code on our door knob to get into our apartment. It would’ve been nice to have a chain internally to add as an extra security measure. We were not best pleased with the builders that were occupying the apartment upstairs. They woke us up at 6am stamping up and down the stairs, one even decided it was ok to sing at the top his lungs."

- "Great property and fantastic service" - "The apartment was very nice, check in was easy. Location is great and very central." - "AVOID! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The property was basic, stained furniture, bulbs missing and the shower was not great. The boiler failed on our second day and someone had to come to fix it. Communication with the host was rude and disrespectful, accused me of smoking inside the property (I never did - i smoked out the back). We could not find the cutlery as this was in a drawer inside a drawer and was not clear to see. When we advised we may be leaving a day early, we received a message saying if we did not return by a certain time our luggage would be left in the lobby! I paid my hard earned money for a stay at this apartment with my son and grandson and couldn't wait to leave. The host's attitude was disgusting and they communicated in a way that made us feel like raising genuine issues was a big problem for them. We will never go back to this apartment, nor would we recommend anyone else to stay here. I am sure the host will try and respond to this review and make out they did everything in a timely manner but you do not want to spend your holiday communicating problems. Properties should be checked to a standard before renting out and any issues that cannot be resolved before the start should be communicated to the guests beforehand. "

- "A great house, in a good location. Spacious and comfortable with a thoughtful welcome pack left for us on arrival. Thank you. The only downside was the lack of curtains in the bedrooms. Two bedrooms had none and the master had some, but they weren’t wide enough to cover the whole window and block out the light. I would recommend this as a place to stay and hope this improvement could be taken in to consideration." - "Great place to stay.
