However, all of the door handles were loose and ready to fall off. Shower doors are corroded. It could use a fresh coat of paint, a change of carpet on the stairs, more comfortable beds, and a couple more chairs in the living room. The cleaner had done the laundry from the last guests and left it out drying in the dining room and on radiators. A bit of TLC is needed to make this a great property. Easy check in. At the end of our visit, we caught an early morning Eurostar train to Paris by taking a short journey from Thameslink to St. Pancras. Many restaurants near property to choose from. It was actually quite nice to be in the heart of the bustling financial district each day rather than among throngs of tourists, so we could experience more of the typical everyday London life. Property was clean with a full kitchen though we did not cook - just stored items from local grocery stores for breakfast and snacks. Apartment is on third floor of building - required walking up stairs but no issue at all for our family. Definitely recommend this property to others!"

- "A bonus having a fridge in the room and access to a shared kitchen. No towel change throughout stay, and only one mini shower gel per room per stay which was not enough. Tea and coffee sachets left in kitchen variable so second visit I brought tea and coffee. - "Ok, so ignoring the 4 flights of stairs to get to the second floor room which was difficult with a heavy case, the room was spotless, the air con worked properly, the water was piping hot and the room itself was quiet overnight. Obviously other residents leaving at 6am didn't help but on the whole a peaceful sleep was had. The bed was extremely comfortable and the tv worked well. No tea or coffee in the room which was a shame as for £130 a night I would have expected it and no one came in to clean while I was there although to be fair I didn't need it. The shower head doesnt stay up on the rail so you had to duck to get your head under it but the hot water was plentiful. Would I stay again, yes if the prices stayed reasonable."

Any sort of parties, gatherings or events are strictly not permitted, the property is for accommodation purposes only for the guests staying. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise or any activity that would disturb the neighbours. If it's been reported that there are any parties or events or noise disturbance then you may be required to leave the property immediately without the remaining nights being refunded. There is a charge of £500 if any evidence of a party, gathering or event at the property have been found exclusive of any charges relating to damages or additional cleaning costs to get the property in good order again. We trust you will respect the property and neighbours during your stay.

You are required to keep the place reasonably clean and tidy - no dirty dishes left over or excessive rubbish to be disposed of as this is not included in the cleaning charge. If the place is very messy or untidy or there is excessive rubbish to be disposed of then we will need to request an extra cleaning fee.

There is a strictly no smoking policy inside or in any outside spaces (which includes garden spaces, balconies, terraces or patios) belonging to the accommodation, if this policy is not adhered to a charge of GBP 150.00 will be applied.

No pets are allowed unless shown on the listing as permitted or expressly agreed with the owner.

Lost keys, damaged keys or getting locked out will incur a charge starting from £100 for replacement depending on the type of key and time required or getting you back in the property if you have locked yourself out.

The Neighborhood:

To the north, you'll find St Pancras and King's Cross with great national and international travel connections, including the Eurostar to Paris and Amsterdam.

Getting Around:
Chancery Lane is extremely central and within walking distance of many of London's entertainment hubs and sights. Holborn and Chancery Lane tube stations (8 min walk) are on the Central line with Holborn (7 min walk) two stops from Oxford Circus for the West End and Chancery Lane one stop from St Paul’s and two stops from Bank for the City. Holborn is also on the Piccadilly line.

It is a short walk to Farringdon which is due to get the Elizabeth line in December next year.

Liverpool Street is just a 7 minute journey away, while in the other direction Shepherds Bush can be reached in 14 minutes. Meanwhile for access to the Northern line, Tottenham Court Road station is a short walk away.

Thanks to the Romans and their dominating London Wall, there continues to be a split through the middle of Farringdon London, creating the two wards of Farringdon Within and Farringdon Without. Despite this, the whole of Farringdon is a fun, smart, vibrant and blossoming area of the capital that has much to offer. The Movebubble offices are in Farringdon so we may be biassed, but we’d say this is one of the best areas of London. Home to pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and Fabric -one of London’s most popular clubs, this grown-up version of Shoreditch is a popular place to live and work, attracting more people every day.

Getting Around:
Transport links to and from Farringdon are excellent, with both underground and mainline services available from Farringdon station.
