All the tools needed for cooking easily available for colanders, cutting boards, cheese tray, air fryer: convection oven to your standard oven and microwave! Refrigerator has ice and water on the door to make it easy. Loads of dishes, glassware and cups make get togethers are breeze. Dining table that seats 8 and a game table that seats 4, a quiet sitting area along with a a large comfy couch to watch sports or movies in the game room! - "The first thing that you notice when you pull in is a giant pothole in their driveway. They want to charge 5/night parking when no other hotel does within 20 miles. I must have killed at least 8 fly’s in the room upon entering. I should have asked for a refund and found another place to stay. The next morning a washer broke and flooded the hallway to the lobby. They couldn’t help the flood, but, I didn’t see anyone around trying to clean it up. You might save a few dollars staying there if you don’t mind putting up with things like flys."

Our home is ~1,700 sq ft plus a large finished basement which features our entertainment & sitting area along with a beautiful secluded bedroom and a full dual-monitor computer desk (including keyboard, mouse, and dock) along with a comfy desk chair, perfect for Work-From-Home! We also have an awesome back yard including a fire pit, plenty of seating, cornhole for those fun summer days and beautiful string lighting for the nighttime!

We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. We have a garage that fits two cars, with room for two additional cars in our driveway. We are located on a quiet street which also allows street parking so if you need additional parking, there's plenty!

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the door from the garage to the house. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.

When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.

Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.

Our stunning, newly-renovated four-bedroom with a super fun back yard fire pit and sitting area is nestled on the east side of Troy in close proximity to many SE Michigan locations, including Sterling Heights, Birmingham, Royal Oak/Ferndale, and the rest of metro-Detroit. Our home is ~1,940 sq ft plus a large finished basement which features our entertainment & sitting area along with a beautiful secluded bedroom and two full dual-monitor computer desks (including keyboard, mouse, and dock) along with comfy desk chairs, perfect for Work-From-Home! We also have an awesome back yard including a fire pit, plenty of seating, cornhole for those fun summer days and beautiful string lighting for the nighttime!

Before getting to work, sip your morning coffee (or espresso!) or afterwards, enjoy an evening glass of wine on our patio in our backyard! With a fully-equipped kitchen and an outdoor propane grill, our home is also perfect for cooking or enjoying time with friends and family!

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:

We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.

We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

We have a garage that fits two cars, with room for two additional cars in our driveway. We are located on a quiet street which also allows street parking so if you need additional parking, there's plenty!

Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the door from the garage to the house. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.

When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.

Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Pullout Couch: Underneath the horizontal seat you will find two fabric handles. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two!

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:

- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly in the evening
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
