This 1 bedroom cottage is within walking distance to downtown. Restaurants, shopping, wineries, family activities, and nightlife are all within a 1/2 mile. A large driveway to park your car or golf cart is available directy in front of the cottage if you choose. Easy ground level access with high vaulted ceilings, full bathroom, a full kitchen, and a pull out couch. Perfect for small families! Cottage has separate entrances and complete privacy. However, this cottage is attached to an islander's family residence that live there full time. Sorry, no bachelor/bachelorette parties. Owners will confirm number of guests at check in. This cottage is best suited for 2 adults or a small family. With a queen bed and a pull out couch, there is not a lot of personal space if you aren't used to sleeping together.

Back Bay Condominiums are located on the corner of Toledo Avenue and Langram Road on the water near downtown Put-in-Bay.
In fact we are just about a three minute stroll from the heart of the island's downtown district where you'll fine unique shops, more than a dozen restaurants, all kinds of attractions and loads of entertainment. After a day full of fun activities, come home to a relaxing condo on the lake where you can enjoy breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view of Kelleys Island and the Perry Memorial, or an evening watching your favorite television show or movie. Both units are spacious and open and are located adjacent to each other.
A metal gate separates each of the condominium units along the large balcony they share on each floor. The gate between our units can be unlocked when both units are rented by the same family or group of friends to make entertaining easier.
This wooden deck provides a nice view of the lake and overlooks a large lakefront yard. There is deck furniture at both units for your use.

This privately owned and operated waterfront condo is beautifully and tastefully furnished. The beautiful water views from the deck as well as throughout the entire unit are breathtaking and relaxing. This one level, two bedroom, two bath, floor plan has your comfort in mind! The master bedroom is very spacious with two queen beds, and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has one queen with bathroom directly across the hall. Each bedroom also has its own TV. This condo also includes all amenities including washer/dryer and Internet. The condo also has a private deck that includes a pub table, chairs and a grill.

Middle Bass blends nature and serenity on this small, secluded island getaway. Originally named Ile de Fleurs or Island of Flowers, visitors can find beautiful lake views, a wildlife refuge, and an Ohio state park.

Island attractions include JF Walleyes family friendly resort style dining with restaurant & bar located directly across from the Middle Bass Marina. Walleyes includes a restaurant, shopping, lagoon style pool with waterfalls and fountains and daily live entertainment. For a morning coffee or pasty visit the Island Grind Cafe and bakery located in the historic press house located on the Lonz Winery Island property. Beautiful, modern, clean, two-bedroom condo sleeps four. WE DO NOT ACCEPT INQUIRIES ABOVE 4 GUESTS. Water front view is spectacular. Granite counters in kitchen and baths. The downstairs master has a king bed, upstairs has a queen and sleeper futon. Brand new appliances. Private balcony includes 2 lounge chairs, small table, umbrella, and a barbecue grill. Just a short walk over to St. Hazard's Resort is the pool. Ohio State Park is next door, with new, beautiful marina complex, campground, and beach. Tour the island by bike (rentals at state park complex) or by golf cart (rentals at J.F. Walleyes Restaurant). Put-In-Bay is a pleasant, half-hour ferry ride away on the "Sonny S" ferry. The "Sonny S" makes several trips a day. Middle Bass was originally named Isle de Fleurs or Island of Flowers, a family-friendly blend of nature and serenity.

Building quiet hours are 11pm to 8am. We maintain a strict noise policy. First call to police for violation of quiet hours, a warning is received. Second call results in expulsion and loss of payment and damage deposit.

Unless you have your own boat or plane, the Island is accessed by the Miller Ferry, (exit 124 off of Route 2 West). To bring your vehicle over, you must reserve a spot for it on the ferry, 1-800-500-2421, call up to two weeks ahead. Check out the Miller Ferry website for rates for people, bikes, and vehicles.

Middle Bass is a smaller, low-key island in comparison to South Bass (Put-In-Bay). There is great pizza (sit down place) at the general store. Two other restaurants are on island. We have had good food at J.F. Walleyes. Lots of people ferry to South Bass for their meals also. For those staying more than a couple of days, we recommend you bring your fresh produce with you, as general store is great but limited with some offerings.

**While there is a flat screen TV for watching DVDs, it does not have cable or satellite reception. If being away from the media is something you do not desire, this unit may not be the one for you. There is wireless at the General Store sit down pizza place.

Relaxing, lakefront condo with balcony on Middle Bass Island. This newly updated condo sleeps 6 comfortably. New furniture throughout. Master bedroom is very spacious and has two queen beds with a private full bath attached. Second bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom directly across the hall. Kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. This unit also has a private washer/dryer. Balcony has a new comfortable patio set and gas grill.

Middle Bass Island offers something for everyone. There is plenty of peaceful nature to enjoy on this quiet island. All while being a short water taxi ride over to Put- In- Bay on the Sonny S Ferry. The state park marina is just a short walk away with transient docks, and free boat ramp. Contact the Middle Bass Island State Park Marina for information on bike and kayak rentals.

- "The condo was nicely furnished and also clean. The view was the absolute best part. You do have to walk by a very rowdy, loud crowd to get there but once you are back into the condo building it was quiet. Most places we rent normally have standard amenities such as soap, small samples of shampoo, coffee, sugar, small creamers…so we were surprised this condo did not. Also!!! IMPORTANT! 4 out of the 5 times we really needed a shuttle we could not get one. There is only ONE shuttle for Hazzards on Middle Bass, so we were stuck at a pizza place with no way to walk almost a mile in a bad storm. Take your car over to this island, if you stay at this condo located in Hazards-it is not like PutNBay where they have tons of shuttles/taxis. You will be carrying your luggage for over 25 minutes on a highway with no sidewalk. We wish we would have known this info especially with the storms! But we appreciated the condo being clean and they did have a coffee maker. And the little patio was nice. We turned off the air conditioner while we sat outside for another tip."

Welcome to Middle Bass Island! This newly remodeled Villa is great for a family fun get away where you can explore the island(s) or for a couple (or two or three) wanting to get away. Located on St. Hazards Resort, there's a community pool, community hot tub, restaurant & Tiki bar within walking distance. Sleeps 7 in beds or 8 (1 on fold out bed). Beds are comfortable and newer! Full deck area for entertaining or hanging out w/ a fire pit in the yard area. 4 restaurants and Historic Lonz Winery museum with the Island Grind Coffee Shop & State Park are all within walking distance. Brand new flooring throughout Villa, new cabinets, completely remodeled kitchen with custom beautiful Bass Island counter tops. Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, all new bed linens, comfortable new pillows, Gas Grill, coffee, spices, basic condiments, complimentary 1 Gallon of water (the resort has well water, we would recommend bringing water or buying water at the General Store) and other amenities included. The General Store is a 6 minute walk if you need to purchase anything. The kitchen is fully functional where you could prepare a lot of meals if you prefer to eat in or outside on the spacious deck.

Hazzards resort has laundry facilities, extra shower facilities, extensive indoor/outdoor lounge with scheduled entertainment.

JF. Walleyes Restaurant https://www.jfwalleyes.net and the General Store https://www.facebook.com/mbigeneralstore/ are within walking distance - 5 to 10 minutes. Walleye's has good food and a beautiful atmosphere with a Blue Lagoon where you can cool off, listen to music or just relax by the Blue Lagoon in the sun. JF. Walleyes also has a boutique where you can purchase souvenirs and Middle Bass Island clothing.

JF. Walleye's & Hazards resort both have golf cart rentals. Neither place will accept reservations for golf cart rentals, but they have several golf carts for rent.

There’s a water taxi for trips from Middle Bass to Put-N-Bay. Inter-Island Charters is located next to the Miller Ferry boat. They post their weekly schedule on Facebook.

Miller Ferry Boat is the only Ferry from the mainland (Catawba Is/Port Clinton) that comes to Middle Bass Island. You can bring a vehicle, but you must schedule it ahead of time - at least two weeks before your trip. If you do not want to bring a vehicle, our Villa is within walking distance to all 3 restaurants/stores on the island. It's .82 miles away (20 minute walk) and you can cut through Lonz Winery State Park & walk along the State Marina to save time. If you walk, we would recommend a rolling suitcase and maybe a wagon, depending on how much stuff you bring.
