- "The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We drove in Sunday night ate at the attached restaurant and were planning to go to the beach area for the eclipse. We found out from the lot attendant and one of the guests that there was a party across the street, and that we would need passes to park in the lot, and wrist bands for their get together. Beautiful, very clean, nonsmoking third floor condo located at the Waterfronts Resorts right over the drawbridge from the Jet Express, your fastest access to world famous Put-In-Bay. This condo has been remodeled and shows like new. Our condo includes a queen size bedroom set in the master bedroom, washer and dryer, air conditioning, and a full kitchen including dishwasher and microwave oven. Other sleeping accommodations for guests/kids include a sleeper couch in the living room and two fold-away beds. The harbor room has a gorgeous view of the Lake Erie Islands, our private beach and the Port Clinton Yacht Club Marina. The harbor room entrance is steps away from the sandy beach and pool. Our large heated pool includes built-in bench seats for the adults and a zero-entry feature and water sprayers for the small children. Our hot tub comfortably seats eight people. The pool and hot tub are traditionally open from Memorial Day weekend thru the first/second weekend after Labor Day (weather permitting). Charcoal grills can be found on the common areas which allows for setting up chairs and tables for outdoor dining or pure relaxation. The grounds of the resort are very kid friendly and includes plenty of green space and a playground as well. The sandy beach area is protected by a cove so that the shallow water and sandbars make ideal swimming conditions in the lake for small children.

Access to water sports abound, with fishing charters and dock rental for your boat across the street and within walking distance. The Division of Wildlife operates a fish hatchery on the island which is very educational and ideal for kids. Also on the island is the historic Perry's Monument which stands 352 feet tall. It was established to honor those who fought during the War of 1812. Experience the breathtaking view from the observation deck. On a clear day Canada, Cleveland and the surrounding islands are visible. Two other ferry boats are located nearby on Catawba and Marblehead that allow you to take your vehicle over to the islands.

The birdwatchers in your family will love to visit Magee Marsh Wildlife Area. This 2,202-acre controlled hunting area is located 17 miles west of Port Clinton. Spring and fall migrations are spectacular at Magee Marsh, with more than 300 species of birds being recorded in the area. Bald eagles, peregrine falcons, osprey, and a large variety of hawks can be seen at Magee Marsh during the spring. A forested beach ridge located on Magee provides a critical feeding and resting habitat for more than 150 species of migrating songbirds, including 36 species of warblers, as they rest and refuel before continuing on their journey. An accessible boardwalk that meanders through this beach ridge provides some of the best bird watching opportunities in the Midwest.

If you have kids and are looking for a little more excitement, world famous Cedar Point amusement park, with 17 roller coasters, live entertainment, kids' area and a water park, is located about 20-25 minutes away. Other indoor waterparks in the Sandusky area include Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge.

We recommend our guests stop at the Ottawa County/Lake Erie Shores & Islands Visitor's Bureau on SR 53N, just after you exit SR 2 onto SR 53 (across from the Harbor Light Landing shops) and pick up a travel guide to the area. We also provide these guides, as well as other brochures in the cottages, so you can get the most from your trip to the Lake.

Note, our condo complex does not have elevators, it is stairway accessible. A strict non-smoking and no pets policy is enforced.

This beautiful condo is nestled in a resort type condo association, right on the shores of Lake Erie.

We were so happy to have purchased this unit! A spectacular view!

Front row seats to the pool, hot tub, sail boats, jet skis and beautiful, beautiful (yes, I said that twice on purpose) sunrises and ohhhhh those sunsets! Grab your glass of wine and the ones you love, and remember why life is so much better at the lake.

The floor plan of the condo is well suited for families or couples alike. There is a separation of privacy for both bedrooms.
The bathroom has a double sink and a separate shower and toilet area.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. You will find everything I think you will need to enjoy dining in a pleasure as well.
There is a washer and dryer in the condo.
The dining and living area are spacious and open on to one of three balconies in our condo. ( Did I mention there is a private balcony in the master bedroom? ). Tell the kids everyone needs to go to bed and slip out on your private balcony. Enjoy that night cap and marvel at the stars , watch the lights of the boats on the lake and listen to the waves hit the shores.

We have enjoyed coming to our condos at the lake for many years. The grounds here are impeccable, you feel like you are at a resort. I guess you are! Private beach area, heated pool and hot tub, (you can actually sit in the hot tub and watch the activity on the lake) a separate sunning deck, also on the water, for sunning or napping. A beautiful hardscape patio area with two gas fire pits and waterfall. Charcoal grills are available at an area by the water with a grassy area and picnic tables. The Shores also offers tennis courts and security.

This is the second season for this condo on this site but we are well seasoned in the vacation rental business at this same location. We own two additional units here. The condo is spacious, very clean, well stocked kitchen and lots of books/games, 2nd bedroom has it's own bathroom (which our daughter loved!), and lots of outdoor space with 3 balconies. There is really so much to do so very close by, but you may just want to relax with the waves of Lake Erie lapping at the shore and come to realize that time at the lake soothes your soul.

You will love this clean and comfortable condo with a marina view and tasteful lake decor. This two bedroom second story condo is sure to give you that relaxation or fun getaway you are looking for. Sleeps 4 and has a well appointed kitchen, two flat screen televisions and WIFI. It also has a washer and dryer, blow dryer, dishwasher, coffee pot, blender, stove/oven, refrigerator and microwave.

It features clubhouse access to restrooms and showers, a heated pool and hot tub. There are also gas grills, a fire pit, basketball hoop and boat slips available to rent if you plan on bringing your boat or jet skis. Don't have a boat or jet ski? You can always rent one near-by.

Walk or bike (there are sidewalks) to downtown beaches, playgrounds, restaurants, nightlife (often with live music). Skip the parking fees and walk over to the Jet for a fun trip to the popular Put-In-Bay or Kelly's Island (less than a mile walk and last ferry typically returns around midnight). We are inside the MORA district. If you like animals, make sure you check out the African Safari Wildlife Park (12 mi). Restaurants and fishing charters are within a mile. If you like wineries, I recommend Gideon Owen (13 mi). I also recommend Twin Oaks Brewery...Lovely and sometimes has festivals and live music. Check their schedules on their websites if planning a visit. Nearby Rosie's Bar and Grill and Dock's Beachouse are also great local spots. Grab a drink at one of the nearby bars (walkable). Plenty of live music on the weekends.

25 minutes to Cedar Point, Kalahari, and a short drive to many other beaches and parks that Lake Erie has to offer.

Portage River Paddling Company (kayak and canoe rentals) is within 2 miles and Jet Ski rentals available next to Docks Beachhouse Restaurant which is right down the street. We have recently been spotting bike rentals at several downtown areas, one being near Bootlegger's restaurant.

Port Clinton is the Walleye Capital of the World. There are lots of fishing charters in Port Clinton. Fishing piers and a nice park also nearby. **Fish cleaning is not allowed anywhere at the Clinton Reef Club, not even your boat. There are however local fish cleaning companies.

It is a non smoking unit. We're sorry, but absolutely no pets are allowed. There is no elevator. Condo is on second floor. No parties allowed. Must follow condo association rules.

The unit has direct access to the community pool and grill area with great views of the pool and Lake Erie. - "We really enjoyed this condo for a quick girls’ getaway. Very cute place. Clean, spacious and everything we needed was provided. There are wonderful lake views from the living room and deck. The pool area looked very inviting, however the weather did not cooperate so we switched gears and made the quick walk to the Jet Express for a fun and memorable day at Put-in-Bay.
