Downtown loft apartment in the MORA district(outdoor drinking district), just a block from the Jet Express/water and all of the bars and restaurants on/around Madison Street. This loft is on the second floor, is about 1,200 sf, 2 bed, 1 bath with living room, dining area, kitchen and laundry room. The Crossfit gym on the first floor of this building have early morning classes (as early as 4:45am) that are loud. If you are a light sleeper, this place is not the best option for you.

What makes this space unique is the location and building. Downtown Port Clinton is becoming more and more popular. The building, which has sat vacant for many years, is coming back to life. With a Crossfit gym on the first floor (with loud, early morning classes(as early as 4:45am) that can be heard from the loft) and some residential living space on the second floor.

You will have access to your unit. Can buy passes to the Port Clinton Crossfit gym on the first floor if you would like to attend a class. My sister, Lexis, and her husband, Brett, run it and are great!

Other things to note
With the Crossfit gym on the first floor, they do have early morning classes and classes throughout the day with loud music and heavy weights being thrown around which can be heard/felt from the loft above. If this is a concern, I would encourage you to find another place to stay as this place may not be the best fit for you.

Other things to note
"The District" live entertainment area is set up from mid-May through the end of September offering great views, entertainment, and live music out the front windows of the apartment. During the week, The Ida Rupp Public Library has many kid's entertainment opportunities throughout the summer. Within "The District" and the MORA (Municipal Outdoor Refreshment Area) you can enjoy an adult beverage in the street. The apartment is located adjacent to the stage, so please be aware that the music can be loud during the performances. They are usually over by 10pm. Must be 25 years old or older to book. All guests musts agree to our house rules prior to booking. Please take time to review them in advance and let us know if you have any questions that you would like to discuss before your arrival. The Red Door apartment is not for parties or events. Guests are limited to the people listed in the reservation, unless separate arrangements are made with the hosts.

So much to do in the area. Within walking distance is the Fabulous Docks Beach house water front dining, Mr Eds Sports Bar, Aquarius pizza bar and Off the Rocks Lake view watering hole with live entertainment. Another brief walk over Port Clintons landmark drawbridge will place you at the Jet Express ferry to Put-In-Bay and vibrant downtown MORA area with more live entertainment and countless restaurants. The area boasts several marinas and beaches as well. A drive of 30 minutes or less will take you to World Famous Cedar Point, African Safari Wildlife Park, Marblehead Lighthouse, ferries to Middle Bass, and Kelley's Island as well as Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge & Castaway Bay Waterparks. The pool and marina area are seasonal as are some area attractions & restaurants.

Pool and hot tub are open seasonally, usually Memorial Day-Labor Day. Please reach out if you need confirmation on this.

No lifeguard on duty at pool or beach. All children must be accompanied by adult.

Pool, hut tub, playground, green space and grills are all shared/common space.

Guests must provide their own charcoal for grills and not bring in the unit.

Guests are not permitted to hang any towels outside of condo, specifically on deck railings on walkup.

Other things to note
Air conditioning is a wall unit for the living area and a window unit for the bedroom. A/C is not central air.
The WiFi is through our condo association, so at times it can be spotty.
