Outdoor BBQ/Fire Pit:
No WOOD burning open Bon-fire, it's a bylaw for guest. But you can bring a portable BBQ for outdoor use or use charcoal only on the provided fire pit.

- "Tim was a great host and promptly responded to all inquiries. The property had everything needed for a quiet weekend away. The grill we brought unfortunately didn't work but we were able to cook everything we brought in the toaster oven. The neighbors were all friendly. For a small extra cost, kayaks and canoes are available. The water was smooth and there weren't many people around, it felt like our own private lake. Thank you for a nice weekend, Tim!"

This upper level view is located on the EPIC wine tour this Peaceful relaxing setting on the water's edge of Lake Erie. With dark skies at night (no light pollution) it's perfect for star gazing. A quiet neighborhood, surrounded by wildlife. A birder's paradise. At each end of the 1 km long road is Holiday Beach Conservation Area.
In the area we have the historic town of Amherstburg with Fort Malden, some twenty wineries to visit. A local brewery, just five minutes away, and a distillery.

- "Greg & Lisa's cottage is clean and comfortable. Although it's not a large home, the space is well organized, tastefully decorated, and was perfect for a weekend with my parents & myself. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfortable with several pillows for you to choose your preference. Greg & Lisa are welcoming and excellent hosts. They will take care of your needs but leave you privacy to enjoy your stay. The large windows at the back of the house look out to a breathtaking view - Lake Erie splashes onto the rocks just steps from the back door. Several muskoka chairs and deck furniture provide comfortable places to relax and bask in the view as well. Across the street from Greg & Lisa's cottage is a large swamp area where you are guaranteed to see many types of birds. Step out in the early morning for great photo opportunities of swans, great blue herons, and several others. If you want to relax at the beach, a 10 minute walk will find you at Holiday Beach where the shallow water and sandy bottom are a great place to swim for the whole family. My house is a newly built brick home it is set on approx. .66 of an acre. It consist of 2 levels. the lower unit has 9' ceiling and is approximately 1100 sq ft. The windows are 42 in. in height by 48" ,60", and 72" in width it is an open concept with full kitchen. Main bedroom is 11'x14' it has a king bed or 2 single beds, the second bedroom has 2 double beds, the living room has a queen size futon with 8" thick cushion.

This space is located on the second level, overlooking the restaurant patio below and the Navy Yard Park along the Detroit River. In the winter, just walk out the door to view Amherstburg's beautiful River Lights Festival, which decorate the parks and streets during the Holiday season. In the summer months, you're in the heart of all the action in Downtown Amherstburg.

The main house and the loft unit have its own private entrance, bathroom, kitchen/kitchenette and designated deck/patio area.
Please enjoy your stay within your designated area, which is separated by the concrete stepping stones/fences on the lawn.

There is a ladder on the side of the house with a YELLOW CORD. That can be used to attach to the dock to get in/out the water.
