Located in what has become known as the Monopoly subdivision where the majority of the streets are named after the spaces in the game of Monopoly. Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, visit us and experience the Monopoly subdivision of Amherstburg and all that Historic Downtown Amherstburg has to offer. You will have access to the entire main floor unit to yourself (basement is not included as it is rented separately on a short term basis). This means that both the main unit and the basement unit can be rented at the same time to separate guests. Each unit is self-contained so the main unit does not have access to the basement unit and the basement unit does not have access to the main unit. Driveway is located at the side of the house. The left side of the driveway is designated for use by the main floor guests. The right side of the driveway is designated for use by the basement guests. Please note: there are stairs to climb and there is a potential for noise transfer between the two units. An entry code will be provided 24 hours prior to arrival. Heating and cooling is separately contolled by each unit.

There are exterior security cameras, one located on the front porch and the second one is located above the back deck.

Two bath towels and 2 hand towels are provided in each bedroom.

We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap in the bathroom, laundry detergent and garbage bags.

We also provide complimentary wifi for the guests to enjoy during their stay.

Had everything we needed to call it home for the week. Also loved the monopoly themed decor. A BBQ was the only thing missing. Buy with all the major stores just a short drive away that problem was solved quickly with cheap portable grill. We all agree we would stay here again"

The grill we brought unfortunately didn't work but we were able to cook everything we brought in the toaster oven. The neighbors were all friendly. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfortable with several pillows for you to choose your preference. Greg & Lisa are welcoming and excellent hosts. They will take care of your needs but leave you privacy to enjoy your stay. The large windows at the back of the house look out to a breathtaking view - Lake Erie splashes onto the rocks just steps from the back door. Several muskoka chairs and deck furniture provide comfortable places to relax and bask in the view as well. Across the street from Greg & Lisa's cottage is a large swamp area where you are guaranteed to see many types of birds. Step out in the early morning for great photo opportunities of swans, great blue herons, and several others. If you want to relax at the beach, a 10 minute walk will find you at Holiday Beach where the shallow water and sandy bottom are a great place to swim for the whole family. This two bedroom one bath lake front cottage is located just two miles down river from historic downtown Amherstburg Canada and just 1/2 hour south of the Ambassador bridge. This wine country cottage features a full gourmet kitchen with high end appliances and a beautiful unobstructed view of Lake Erie. Watch the sailboats and freighters go by as you sip wine on the deck, or take a short ride to downtown Amherstburg to enjoy dinner along the river. This is a basement/lower unit within a bungalow house. This means that at any one time, both the upper unit and lower unit can be rented at the same time to different guests. The units are self-contained so the upper unit will not have access to the lower unit and the lower unit will not have access to the upper unit. The heating and cooling is separately controlled by each unit. The lower unit does not have access to a backyard deck.

The entrance door for the basement/lower unit is located in the backyard. The backyard deck and front porch are only used by the guests in the upper unit. The right side of the driveway is designated for guests in the basement unit and the left side of the driveway is designated for the upper unit guests.

There are exterior security cameras, one located on the front porch and the second one is located on above the back deck.

The basement unit features 2 smart TVs, stainless steel fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We also provide a Keurig Coffee machine, toaster, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, utensils and glassware. Towels and bed linens including sheets, pillowcases, duvets, duvet covers, and mattress and pillow protectors are also provided.

Two bath towels and 2 hand towels are provided in each bedroom.

We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap in the bathroom, laundry detergent and garbage bags.

We also provide complimentary wifi for the guests to enjoy during their stay.

My house is a newly built brick home it is set on approx. .66 of an acre. It consist of 2 levels. the lower unit has 9' ceiling and is approximately 1100 sq ft. The windows are 42 in. in height by 48" ,60", and 72" in width it is an open concept with full kitchen. Main bedroom is 11'x14' it has a king bed or 2 single beds, the second bedroom has 2 double beds, the living room has a queen size futon with 8" thick cushion.

- "This rental was amazing very clean the owners were easy to get ahold of the only downfall was the beach was a bit of a mess (i believe patially due to a storm they recenty had and because of the neighbors property being overgrown by weeds) while we were there the neighbors property started to get cleaned up so that was nice and we cleaned up some of the beach area to make it better for playing for our 4 year old. The hot tub had a lot of sand in it again likley due to the storm and the hot tub cover not fitting properly ... but they replaced the hot tub cover during our stay so that should be all good now. We stayed as a multi generation family 5 adults 2 children there was lots of space for everyone and a highchair crib and playpen were available for use if need be! We would deff visit this cottage again !"

The sunroom and the deck are great spots to relax and enjoy the sounds of the water, watching the boats go by or a beautiful sunset. 2 large bedrooms, 2 full baths and 3 indoor sitting areas. The upstairs sitting area has a sofa bed, and can be used as an office during the day and as a 3rd bedroom at night. The kitchen has just about everything you need for cooking and entertaining. The voice activated Alexa device will allow you to play your favourite music !!!
We also have a BBQ with propane.
A variety of coffees, teas, breakfast bars, filtered water are offered complimentary.
We have 2 kayaks on site which could be used to explore the unique habitat of this magnificent land and water intertwine. ( let us know in advance if you are going to use any of them so we can have them ready for you. We offer vests and the emergency kit required by law) but you will need an SUV or a truck to bring them to the boat ramp/dock, 400 m away.

The historic town of Amherstburg with Fort Malden, many great restaurants, bakeries and grocery shopping is within a 10 min drive. The famous Southern Ontario wine route ( EPIC) has about 20 wineries to explore, most of them with their own restaurants. A local brewery and distillery are only minutes away.
