Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage located in the prestigious gated community of Beach O Pines Grand Bend. A short walk to the private beach with great amenities including: a beach volleyball court, indoor entertainment space with ping pong table and outdoor fire-pit area. Enjoy the peaceful private back yard with a short drive to town.

This cottage is rented to families and mature couples (25+) only. No prom, graduation, or bachelor/bachelorette parties. Non smoking. Friday to Friday weekly rentals only from June - August. We allow well behaved dogs crate trained dogs. One dog is permitted per reservation ($100 fee applies). Please ensure that you check off at the time of booking.

- "Pleasantly surprised with how quaint the cottage was. Very quiet and serene setting, a stones throw from the beach and walking distance to shops, coffee houses and restaurants. Truly a very relaxing time, 2 days was not enough and we would happily come back for another stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for dining in, the cottage was very clean and tidy and the host was very helpful with any questions we had. The only misfortune was that the tv remote didn't work so we couldn't watch a family movie one evening when it was raining, but that was a blessing in disguise as it was far better to read, go for long strolls, and enjoy each others company. Wonderful, new, stylish two bedroom main floor condo with all the luxuries of home. We were delighted with the fully equipped stainless steel kitchen including microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and coffee maker for those nights we cooked in while listening to music on Google Home. The hosts were friendly, attentive and responsive from booking to checking in to checking out. Great hosts who put a lot of thought into making this property a welcoming stay. They provided beach & bath towels, comfortable beds with linens, board games, reclining sofas, and a tv in each room complete with Netflix. The condo also included a washer/dryer (with soap and dryer sheets) perfect for a quick load of laundry or drying your beach towels and swimsuits. After sun soaked beach days, we cleaned ourselves off in the gorgeous spa-like bathroom complete with oversized rain shower head. Sitting on the Muskoka chairs on the flagstone deck overlooking the beach was a relaxing way to watch the gorgeous sunsets after enjoying bbq dinners (BBQ, utensils and propane provided). 4. No additional guests are allowed in the home past the indicated number on your booking confirmation. This rule is to prevent large gatherings & parties and be fair to guests who do pay the extra fees. Third-party bookings are not allowed.

5. The property must be maintained in good condition with no excessive mess. Extra cleaning costs may apply if necessary so we can effectively prepare for the next guests.

6. Please note that check-out time is by 11 am and keys must be placed as instructed. I often accommodate late check-outs if I know in advance, but last-minute changes may result in a $50 charge per each additional half-hour stay.

7. All bookings require the Primary guest's photo ID and the complete names of the guests above 18 years of age.

8. Lost keys/fob is a $300 fee to reimburse time, parts, labor, and administration involved.

A binder with area information is also supplied so your stay in Grand Bend is effortless and relaxing.

'A Loft in the Woods' is nestled off Hwy 21 on the Grand Bend side of the Pinery provincial park entrance, across from Rus-Ton campground. We are in an area close to 5 beaches, shopping, weekly flea market and local fruit and vegetable stands.
**Please note we have special restrictions for prime summer weeks in an effort to most effectively utilize our short beach weather rental season. We may be able to accommodate if your shorter stay fills a week.

Located 6 km from the main beach's and 1 km from The Pinery Park entrance You will be staying in the entire lower level. The yard areas and decks are large and comfortable.

Included are all dishes,a full fridge, 2 burner hot plate, Air fryer, Kuereg pod coffee maker, pods not supplied and use of the natural gas BBQ on the upper deck. A fire pit,( wood partially supplied), over 1 acre of lawns and gardens, nothing behind the property but bush and a barn so it's very private.
The suite is available all year round and is for one couple or families with children over the age of 2, parents are responsible and accept all liabilities for children accompanying stay, The reflected pricing is up to 4 guests

Loud parties, illegal drugs and drunken belligerent behavior will not be tolerated. Though having some music on and a few drinks by the fire is welcome. We want our guests to have a relaxing time away vacation from their everyday life.

After 2 persons there Is one double mattress of good quality and 2 good quality sleeping matts.

For more than 4 guests arraignments will need to be made with proprietor.

Day guests are allowed however over night guests would need to be cleared with the owners first with a possible fee required. There is also a very large yard for guests with tents if so desired. Tents not supplied. There is no-one living behind the property so lots of privacy other than a neighbor on each side. There are 7 public beaches within minutes by drive and we are within walking distance of trails for hiking, skiing and snow shoeing. The area also has groomed snowmobile trails when weather permits.

*Note to guests*
We tried allowing pets but unfortunately it did not work out. If your pooch is well trained, behaved and gets along well with other pets and humans you can ask us if we would let them stay with you. If you don't ask and show up with your pet we will not allow you to stay and you will forfeit the right to a refund. Hard-line yes and we are sorry to have to have this rule but unfortunately others have caused us to make this decision. If we do agree to allow a pet on site the owner takes all responsibility for any possible liability or damages caused by the pet.

We do offer discounts for weekly stays.

Primarily the suite is reserved for couples and families.
The area is sanitized between guests and comes with it's own private entrance. Interaction with hosts is limited though we are here to respond to requests. The hot tub is available for use by adults only and guests accept and agree they are responsible for all and any safety precautions while it’s in use. Guests are also responsible to make sure the pumps are off and the lid is closed and secured by its clips. No children under 12 allowed in the hot tub at any time. The small cleaning fee added to the bills helps maintain the tub is sanitary and clean for use.
The yard and deck areas are huge with lots of room around for outdoor enjoyment and games. It is our goal to provide a relaxing space that is as safe as possible to our guests.
The owners do not supply fire wood for the pit. All pit fires must have an adult attending at all times and should be burned down when guests are done with it.
We are on a septic system which means no wipes and such flushed at any time. Only human body waste and supplied toilet papers in the toilets or down the sinks at any time.

That’s why I always make sure it’s 100% clean and very well prepared, in order to have a lovely stay:) I also try to give a late check-out to my guests, and an early check-in, as long as, I finish preparing the place earlier, if I have a check-in, and a check-out, the same day.

Spend some quality, quiet time near the lake with lots of space to enjoy indoors and outdoors! A pack n play crib and crib is provided. Only stairs within the house lead to the basement and has a door at the top.
BBQ grill is provided. You may use our propane tank- if propane runs out please replace the tank at one of many stores nearby.
Firepit is provided, please bring your own wood and make sure the mesh cover is on the fire at all times and put any fire that is unattended out with water from the hose in the backyard (bylaw).
Outdoor areas including but not limited to driveway, side walk and porch are not maintained in the winter. Use at own risk.
