This vacation home is located at 324 Morpeth Street, four blocks to the beach and downtown. This home features three (3) bedrooms and one and a half (1.5)bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay including a dishwasher and microwave. All rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan. The house has a deck in the front and back. There is a fire pit. The BBQ is equipped with 2 propane tanks. We have comforters on all beds, however you will have to bring you own linens. There is one queen bed, one double bed and two twin beds as well as a small roll away suitable for a child.

We love traveling with our pets and we know you do too. It also helps save on kennel fees. We would just ask you clean up after your dog. If there is any damage, we ask you to be upfront and help restore the house the way it was when you arrived.

The Neighborhood:
We are located on the Saugeen River, in Southampton, ON on the Lake Huron shoreline of the Bruce peninsula. Saugeen Shores is an excellent take-off point to the many adventures to be found on the Bruce Peninsula.

Other Things to Note:
Including the Vacation House, we rent five cottages. Our property has approx. 600' of frontage on the shoreline of the Saugeen river. The fishing is great!

House Guidelines:
- Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited within the unit or near exits.
- We do not have onsite staff at the property
- Kindly show consideration for your neighbors by maintaining reasonable noise levels.
- Parties are not permitted.
- Replacement fees will apply for any missing or damaged amenities, utilities, or equipment.
- Towels, sheets, and toiletries are provided for your use during your stay. Please refrain from taking them. Missing items will incur fees.
- If you are accompanied by pets, please pick up after them.

The space
Nature lovers will appreciate this quiet and private retreat on the edge of Southampton. Meander along approximately 2.5 km of private trails through woods and meadows on our 36 acre property. We are 5 minutes from downtown and the main beach where you can watch world famous sunsets.

You will stay in a private guest room with your own bathroom. The private entrance will take you into the kitchenette area where you will find a breakfast bar, counter and sink. A microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, kettle, Keurig coffee maker, and basic dishes are provided for your convenience. The room has a queen bed with memory foam topper, shelves, closet, Roku tv, dvd player (for those who know what that is), a large selection of DVD’s, guide books, some games and a small sofa. Two large windows ensure that the room is bright with a nice view of the woods and field. In the evening you will see the beautiful sunset colours through the trees (unless you are watching it from the beach).

There are 2 dogs (a small poodle/papillon cross and a German shepherd) on the property that inform us when people arrive. We also have chickens that may periodically be free-ranging and come for a visit if you are relaxing outside. Don’t worry, they won’t bother you.

You may be lucky to see some of the wildlife that live on, or pass through our property. These include deer, raccoon, fox, porcupines, rabbits, hawks, owls, wild turkeys, woodpeckers, frogs, and many species of songbirds. A colourful array of wildflowers attract a variety butterflies, bees and other insects. At night you may hear the coyotes yipping as they pass by.

Walking to town will take about 20 minutes or you can explore the area on our available bikes. Just up the road is the Saugeen River where you can fish or rent canoes/kayaks from the local outfitters.

Just offshore from Southampton is the iconic Chantry Island Lighthouse. The island is a bird sanctuary and only accessible by tour. Tours can be booked at the harbour office and include a walk through the keeper’s house and a trip up the lighthouse for a spectacular view of the town and area.

The guest entry is private and you will receive the key code a week before your arrival. The kitchenette is across from the bedroom and bathroom. The space is is small but bright and cheery.

You are welcome to explore the property. Please stay on the trails and do not pick the wildflowers.

Do not approach the German shepherd. She is nervous around new people.

We are within a 30 minute drive to 3 beautiful Provincial Parks: Sauble Falls to the north, MacGregor Point just south of Port Elgin and Inverhuron farther south.

“The Lakehouse” where you will be staying is a three-bedroom two-story unit and features three spacious and well-appointed bedrooms upstairs with beautiful refinished hardwood floors.

(“The Nest” is a one-bedroom unit on the left side of the house that is self-contained. Both units share a laundry room but are otherwise separate.)

The main floor features a brand new kitchen and dining room and a living room.

Directly across the street is a playground and splash pad for the kids. About one block away, you can walk the trails of Fairy Lake.

In beautiful Southampton, Ontario, this 2+ bedroom four season cottage is just steps to the shores of Lake Huron at South Beach. Enjoy a cottage escape to one of Southampton's oldest houses. Built in 1868 this cottage home is centrally located in the quiet historic district only steps from the Saugeen Harbour, Lake Huron beaches and the High Street shops and restaurants. Cottage 1868 comfortably sleeps mature groups up to 6 people during all seasons.

The space
Cottage 1868 is more than 150 years old. It has been almost fully renovated and updated into an elegant and open concept beach house that will sleep up to 6 guests. Mature and respectful groups and families are welcome.

The rooms are bright, clean and boast large new windows and garden doors and new wide-plank hardwood flooring though out. The 3 upstairs bedrooms are fully finished with an eclectic variety of beach and antique furnishings. The two Queen beds and two twin beds are modern and very comfortable. Each bedroom has a ceiling-mounted fan. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and is newly renovated. The main floor space is very open and comfortable. The new windows and large garden doors are fully screened and maximize the breeze that often comes off the lake. Please note there is no air conditioning at this time.

For our Winter guests, the house is heated with a modern forced-air gas furnace. The beds have flannel sheets and down duvets and the bedrooms are very warm and cozy. There is winter parking for up to two vehicles on the parking pad (please note there is no overnight street parking allowed during the winter in Southampton). The roads and sidewalks are well maintained allowing easy car and walking access to the restaurants, shops and lakefront.

The kitchen remains rustic with relatively new full-sized stove, fridge and microwave. It is well appointed with good quality cookware, plates, cutlery, utensils and glassware and for coffee drinkers a Bodem French Press and Keurig machine are available. The kitchen is still in the process of being upgraded and does not currently have a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and dryer in the rear laundry room.

The gardens are large and mostly grass covered. There are several well tended garden beds and mature trees. There is a Napoleon propane BBQ for guests to use, a picnic table and various garden furniture. Two sea kayaks are available for experienced users when the weather is safe and warm.

We look forward to hosting you and making your stay enjoyable and comfortable.

"My place" is a bright, clean, comfortable year round home, that can be your destination, or your base as you discover all that Bruce County has to offer.

This two-story house is nestled amoung mature trees on a quiet dead end street of only 5 houses. Its simple decor and large windows fill the house with natural light, and cool breezes that aim to allow you to relax in a quiet stress free setting, while still being close to lots to do.


While technically in the town of Southampton, the house is located among cottages that have been drawing people to the shores of Lake Huron for over 100 years. And without curbs or sidewalks, it is more of a lane than a street, and you get a real sense you are out of town.

The house has three bedrooms, two with queen sized beds, and a third very large bedroom, the "dorm room" with 4 beds. There is a futon couch in the office/games room, that can also be used as a bedroom.

Southampton is quiet, relaxed and very family oriented, for both young families and older famlies. Outgoing young adults will find a more active social scene a 5 minute drive down the road in Port Elgin, or 20 minutes north at Sauble Beach.

From 431 Balsam a six minute walk takes you to one of the best sand beaches on Lake Huron. Three minutes walk in the oposite direction takes you to the head of the Woodland trail and five minutes further on and you are at the Southampton Tennis club. An 8 minute bike ride along the rail trail or 4 minutes by car and you are in downtown Southampton, with its 1950's look and feel providing boutique shopping and food & drink for when you want to get out and about.

Hampton Hideaway has a modern, open-concept living and dining space with three comfortable bedrooms.

The main bedroom has a king bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom has bunk beds. All beds are outfitted with 600 thread count luxury sheets, and the king and queen bedrooms have ceiling fans and large closets. Bath and beach towels are provided.

Enjoy dining, tanning or relaxing on the back deck in the private backyard, or relax under the cedar trees in the shade of the front yard. HOT TUB COMING JUNE 2025!

The kitchen is fully outfitted with curated dishware and bakeware. Keurig and french press in the coffee bar for coffee lovers, electric kettle for tea lovers. Southampton Beach House is ideally located to take advantage of everything the area has to offer. Blocks to the beach, one block to High St (Southampton's Main St) and all of the great shops and restaurants.

I purchased this 100+ year old house in Southampton in February 2021. From top to bottom the house was renovated and is basically brand new with all new furnishings.

The space
Spacious five bedroom home located only a couple of blocks from High St and the waterfront. Newly renovated space that will allow a larger group to relax and be together under one roof.

During the summer, two large outdoor spaces have been set up to enjoy the warm, starry nights. To the side of the house is a large fenced in area with a fire pit. Off the back of the house (and kitchen) is a large seating area with lounge chairs a bbq and dining table.

PLEASE NOTE: THE HOT TUB REQUIRES AND ADDITIONAL $75 CLEANING FEE. I AM NOT LOCAL AND THE MAINTENANCE/CLEANLINESS IF THE TUB IS VITAL. EVERY GUEST WANTS A CLEAN TUB UPON ARRIVAL, HAVING IT MAINTAINED AND CLEANED FOR EACH GUEST IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN GUARANTEE THAT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

High Street Haven is centrally located in Southampton, near shops & restaurants, Ferry Lake Park and Trail (across the road), and is a 10 min walk from beautiful Southampton beach, boardwalk, Chantry Island Lighthouse. You can see Lake Huron and Iconic Southampton waterfront Flagpole from the end of the driveway.

This charming 1930's 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom, two story house has been completely updated with a chef level kitchen, new appliances, and outdoor landscaping with firepit.

Its the last house on a dead end street, so no neighbors on 3 sides, great privacy and ample parking. The main beach is about a 5 min walk, and walking distance to all amenities.

This cozy and charming 4 season bungalow, nestled on one of the prettiest and most peaceful streets in Southampton, is perfect for a small family or couples getaway from the city, a girls’ weekend, or even a small yoga retreat. Easy walking distance to Bay Street and South Street Beach, the boardwalk, and a few houses from local walking and biking trails. Short drive (2km) to quaint downtown Southampton shops, bakery and restaurants.

The space
The cottage itself is comfortable and modern. It has a pleasant, open concept design with soaring cathedral ceilings, lots of windows and engineered hardwood floors. The 2 bedrooms are bright and very spacious, with plenty of closet space. The sitting room (with day bed), and sunroom, are additional spaces within the cottage that offer a quiet and relaxing experience. It’s lovely to sit on the front or back porches with a morning coffee. There is plenty of seating on the new back deck overlooking the pond and soothing foliage.

Other things to note
The indoor gas fireplace is currently not in working order. There is a fire table in the backyard, as well as bbq (propane is provided for both amenities).
