This location is on a sand point which means you can overtax the water system if multiple showers, dishwasher and laundry are done consecutively. We just spread the shower times out and did not have any issues. Three cars in the driveway is tight but doable. I recommend bringing your own bottled water to drink. We really enjoyed our stay! The space
The hobble is located in a private area of Sauble Beach but a close drive or bike ride to all the excitement and entertainment the beach has to offer. Also a 3 minute walk down the road to the local elementary school with soccer fields, basketball and a playground.

The perfect vacation spot for two families consisting of 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms each have a queen bed and the third room a "kids" room with two sets of single bunk beds.

Everything in this cottage is newly renovated and ensuring cleanliness throughout.

The house lacked lighting, there could easily have been more lamp posts in many rooms. But besides all that, we still enjoyed the quietness, the space, relative proximity to the beach (you still need to take the car to reach it), and the availability of the fire pit. It's an ok house if you don't require too much comfort, but in our opinion the property would benefit from a little love."

Cozy 2 bedroom pet friendly family cottage with additional 8' x 9.5' bunkie in backyard. Baseboard heating system throughout cottage keeps the cottage toasty warm throughout the fall and winter season. Parking in private driveway for 2 vehicles. Short approx. 3 minute walk to beach. 15 minute walk to downtown commercial shopping, restaurant & entertainment district.

The space
Fire pit with a good supply of firewood provided for your stay, deck and patio set in front yard and charcoal BBQ complete with one bag of charcoal briquettes and fire starter sticks is available for your use in back yard.

The TV in the cottage is equipped with a Roku TV device. In order to access any of the streaming services such as Pluto TV, Plex, Netflix, Tubi, CNN. etc. you would need to use your own phone and data as a mobile hotspot. NO WIFI OR INTERNET ACCESS IS PROVIDED WITH THE COTTAGE.

There is also a Bell satellite receiver in the cottage that provides access the major Canadian and U.S. network TV stations. There is also over 100 prerecorded movies saved on the receiver.

There is a separate external bunkie with a Futon and chairs. There is no satellite connection in the bunkie but there is a TV/VCR with a selection of classic family VHS movies and VHS children's shows available.

Four sets of bath towels are provided for your use in the bathroom linen closet. PLEASE NOTE THAT BEACH TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. ALL GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THEIR OWN BEACH TOWELS.

To assist you in preparing for your stay please note that the following additional items are provided for your use during your stay.

Full access to cottage. external 9.5' x 8' bunkie and the entire property with the exclusion of the outdoor external garden / maintenance shed that adjoins the bunkie and the cottage electrical / mechanical utility room .

Other things to note
LIke many cottages in Sauble the water supply is from a private shallow sand point system. The water supply is suitable for washing and typical daily household usage but due to the uncertainty due to variations in water quality from the untreated shallow groundwater system the water should not be considered potable or safe for drinking.

There is a water cooler in the cottage kitchen which I will always provide one fresh 5 gallon bottle of micro filtered purified water at the start of each rental. Additional bottle refills can be obtained from the refill station at the Sauble Valumart for $3.00.

The space
This cottage is one of three cottages located on the property. Each property has its own feel with privacy from the other cottages.

The only common space shared is where the kayaks, paddle boards, outdoor games and sandbox are located.

Guest access
Each cottage has free parking for 2 vehicles. A 3rd vehicle can be parked for 20 dollars per day between May and Labour day.

Access to the cottage requires using 3 steps.

Other things to note
All bookings between July 1 and Labor day must be 7 days long. Reservations are from Friday to Friday

All other reservations can be on any day of the week and up to 28 day long.

Our guest house cabin is nestled in the north end of Sauble Beach, away from the fray of main street but close enough to enjoy it all. Located one block away from the quiet end of the beach and ideally situated at the foot of the Bruce Peninsula for adventure.

Looking for a beach getaway? Whether you want to sit by the fireplace, or relax on the beach and enjoy our stunning sunsets, or go on an adventure, Sauble Beach has it all. Our private two bedroom plus bunkie cottage is located steps to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the town centre. The space
The primary registered guest must be 25yrs or older.

We invite families with kids, and mature adults 25 years of age and older. We offer a 2-night minimum stay.

With the new 2022 Sauble Beach licensing, we can accommodate 3 guests per bedroom, with one guest per bedroom being under 12 yrs old.

These are also comfortable guest capacities for this cozy, pet free, smoke free, 860sq-ft cottage.

Mattresses and 6 pillows have protective covers over them. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING proper size bed sheets, blankets/sleeping bags, pillow cases, and whatever else you may require for sleeping in/on.

WATER BOTTLES: Although we supply a Brita filter pitcher, we suggest you bring a case (or two) of water bottles, as these would be easier for you to take to the beach with you. Some people prefer to drink this over Brita water or tap water.

FOOD: You can choose to bring food with you, otherwise nearby grocery stores are an option.

COOLING UNIT: The living room provides a wall mounted cooling unit (with remote), the main bedroom has a ceiling fan, and the 2nd bedroom has a floor fan.

PARKING: Space for 2 vehicles, plus the car port is also yours to use during your stay at Harmony (if space allows), while respecting items presently stored in there.
..Please do not use the car port if your car is leaking any fluids.
..Please do not park on the front yard to avoid any potential damage to the underground septic system/tank.

CLEAN UP: Please clean up after yourselves. Basic cleaning supplies are supplied.

GARBAGE: Guests are expected to dispose of their garbage and recycles, either by taking it home, or taking it to the local landfill (1249 Sauble Falls Parkway).
..There is a $25 extra charge for guests, for us to dispose of guest's garbage and/or recycles.
..If you are finding you are collecting a lot of garbage, suggestion to dispose of it at the local landfill, half way through your stay.
..Black bears are known to occasionally wander around. Please do not leave anything outside that may attract bears. Do not approach these bears.

YOUNG CHILDREN: Although Harmony welcomes young children, it is not 100% childproof.
..Please bring necessary equipment, locks, and guards.
..Please bring your own playpen, highchair/chair booster, stroller, and whatever else you may require for the safety of your young children.

..Since the main area of the cottage is one level, stairs aren't an issue inside the home. The back door, through the mudroom, does have stairs leading to a spacious backyard.

BEACHES: Approximately 10-15 minute walking distance to a beach. Street entrance at the corner of Southampton Pkwy (#13) and 16th Street South/Silver Lake Road, (walking path picture included with other main pictures). Cars are not permitted in this area. Less than a 5 minute drive to the main Sauble Beach area, including a grocery store, paid parking, and restaurants/food places. There is lots to do downtown Sauble Beach! Another option is to drive 15-20ish min to the Southhampton beach.

BEACH PARKING: All areas in Sauble Beach can be considered paid parking areas, unless they are otherwise noted. Please watch for signage indicating that the area where you are going to park requires you to pay.

GROCERY STORES: There is a No Frills located on the main street in Sauble Beach, otherwise, Southhampton Foodland is only 10 minutes away.
...There is a small store near the cottage, at the corner of Southampton Pkwy (#13) and 16th Street South/Silver Lake Road, called Sago Cheap Smokes. It offers coffee, ice cubes, cold drinks, etc.

FISHING/KAYAKING: Fishing is available at Silver Lake, which is only a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage.
..From the cottage, turn right onto Birch Street, and the first left onto Walker Way (it may not have a street sign). Silver Lake area is at the end of Walker Way. There is an area where you are free to fish.
..Kayaking is also available at Silver Lake (kayaks not supplied).

Other things to note
Please ensure all your guests are registered through Airbnb, prior to your check-in date.

At any time, any damage to the property (including but not exclusive to: garbage removal, and cigarette butts) done by yourself/your guests, will be the primary guest's responsibility to pay the value of replacing/repairing/cleaning/disposal of damaged items. The deposit will also include any pet waste removal, or damage replacement, however, this shouldn't be an issue as it's a pet free cottage.

Harmony is a smoke free cottage. Please smoke outside to keep the cottage air friendly for everyone. Sand filled pails (or ashtrays) are available at the back and front of the cottage. When it's safe to do so, please put your cigarette buts in your garbage bag before disposing of your garbage.

Please respect Harmony Cottage and all its contents. We want to keep it clean, and looking great so that everyone will want to come back again and again!

Items left behind will be donated. If you require something returned, please contact us within 24 hours of your check out time. A shipping fee may be charged.

Welcome to Black Horse Motor Inn located directly across the street from 1858 Caesar Bar and beside Luscious Bakery. You’re just steps away from the main beach and all of the attractions Sauble Beach has to offer.

The cottages are small (350 sq/ft) but have everything you will need including a heated salt water pool, sauna, community fire pit, horseshoes and fitness centre.

The cottage comes with a private patio, kitchen, dining area, queen bed, La Z Boy pullout couch, BBQ, free wifi and parking for 1 vehicle. Please keep in mind, the cottages are small (350 sq/ft) therefore a maximum of 4 people per cottage.

Each cottage has 4 place settings (cups, plates, utensils, mugs), BBQ utensils, microwave, toaster, Keurig, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, oven mitts, pots and pans, apartment size fridge and air-conditioning.

Joe’s Outback Cottage Retreat is a very well maintained cottage with 3 bedrooms ( 2 double, 1 futon double, sofa bed (queen)). 1 bathroom (shower only), tv DVD, Netflix, internet wifi, a/c, outdoor clothes line, propane bbq and fire pit. The spacious backyard is your space to reconnect with nature and unwind in the fresh air. Our cottage is a 2 minute walk to the marina and a 7-9 minute walk to the beautiful sands of Sauble Beach.

The space
May Victoria Day weekend is also available with a 3 night minimum stay.
We rent on a weekly basis only from Saturday-Saturday during peak months July and August.
We are also renting in June and September with a 2 night minimum stay from Thursday-Sunday. If you would like to rent weekly in June or September please contact us directly and we can open up the week if it is available.
