Bright and inviting waterfront/view one story ground level apartment right in the heart of Meaford. Ideal for a romantic getaway or for small families. Public water access directly across the road and a scenic 20 minute drive to Collingwood Ski Hills or Beaver Valley Ski Club. A few steps to the Harbour and a sand or rock beach(depending which way you choose to turn). You can also easily stroll to any of our downtown cuisine and bakeries. Welcome to Hills! We're excited to start your adventure of Meaford and the South Georgian Bay area!
You will feel right at home in this converted dairy building. Hills offers 4 units identified by Hike, Bike, Ski and Paddle. You will be staying in the "Bike" unit: a ground floor, 1 bedroom, pet-friendly apartment with an open kitchen/living/dining area with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Prepare gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Many kitchen staples are provided (e.g. tea, coffee, condiments, food wrap, tinfoil etc.) so you will feel at home. The bar height dining table has seating for 4 and is the perfect place to have dinner followed by a games night. The living room contains a comfy chaise couch and chair to sink into to watch Netflix or read a book while enjoying the time away.
Recently renovated, the apartment is very fresh and welcoming. The bedroom contains a queen-sized bed with an Endy mattress for a relaxing nights sleep. The room has a dresser to store your belongings. The couch in the living room pulls out into a double bed, so another two people can join you. The bathroom features a walk in shower. As the only pet-friendly unit in the building, you furry friends can enjoy the space as much as you do!
Saunter into Hills, grab a cup of joe and chat with fellow travellers and locals about where to plan your next Georgian Bay area adventure. Our shop provides the essential offerings of basic bike repairs and rentals for residents and guests looking to explore.
Guests staying at Hills will undoubtedly want to take in all the Georgian Bay area has to offer. Hills will soon be offering hourly electric bike, pedal bikes, paddle board and e-scooter rentals. We will be partnering with several wineries, tour companies and local guides to help curate a perfect “playcation”. Hills highly recommends contacting our adventure partners, Free Spirit Tours, for some exciting exploration options and packages.
The Meaford area can be enjoyed year-round! Head out for an adventure biking, hiking, boating, or take the short 25 minute drive to Blue Mountain for some skiing. Return and freshen up to take a stroll downtown to one of our favourite restaurants or down to the waterfront and sit and watch the sunset. Meaford has a great dog park and dog beach, so even Fido will feel the love of the town. Retire back to the apartment for an evening of comfort.
The building is across the street from Bighead River which feeds into Georgian Bay. Daily walks around town can find locals fishing in the river or off the docks. We believe in supporting local, and have partnered with the neighbouring Craig Gallery to feature local artists throughout the apartment. All of the soaps and cleaning supplies are provided by The Keep Refillery consisting of all natural, plastic-free products that actually work!
You will have access to the entire apartment and listed amenities, which includes the 1 bedroom, 1 bathrooms, the kitchen, living room and dining room, all for your use.
All the units are managed by our property manager Kylie. She travels all over Southern Ontario so she’s generally not available in person but is only a quick message or phone call away to help you with anything you might need! Most of the time we will not be available to meet with guests but don't hesitate to contact us. We are still getting up and running but someone may be in the store to assist you as well.
Meaford is a four-season playground that has it all: great live theatre and concerts, fresh local food, unique shopping, nature at your doorstep, recreational activities, a beautiful harbour and waterfront campground, and so much more.
We are home to Meaford Hall - a restored 330-seat theatre, concert and cinema venue - plus unique boutiques, delicious eateries, and services of all kinds. Just a few minutes out of the downtown core you'll find acres of rolling countryside, charming historic villages, secluded beaches and unspoiled natural areas.
The views are amazing, the people are friendly, and the opportunities are endless. It’s all happening, right here in Meaford.

Free street parking is available in Meaford! There is a public lot across the street or two municipal lots only one block away**
**During the winter months from November 15 to April 1 Market Square is located at 12 Nelson Street East (a 3 minute walk away) is the only designated parking lot to allow parking from 2am to 6am during the winter months from Nov. 15th – April 1st .
Two rows have been signed in the lot to allow parking during this time, as an ODD row and an EVEN row (which relates to the calendar day). This change will help with proper snow removal and abandoned vehicles. Please take the time to read the sign in the lot and park your car in the right row to avoid receiving a parking ticket and/or having your vehicle towed.

Free parking is available in Meaford on streets or municipal lots. There is a public lot across the street or two municipal lots only one block away. During the winter months from November 15 to April 1 there are two designated overnight parking lots a 3 minute walk away.
To ensure you have a wonderful stay, we’ve equipped this home with a Minut sensor. It monitors noise (but does not record sound), occupancy, temperature and humidity, helping us keep our home and our neighbourhood safe, healthy and comfortable. It notifies us if it gets too loud, to ensure all guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbours are not disturbed.

This adorable home is situated in a quiet neighbourhood on a beautiful 2-acre lot. Designed with a wrap around porch, the most perfect summer days can be spent listening to the nature surrounding you while hosting a little BBQ lunch on the back patio. Welcome to an original, cozy cabin on the shore of Georgian Bay. Newly renovated and all season for your enjoyment and comfort. Experience unstructured views of the Bay, views of the bluffs/Georgian Peaks, and spectacular sunrises and stargazing. Large private lot a 5 min drive from Downtown Meaford & 25 minutes to Blue Mountain Village. Biking/Hiking/X-Country Skiing/Snow Shoeing trails minutes away. Privacy is enhanced by mature trees and a creek.
The cabin is small in square footage, being only 700 square feet, but makes up for its size with a tasteful open concept design.
- The living room has expansive views of the water and front deck access. There are two pull out couches, a coffee table, a TV and TV Stand, and heating/cooling.
- The kitchen/dining room is small but functional with great views of the Bay. There is a full size fridge & freezer, oven/stove, sink, dishwasher and lots of cabinets. The dining table has 4 chairs. We provide a small coffee maker, a toaster, kettle, and other normal kitchen items. There is heating/cooling in the kitchen as well.
- The main bedroom is off the kitchen/dining room with entry through a sliding door. There is a queen bed with side tables, a dresser, and a window with sideyard/Bay views.
- The bathroom is finished in natural tile, with a rain shower, a toilet and a custom vanity & sink. There is a small window with side yard/Bay views.
- The loft is situated above the bathroom and main bedroom. The lofts boasts two twin beds and reading lights. There is a secure railing and a ladder that can be moved to be flush with the wall when not in use and can be slid out when needing to climb up.
The property is situated on a large double lot with many mature trees and lush gardens. There is a creek running through the property. There is approximately 110 ft of shoreline and the cabin is set back from the quiet, private road. There is excellent privacy between the cabin and neighbour's on either side.
There is a fire pit and plenty of seating right off the front deck and close to the waters edge and there are lots of string lights throughout the property to enhance the setting.
I cannot express how stunning the sunrises are in words!!! Enjoy the property for its peacefulness, privacy, and proximity to everything this area has to offer.

Steps to downtown Meaford, and minutes to Georgian Bay, Georgian Trail cycling route, the infamous Trout Hollow Trail, shops and restaurants, beaches, and 25 mins from Blue Mountain. This modern suite is the perfect year-round getaway spot to unwind after a day of exploring the area.
Welcome to Hills! We`re excited to start your adventure of Meaford and the South Georgian Bay area!
You will feel right at home in this converted dairy building. Hills offers 4 units identified by Hike, Bike, Ski and Paddle. You will be staying in the `Paddle` unit: a third floor, 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and open living/dining area with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Prepare gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Many kitchen staples are provided (e.g. tea, coffee, condiments, food wrap, tinfoil etc.) so you will feel at home. The refinished dining table has seating for 4 and is the perfect place to have dinner followed by a games night. The living room contains a comfy sectional couch and a day bed to sink into to watch Netflix or read a book while enjoying time away.
Recently renovated, the apartment is very fresh and welcoming. The bedroom contains a king-sized bed with an Endy mattress for a relaxing nights sleep. The room has a dresser and open closet system to hang your belongings. The day bed in the living room opens up into a king-sized bed, so another two people can join you. The full bathroom features a tub to soak in. Relax on the front balcony on comfortable rocking chairs, enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
Saunter into Hills, grab a cup of joe and chat with fellow travellers and locals about where to plan your next Georgian Bay area adventure. Our shop provides the essential offerings of basic bike repairs and rentals for residents and guests looking to explore.
Guests staying at Hills will undoubtedly want to take in all the Georgian Bay area has to offer. Hills will soon be offering hourly electric bike, pedal bikes, paddle board and e-scooter rentals. We will be partnering with several wineries, tour companies and local guides to help curate a perfect “playcation”. Hills highly recommends contacting our adventure partners, Free Spirit Tours, for some exciting exploration options and packages.
The Meaford area can be enjoyed year-round! Head out for an adventure biking, hiking, boating, or take the short 25 minute drive to Blue Mountain for some skiing. Return and freshen up to take a stroll downtown to one of our favourite restaurants or down to the waterfront and sit and watch the sunset. Retire back to the apartment for an evening of comfort.
The building is across the street from Bighead River which feeds into Georgian Bay. Daily walks around town can find locals fishing in the river or off the docks. We believe in supporting local, and have partnered with the neighbouring Craig Gallery to feature local artists throughout the apartment. All of the soaps and cleaning supplies are provided by The Keep Refillery consisting of all natural, plastic-free products that actually work!
You will have access to the entire apartment and listed amenities, which includes the bedroom, bathroom, the kitchen, living room and dining room, all for your use. Feel free to use the laundry machines. The stairwell to the apartment is shared with the other 2 apartments on the second floor, but only you and those guests will have access to it.
All the units are managed by our property manager Kylie. She travels all over Southern Ontario so she’s generally not available in person but is only a quick message or phone call away to help you with anything you might need! Most of the time we will not be available to meet with guests but don`t hesitate to contact us. We are still getting up and running but someone may be in the store to assist you as well.

We`re 10 minutes from Thornbury and 20 minutes to Blue mountain by car.
Free parking is available in Meaford on streets or municipal lots. There is a public lot across the street or two municipal lots only one block away.**
**During the winter months from November 15 to April 1 Market Square is located at 12 Nelson Street East (a 3 minute walk away) is the only designated parking lot to allow parking from 2am to 6am during the winter months from Nov. 15th – April 1st .
Two rows have been signed in the lot to allow parking during this time, as an ODD row and an EVEN row (which relates to the calendar day). This change will help with proper snow removal and abandoned vehicles. Please take the time to read the sign in the lot and park your car in the right row to avoid receiving a parking ticket and/or having your vehicle towed.

Clean, comfortable. Great beds (even the day bed, which is where I slept). Beautiful patio with immaculate furniture - nice lights for evening outside. We don't have a single hesitation in recommending this well located, bright, welcoming apartment. Communication with owner and property manager was great - we even had a house visit when we couldn't figure out the TV!"

Our spacious 3 bedroom apartment is located in the centre of Meaford on the shores of Georgian Bay. Plenty of "walk to" culinary options, 2 blocks to the beach, theatre/music at Meaford Hall, golf, ski, swim, hike & more!
The Dam Crofter offers loads of amenities 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed and 2 Twin beds, 2 full bathrooms, dining room, full kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge with icemaker. Mudroom with washer & dryer and a large living room with flat screen TV.
It is important to review our house policies prior to booking. Maximum guests is 6. Maximum children is 2 and they must be at least 13 years of age. This property is not suitable for young children.

Welcome to Hills! We're excited to start your adventure of Meaford and the South Georgian Bay area!
You will feel right at home in this converted dairy building. Hills offers 4 units identified by Hike, Bike, Ski and Paddle. You will be staying in the "Ski" unit: a second floor, two bedroom apartment with an open kitchen/living/dining area with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Prepare gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Many kitchen staples are provided (e.g. tea, coffee, condiments, food wrap, tinfoil etc.) so you will feel at home. The refinished dining table has seating for 4 and is the perfect place to have a family dinner followed by a games night. The living room contains a comfy couch to sink into to watch Netflix or read a book while enjoying time away.
Recently renovated, the apartment is very fresh and welcoming. Up a couple of stairs features 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and bunk beds with Endy mattresses for a relaxing nights sleep. The principle bedroom with the queen bed has a dresser with closet combo to hang your belongings. The second bedroom contains a set of twin over full bunkbeds with a separate storage staircase. The full bathroom features a nice tub to soak in and laundry facilities are located in the kitchen.
Saunter into Hills, grab a cup of joe and chat with fellow travellers and locals about where to plan your next Georgian Bay area adventure. Our shop provides the essential offerings of basic bike repairs and rentals for residents and guests looking to explore.
Guests staying at Hills will undoubtedly want to take in all the Georgian Bay area has to offer. Hills will soon be offering hourly electric bike, pedal bikes, paddle board and e-scooter rentals. We will be partnering with several wineries, tour companies and local guides to help curate a perfect “playcation”. Hills highly recommends contacting our adventure partners, Free Spirit Tours, for some exciting exploration options and packages.
The Meaford area can be enjoyed year-round! Head out for an adventure biking, hiking, boating, or take the short 25 minute drive to Blue Mountain for some skiing. Return and freshen up to take a stroll downtown to one of our favourite restaurants or down to the waterfront and sit and watch the sunset. Retire back to the apartment for an evening of comfort.
The building is across the street from Bighead River which feeds into Georgian Bay. Daily walks around town can find locals fishing in the river or off the docks. We believe in supporting local, and have partnered with the neighbouring Craig Gallery to feature local artists throughout the apartment. All of the soaps and cleaning supplies are provided by The Keep Refillery consisting of all natural, plastic-free products that actually work!
You will have access to the entire apartment and listed amenities, which includes the 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, the kitchen, living room and dining room, all for your use. Feel free to use the laundry machines. The stairwell to the apartment is shared with the other 2 apartments on the second and third floors, but only you and those guests will have access to it.
All the units are managed by our cohost Kylie. She travels all over Southern Ontario so she’s generally not available in person but is only a quick message or phone call away to help you with anything you might need! Most of the time we will not be available to meet with guests but don't hesitate to contact us. We are still getting up and running but someone may be in the store to assist you as well.

We are home to Meaford Hall - a restored 330-seat theatre, concert and cinema venue - plus unique boutiques, delicious eateries, and services of all kinds. Just a few minutes out of the downtown core you'll find acres of rolling countryside, charming historic villages, secluded beaches and unspoiled natural areas.
The views are amazing, the people are friendly, and the opportunities are endless. It’s all happening, right here in Meaford.

We're 10 minutes from Thornbury and 25 minutes to Blue Mountain by car.
Free parking is available in Meaford on streets or municipal lots. There is a public lot across the street or two municipal lots only one block away. **
**During the winter months from November 15 to April 1 Market Square is located at 12 Nelson Street East (a 3 minute walk away) is the only designated parking lot to allow parking from 2am to 6am during the winter months from Nov. 15th – April 1st .
Two rows have been signed in the lot to allow parking during this time, as an ODD row and an EVEN row (which relates to the calendar day). This change will help with proper snow removal and abandoned vehicles. Please take the time to read the sign in the lot and park your car in the right row to avoid receiving a parking ticket and/or having your vehicle towed.

Located in Meaford, Ontario. Enjoy what this 2-bedroom house has to offer. Relax in the master bedroom with a Queen bed and ensuite full bathroom; walk out from this room to the deck and enjoy your morning coffee. A second bedroom with 2 twin beds with plenty of space and a separate guest bathroom. Guests can relax comfortably by the fireplace or on a large deck by the outdoor waterfall. The property features a complete modern kitchen with a large island (seats 3) and a large dining table that can seat up to 6 guests. The house is 4-season ready with central air heating and a fireplace for cold winter days. The house has WiFi available for your convenience. We look forward to hosting you at our place.

Georgian Beach Lane is the perfect waterfront getaway for families or a group of friends that want to enjoy each other’s company in a quiet area only 30 min from Blue Mountain. This fabulous property has a renovated large log cabin with spectacular finishes just steps from the water. You’ll find a first floor great room and four bedrooms on the second floor. You can watch the sunrise with your morning coffee on the front porch while taking in the sparkling waters of Georgian Bay.
You’re a 5-minute drive to fantastic eateries and local shopping in Meaford for anything you need. This home is excellent for gatherings around the fire pit and spending time with friends and family in this spacious updated log cabin.
The cabin has fabulous wood accents and a cozy charm that creates an intimate experience. The main floor has plenty of windows for beautiful Bay views and an open-concept layout to stay connected during your stay. As you walk in, you’ll see the flow from the living room, to the dining, and kitchen. Tucked around the corner is a secluded office area to work in while overlooking the yard, as well as a 4-piece bathroom and laundry machines so you can pack light. Upstairs, you’ll find four spacious bedrooms, 2 of which have views of the water to wake up to.
When the beach calls your name, head down to the 65ft private shoreline featuring a natural beach with an overlooking fire pit area and a hot tub off the cottage deck.

The cabin hosts a large kitchen with plenty of counter space for meal preparation. Complete with stainless steel appliances, you’ll feel right at home with everything you need. There is even a dishwasher for easy clean-up! No need to worry about any cutlery - all of the dishes, bakeware, spices, and utensils are provided. Just bring your food and favourite beverages!

The living area has a rustic feel with wood accents, a cozy fireplace, board games, and a TV to catch up on your Netflix binge. It invites conversation or just curling up with a good book.
Bedrooms
The cabin hosts four bedrooms upstairs, two of which have water views. The primary bedroom has a king bed, and you can watch the sunrise from your window as you wake up. The second bedroom hosts a comfortable queen bed with water views. You’ll find a comfortable queen and double bed and a bright interior in the other two bedrooms that face the loft.

- No parties or events permitted.
- Loud music is not allowed outdoors in accordance with municipal by-laws.
- No fireworks at any time.
- Dogs must be leashed when outdoors.
- Any fines issued by a by-law officer (e.g for noise, off-leash pets, fireworks, etc.) will be the responsibility of the guest and will be passed on accordingly.

- Your cleaning fee covers disposal of up to 4 full-sized garbage/recycling bags.

Welcome to Hills! Once known as Hill's Dairy in Meaford, this historic building has been converted into four rental units with an adventure shop. Steps to downtown Meaford, and minutes to Georgian Bay, Georgian Trail cycling route, the infamous Trout Hollow Trail, shops and restaurants, beaches, and 25 mins from Blue Mountain. This modern suite is the perfect year-round getaway spot to unwind after a day of exploring the area.
Welcome to Hills! We're excited to start your adventure of Meaford and the South Georgian Bay area!
You will feel right at home in this converted dairy building. Hills offers 4 units identified by Hike, Bike, Ski and Paddle. You will be staying in the "Ski" unit: a second floor, two bedroom apartment with an open kitchen/living/dining area with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Prepare gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Many kitchen staples are provided (e.g. tea, coffee, condiments, food wrap, tinfoil etc.) so you will feel at home. The refinished dining table has seating for 4 and is the perfect place to have a family dinner followed by a games night. The living room contains a comfy couch to sink into to watch Netflix or read a book while enjoying time away.
Recently renovated, the apartment is very fresh and welcoming. Up a couple of stairs features 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and bunk beds with Endy mattresses for a relaxing nights sleep. The principle bedroom with the queen bed has a dresser with closet combo to hang your belongings. The second bedroom contains a set of twin over full bunkbeds with a separate storage staircase. The full bathroom features a nice tub to soak in and laundry facilities are located in the kitchen.
Saunter into Hills, grab a cup of joe and chat with fellow travellers and locals about where to plan your next Georgian Bay area adventure. Our shop provides the essential offerings of basic bike repairs and rentals for residents and guests looking to explore.
Guests staying at Hills will undoubtedly want to take in all the Georgian Bay area has to offer. Hills will soon be offering hourly electric bike, pedal bikes, paddle board and e-scooter rentals. We will be partnering with several wineries, tour companies and local guides to help curate a perfect “playcation”. Hills highly recommends contacting our adventure partners, Free Spirit Tours, for some exciting exploration options and packages.
The Meaford area can be enjoyed year-round! Head out for an adventure biking, hiking, boating, or take the short 25 minute drive to Blue Mountain for some skiing. Return and freshen up to take a stroll downtown to one of our favourite restaurants or down to the waterfront and sit and watch the sunset. Retire back to the apartment for an evening of comfort.
The building is across the street from Bighead River which feeds into Georgian Bay. Daily walks around town can find locals fishing in the river or off the docks. We believe in supporting local, and have partnered with the neighbouring Craig Gallery to feature local artists throughout the apartment. All of the soaps and cleaning supplies are provided by The Keep Refillery consisting of all natural, plastic-free products that actually work!
You will have access to the entire apartment and listed amenities, which includes the 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, the kitchen, living room and dining room, all for your use. Feel free to use the laundry machines. The stairwell to the apartment is shared with the other 2 apartments on the second and third floors, but only you and those guests will have access to it.
All the units are managed by our cohost Kylie. She travels all over Southern Ontario so she’s generally not available in person but is only a quick message or phone call away to help you with anything you might need! Most of the time we will not be available to meet with guests but don't hesitate to contact us. We are still getting up and running but someone may be in the store to assist you as well.
Meaford is a four-season playground that has it all: great live theatre and concerts, fresh local food, unique shopping, nature at your doorstep, recreational activities, a beautiful harbour and waterfront campground, and so much more.
We are home to Meaford Hall - a restored 330-seat theatre, concert and cinema venue - plus unique boutiques, delicious eateries, and services of all kinds. Just a few minutes out of the downtown core you'll find acres of rolling countryside, charming historic villages, secluded beaches and unspoiled natural areas.
The views are amazing, the people are friendly, and the opportunities are endless. It’s all happening, right here in Meaford.
Almost everything is within walking distance! The local grocery store is about a 5 mins drive away.
We're 10 minutes from Thornbury and 25 minutes to Blue Mountain by car.
Free parking is available in Meaford on streets or municipal lots. There is a public lot across the street or two municipal lots only one block away. **
**During the winter months from November 15 to April 1 Market Square is located at 12 Nelson Street East (a 3 minute walk away) is the only designated parking lot to allow parking from 2am to 6am during the winter months from Nov. 15th – April 1st .
Two rows have been signed in the lot to allow parking during this time, as an ODD row and an EVEN row (which relates to the calendar day). This change will help with proper snow removal and abandoned vehicles. Please take the time to read the sign in the lot and park your car in the right row to avoid receiving a parking ticket and/or having your vehicle towed.

Spend the day exploring and come home to this fully equipped space to relax. Steps from the beach and trails, and minutes from the centre of town. Great restaurants, harbour, Meaford Hall, the Bruce Trail and ski hills. Talk to us about a custom adventure experience. We love dogs! For your furry friend, there's a fenced in leash free dog park steps from our place and a leash free beach at the park down the street. That same park and its trails are leash free from November - April.
The space
This new two bedroom space is bright and roomy. Located on a quiet side street surrounded by mature trees, privacy and relaxation begin as you pull up the driveway to your parking spot. Easily unload next to the side entrance and use the entry hall for bikes, water toys, and other items. A few steps further and you enter the bright spacious living area. Hi speed internet, smart TV, and plenty of room to stretch your legs. Create delicious food in a fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and stove. Grab some beach towels and hit the beach for a swim or lay in the sun. Sand in your shorts? No problem, just toss your dirty laundry in the machine and you're ready to go! The bathroom has a tub/shower combo so you can soak after a long day of hiking or have a quick shower before heading out. The first bedroom offers a super comfy Queen bed and lots of places to stow your clothing. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be brought together for a cozier sleep. Lots of room here for clothes storage as well. Each bedroom has two above ground windows and privacy glass doors for lots of natural light.

You have access to the entire apartment including your own laundry machines in the space. Outside your door there is a fenced in courtyard with patio lighting where you have full privacy to sit outdoors.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
1. This is not a private secluded property. The neighbours are close. Guests MUST respect the neighbour property line at all times.
2. Noise bylaw in place and strictly enforced. Discretion for the neighbours is requested at all times. Quiet hours are from 11pm. Guests subject to removal.
3. Maximum 1 dog permitted. No undeclared pets. Pet fee shall apply. Dog MUST be leashed at all times (risk of coyotes)
4. Internet strength is not guaranteed. We are remote and internet is not like city standard. We encourage our guests to relax and unwind and enjoy the outdoors. After all, you are at the cottage! Please do not book if you do not feel comfortable with this. Thank you for understanding.
5. The cottage is on well water and septic. Sometimes discolouration may occur, this is normal when water is not used often. You simply need to run the taps for 5-10 mins until it clears. Absolutely no tampons (inserts or applicators) or large amounts of toilet paper to be flushed. Do not put food scraps, grease, or cooking oil down the drain. Please be conscious to conserve water.
6. As we are in the country, there is wildlife as to be expected, deer, raccoons, coyotes. Please do not leave food outside or overnight.

INSECTS: Due to it being a rural property there are more bugs outdoors than one would encounter in a city environment (sometimes worse at different points of the year)! We recommend bringing bug spray and comfy pants / longer sleeves for later evenings spent outdoors to ensure you are able to still enjoy your time to the fullest!
FURNITURE: Guests are expected to return the home in the exact same condition as it was given to you. Please DO NOT MOVE furniture, decor pieces, bar cart or other. PLEASE Return blankets and pillows where you found them. This creates extra cleaning time for our cleaner. Your cleaning fee covers standard cleaning only. If property is left in excessively dirty or furniture/decor moved, extra cleaning fee will charged to guests to compensate our cleaning staff. Thank you for understanding.

Located in the sweet waterside town of Meaford Ontario, a four-season hidden gem destination that has it all: great live theatre and concerts, fresh local food, unique shopping, nature at your door step, a beautiful harbour, the Bruce Trail, skiing, cycling, golf and so much more.

Secluded property with lots of privacy, central to many attractions with gorgeous night sky for stargazing and northern lights. 2.5km from small sandy beach (Leith) with a bathroom and picnic tables, rocky beach is even closer (Ainsley Woods) and larger sandy beach with playground is 7 minute drive away (Hibou Conservation Area). Our guests have explored from Tobermory, Lions Head and Wiarton, to Sauble Beach, and over to the Town of the Blue Mountains, Blue Mountain Village, Metcalfe Rock, Old Baldy (Kimberley) just to name a few local attractions. Numerous hikes and waterfalls in the area! 15 minutes to all amenities in Owen Sound - restaurants, grocery stores etc. Harrison Park and Inglis falls are also at edge of Owen Sound. 13 min drive to short hike to see rock cliffs at Boyd’s Crevices. Hiking, fishing, beaches, local entertainment and festivals, amazing views, all within travel distance of this great home base. RV was entirely renovated in 2024. Note that we have not yet found a suitable internet provider but you can walk about 20 metres up a steep-ish path and connect to our house internet. Most folks get cell phone reception at the RV. Our home is 100 metres from the RV, but you cannot see it - there is a heavily treed steep hill in between. You will access the RV from a separate driveway. We are there when you need us but won’t bother you if you don’t. Note there is a fairly large pond about 20 metres from the RV - children must be supervised at all times for safety. The pond is nice for viewing wildlife - frogs, birds etc.
The RV kitchen includes propane stove, microwave, double sink (camper size), camper sized fridge with freezer, dishes and cutlery. Dish soap and cloths are provided along with paper towel. Bath towels are provided with washcloths and a hand towel, please bring your own beach towels. There is a drying rack for them outside. Large barbecue with tools is provided as well as a firepit. Please bring your own firewood - it is available for purchase just down the road. You will have full access to the lower 3 acres or so of our property - which includes treed areas and open grassy area for play. Board games are in the RV for rainy days, as well as a DVD player and a variety of DVD’s. There is room for a playpen if you have a young person - we don’t yet have one to provide, waiting to see if there is much demand. No high chair yet either - also waiting to see if needed.

While the area at first is difficult to find, Janette was eager to help us and we were able to locate her within minutes. Upon arrival herself and her husband greeted us with big smiles. Despite us being “city people” we felt welcome in their home. After a brief walk through of her extremely clean home, she wished us well and provided us our space. We interacted with her friendly horses, her friendly dogs and her chickens that gave us fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. I could go on forever about how amazing our short stay was, but i’ll sum it up. Amazing property, amazing owners, amazing garden amazing animals. Great for people with a love for pets, and nature. Enjoy my comfortable, cozy cabin with a beautiful water view! Close to the Massie Hills x-country skiing trails, VERY close to Bruce Trail & 10 mins away from Owen Sound. Quick trip to Meaford, Thornbury & Blue Mountain. 1.5 hr drive to Cyprus Lake & Tobermory. This is perfect for those that enjoy the outdoors but want a place to relax warm up between adventures. The cabin is located on a 100 ac farm with trails for you to explore! Bring your skates, weather permitting, you can enjoy the pond!
The space
The farm is an active operation but in the winter very quiet for guests to explore and enjoy. I have hiking trails on the property but we are also very close to the Bruce Trail and Massie Trails.
The cabin is very well insulated, heated and has the necessities needed! Pull out couch with other seating area to relax and read. Fridge & freezer, slow cooker, induction cook top, microwave, water dispenser and cooking utensils are supplied.

This is an experience for those that want to really getaway from the busyness of life and completely relax. There is no wifi in the cabin and limited cell service on other parts of the property. The outhouse is about 30 feet from the cabin.
I have a lot of experience with long distance hiking and thru hiking on the Bruce Trail so feel free to ask me for suggestions or guidance! I love the Bruce Trail and the area I live in.

You will feel right at home in this converted dairy building. Hills offers 4 units identified by Hike, Bike, Ski and Paddle. You will be staying in the "Paddle" unit: a third floor, 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and open living/dining area with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Prepare gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Many kitchen staples are provided (e.g. tea, coffee, condiments, food wrap, tinfoil etc.) so you will feel at home. The refinished dining table has seating for 4 and is the perfect place to have dinner followed by a games night. The living room contains a comfy sectional couch and a day bed to sink into to watch Netflix or read a book while enjoying time away.
Recently renovated, the apartment is very fresh and welcoming. The bedroom contains a king-sized bed with an Endy mattress for a relaxing nights sleep. The room has a dresser and open closet system to hang your belongings. The day bed in the living room opens up into a king-sized bed, so another two people can join you. The full bathroom features a tub to soak in. Relax on the front balcony on comfortable rocking chairs, enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
Saunter into Hills, grab a cup of joe and chat with fellow travellers and locals about where to plan your next Georgian Bay area adventure. Our shop provides the essential offerings of basic bike repairs and rentals for residents and guests looking to explore.
Guests staying at Hills will undoubtedly want to take in all the Georgian Bay area has to offer. Hills will soon be offering hourly electric bike, pedal bikes, paddle board and e-scooter rentals. We will be partnering with several wineries, tour companies and local guides to help curate a perfect “playcation”. Hills highly recommends contacting our adventure partners, Free Spirit Tours, for some exciting exploration options and packages.
The Meaford area can be enjoyed year-round! Head out for an adventure biking, hiking, boating, or take the short 25 minute drive to Blue Mountain for some skiing. Return and freshen up to take a stroll downtown to one of our favourite restaurants or down to the waterfront and sit and watch the sunset. Retire back to the apartment for an evening of comfort.
The building is across the street from Bighead River which feeds into Georgian Bay. Daily walks around town can find locals fishing in the river or off the docks. We believe in supporting local, and have partnered with the neighbouring Craig Gallery to feature local artists throughout the apartment. All of the soaps and cleaning supplies are provided by The Keep Refillery consisting of all natural, plastic-free products that actually work!

You will have access to the entire apartment and listed amenities, which includes the bedroom, bathroom, the kitchen, living room and dining room, all for your use. Feel free to use the laundry machines. The stairwell to the apartment is shared with the other 2 apartments on the second floor, but only you and those guests will have access to it.

Free parking is available in Meaford on streets or municipal lots. There is a public lot across the street or two municipal lots only one block away. During the winter months from November 15 to April 1 there are two designated overnight parking lots a 3 minute walk away.
To ensure you have a wonderful stay, we’ve equipped this home with a Minut sensor. It monitors noise (but does not record sound), occupancy, temperature and humidity, helping us keep our home and our neighbourhood safe, healthy and comfortable. We have 96 acres and are located on the rail trail going from Shelbourne to Owen Sound. This trail is used by snowmobilers, bikers, dirt bikes, ATVs, horses n even the odd dog sled.

If you have timed it out right you can pop a coffee pod into the Keurig and climb back into bed to witness one of our breathtaking sunrises. An amazing start to the day before you head out on whatever adventures await you.

A charming Edwardian home, situated across from the Big Head River in the heart of Meaford. Walk to town, bike the Georgian Trail, hike along the river, enjoy the local brewery, pubs and shops. Steps to Georgian Bay, 20 minutes to the ski hills and cross country trails.
The space
There is one large bedroom with queen bed & views of the garden. There is a dedicated bathroom located next to the bedroom. It is not an en suite. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds overlooking the garden/pool with a private washroom across the hall. There is also a fabulous bunkie with a sleeping loft, in the garden, if anyone felt like sleeping there! Access to the washroom is in the house! The property is 1/2 acre and is across from the river and a short walk to the main street!

Guests are welcome to sit on the front porch with their morning coffee or in the front turret style living room when the weather is chilly. The pool area is available at the discretion of the host during the summer. The normal hours for guest access is 12-4pm with some negotiation with the host possible. Guests must not swim alone and are asked to provide their own beach towels if possible and to avoid glass around the pool/gardens!

I am always up for a chat on the porch and some advice about the area! It's always great to meet new travellers along the road of life!

There is a great new coffee spot called Savvy just down on Berry St beside the art gallery. Station 87 is new restaurant open 7 days a week until midnight! There is Meaford Bikes beside the coffee shop if you want to rent bikes to ride the Georgian Trail.

The space
Completely renovated camper located on a well treed 7 acre property. 12 minute drive to Owen Sound where groceries, restaurants and tourist attractions are readily available. Host lives on the property but in a separate area of the property. We will not bother guests but are there when you need us!

Children must be supervised around the pond which is about 30 metres from the camper. Tap water not for drinking but drinking water is supplied.

The house is a 142 year old farmhouse with a convenient 2 minute drive to town, yet still situated on 15 private acres. The land backs up to the Stone Tree golf course.

This brand new two bedroom space is bright and roomy. Located on a quiet side street surrounded by mature trees, privacy and relaxation begin as you pull up the driveway to your parking spot. Easily unload next to the side entrance and use the entry hall for bikes, water toys, and other items. A few steps further and you enter the bright spacious living area. Hi speed internet, smart TV, and plenty of room to stretch your legs. Create delicious food in a fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and stove. Grab some beach towels and hit the beach for a swim or lay in the sun. Sand in your shorts? No problem, just toss your dirty laundry in the machine and you're ready to go! The bathroom has a tub/shower combo so you can soak after a long day of hiking or have a quick shower before heading out. The first bedroom offers a super comfy Queen bed and lots of places to stow your clothing. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be brought together for a cozier sleep. Lots of room here for clothes storage as well. Each bedroom has two above ground windows and privacy glass doors for lots of natural light.

The ground level apartment is a charming addition to a turn of the century brick historical home.
Beautiful Views of Georgian Bay can be soaked in from the comfy rattan swivel chairs in living room or while whipping together a meal in the kitchen.
Free Public access to the water and picnic tables are directly across the road.
The apartment is separate from the rest of the house, with it's own separate entrance right at the front of the house. Although it is attached to the main home the apartment is completely it’s own.

Welcome to Hills! Once known as Hill's Dairy in Meaford, this historic building has been converted into four rental units with an adventure shop. Steps to downtown Meaford, and minutes to Georgian Bay, Georgian Trail cycling route, the infamous Trout Hollow Trail, shops and restaurants, beaches, and 25 mins from Blue Mountain. This modern suite is the perfect year-round getaway spot to unwind after a day of exploring the area.
The space
Welcome to Hills! We're excited to start your adventure of Meaford and the South Georgian Bay area!
You will feel right at home in this converted dairy building. Hills offers 4 units identified by Hike, Bike, Ski and Paddle. You will be staying in the "Ski" unit: a second floor, two bedroom apartment with an open kitchen/living/dining area with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Prepare gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Many kitchen staples are provided (e.g. tea, coffee, condiments, food wrap, tinfoil etc.) so you will feel at home. The refinished dining table has seating for 4 and is the perfect place to have a family dinner followed by a games night. The living room contains a comfy couch to sink into to watch Netflix or read a book while enjoying time away.
Recently renovated, the apartment is very fresh and welcoming. Up a couple of stairs features 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and bunk beds with Endy mattresses for a relaxing nights sleep. The principle bedroom with the queen bed has a dresser with closet combo to hang your belongings. The second bedroom contains a set of twin over full bunkbeds with a separate storage staircase. The full bathroom features a nice tub to soak in and laundry facilities are located in the kitchen.
Saunter into Hills, grab a cup of joe and chat with fellow travellers and locals about where to plan your next Georgian Bay area adventure. Our shop provides the essential offerings of basic bike repairs and rentals for residents and guests looking to explore.
Guests staying at Hills will undoubtedly want to take in all the Georgian Bay area has to offer. Hills will soon be offering hourly electric bike, pedal bikes, paddle board and e-scooter rentals. We will be partnering with several wineries, tour companies and local guides to help curate a perfect “playcation”. Hills highly recommends contacting our adventure partners, Free Spirit Tours, for some exciting exploration options and packages.
The Meaford area can be enjoyed year-round! Head out for an adventure biking, hiking, boating, or take the short 25 minute drive to Blue Mountain for some skiing. Return and freshen up to take a stroll downtown to one of our favourite restaurants or down to the waterfront and sit and watch the sunset. Retire back to the apartment for an evening of comfort.
The building is across the street from Bighead River which feeds into Georgian Bay. Daily walks around town can find locals fishing in the river or off the docks. We believe in supporting local, and have partnered with the neighbouring Craig Gallery to feature local artists throughout the apartment. All of the soaps and cleaning supplies are provided by The Keep Refillery consisting of all natural, plastic-free products that actually work!

Tiny home situation 10 min to Thornbury and 10 min to Meaford, and 20 min from Blue Mountain Village, nestled a country/residential area. Has all the basic comforts including spacious 3 piece bathroom. Close drive to beaches and many hikes and cross country ski trails in the area. It is also a 15 minute drive from Beaver Valley Ski Club and a number of different cideries. Shared heated pool available for the summer months.

The space
This space is located in a country residential area. Parking is on the left at the main house (where host lives). It is a 30 second walk from parking. The bunkie is close to main house - while still maintaining a lot of space between. We do have neighbours - the horses are about 2 acres away, and the other neighbor is an acre away with a forest line in between. To the left is farmland and then the escarpment.
It’s a tiny house: it’s 10 by 12 feet for the living room/kitchen and the same for the bedroom upstairs plus a full size bathroom.
It’s tall people friendly with the ceiling being 12 feet high except in the bedroom which is a slanted roof so about 8 feet at the sides and 10 at the center.
Bathroom is 4 by 8 and three piece (toilet, bathtub/shower).
I have a dog and cat that dwell in the property. So while your dogs are welcome they may encounter mine.
Leaving dogs unattended can cause damage to any short term rental.
If you plan to leave your dog solo, please clear it with me first.
There are two fire outs on-site: one in front of the tiny house and one tucked in the tree line marked by pylons.
You must provide your own wood, kindling and newsprint.
The property is high in the escarpment in the snow capital of Ontario. That being said we can get huge amounts of snow and heavy winds. It can make snow clearing a challenge but I work as diligently as I can to keep things clear for you with mutual communication. Please know I try to be sure you don’t have to shovel but it is a possibility.
The farmer behind me spreads manure once every two years. I usually give a discount if your booking date lands in that.

Guests can access the bunkie, the space in front of the tinyhouse and walk in the forest line. Please stay off of my back deck:)
The fire pit behind my house is for my personal use but you can request to use it.
Knock on my front door but my preference is to text/call if you need help.
Other things to note
What’s in the kitchen: small fridge, large toaster oven, two burner stove set, cutlery, pots/pans, cups, small coffee machine and electric kettle. And an older bbq outside.
Two bath towels are provided but not beach/pool towels. I have some basic things on site for grooming as well: soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Most basic things are taken care of. It is a tinyhouse and has a minimalistic kitchen set up.

Minutes from beautiful Georgian Bay, down the road from the Bruce Trail hiking entrance, local public and private ski hills, and some of Ontario's best restaurants, while feeling like you've left the rest of the world behind.

*Please note*— we will be accepting bookings with a maximum of two people for the winter season.
The cabin can sleep up to four people with the king size bed in the loft and the full size pullout sofa, however we will only be offering 2-person stays for the winter months due to the limited square footage inside the cabin. Please inquire if you have any questions. Thank you!

Welcome to “The Little House”. The home is centrally located in the town of Meaford. Walking distance to all amenities of the downtown area. Shops, parks, harbour, restaurants, bars, library and more…Blue Mountain Resort is a 25 min drive for resort activities and the village. Tobermory is a 1.5 hour drive from the home and is a popular destination for day trips. The house has been fully renovated with almost everything being new. It’s a smaller cozy home to enjoy your getaway.
The space
Parking is available for 2 vehicles. Hot tub and Sauna are included with the rental. Both need to be respected for proper use. Additional charges will be added to misuse. If the hot tub water needs to be changed a $150 fee will be added and notified to Airbnb for support. Please be respectful
Guest access
Access to the house is granted for use other than areas that have been locked by host. These areas include outside shed, basement storage area, upstairs bathroom vanity and upstairs bedroom closet. Please be respectful

the hot tub is limited to being hot water only. the jets are not working but the tub still circulates and is heated and peaceful
