3. MacGregor Point Provincial Park (30min drive) recommend the Tower Trail with good chance to see wildlife. Huron Fringe Trail offers good opportunity to see birds (must go early in the morning)
4. Waterfalls of Grey Bruce: visit three incredible falls located near Owen Sound (1hr drive) - Indian Falls, Jones Falls, and Inglis Falls. A must see for visitors to the area with opportunity to get up close to Jones Fall.
5. Sauble Beach: touristy attractions; highlight is the annual Sandfest in July, a fun weekend of live music, children's activities, sandcastle building, and classic car show, (50min drive).

The home was built circa1875 and is an example of Italianate Renaissance architecture. It is full of history as one of Kincardine's largest and oldest homes, located in the core of town, minutes walk to the beach. Original details remain throughout the home. Bathrooms and kitchen have been updated to provide a luxury experience within a historic home. The backyard has a beautiful outdoor pool and private patio space.

Our house rules: not suitable for infants under 2, primary renter must be 30yrs or older, no smoking, no parties, no pets.
Young families are welcome to stay at Kincardine House. It's the perfect set up for 2 families, or an extended family holiday. Please note however, the house has not been baby proofed, and there are no safety gates on the stairs for toddlers.

Overall, this is an excellent property in a very good location (quiet street but close to downtown). We would stay again."

This quaint cabin is located between MacGregor Point Provincial Park and Inverhuron Provincial Park. Birders paradise located near the Bruce Rail Trail on Great Lakes Trail, a popular cycling road. Rustic glamping for the outdoorsy who enjoy some comforts.

No electricity or plumbing at this back country style retreat. Water is provided for dishes, camp shower and to extinguish fire when burn bans are not in effect. Campers will be notified of burn bans prior to arrival. As is traditional in back country camping, there is a thunder box for toilet. Also note this property is not fully accessible to all - walk from car to cabin is approximately 150 paces and terrain is not 100% flat. There is also a small ladder to climb to the sleeping loft and reduced head clearance that might be uncomfortable for those over 6' tall.

The north Pier and beach is right out your sliding patio doors. We personally gutted the house and rebuilt the interior over a period of 2 years. Enjoy the pristine sandy beach and stunning views from this newly built (2024) home directly on Lake Huron. Ideal for those seeking a tranquil respite. The Huron House offers plenty of privacy. Located at the end of a road and on its own 285 feet of beautiful private Lake Huron frontage. The north end of the property has a cozy fire pit and sitting area. An outdoor snug lounging area and two tier sun decks are situated at the middle of the property nearby the house. Towards the southern end of the property is the Beach Shed area housing beach chairs, umbrellas and kayaks. Wooden walkways connect all areas of this property.

Huron House is three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Located on the shores of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada, the area features plenty of recreational opportunities for hikers, birdwatches, beachgoers, and winter sport enthusiasts all-season long. The cottage is located about 10 Minutes from Kincardine and has restaurants, bars, brewery, large sand beaches, historical sites and in the summer Saturday night bagpipe parade. In the other direction you have Tiverton (7 Min) and Port Elgin (25 Min) with even more stores, shops, and restaurants. Everything is accessible by Highways 21 & 23. swimming, and more.

Located off of Highways 21 & 23, the space is just minutes outside of the towns of Tiverton, Port Elgin, and Kincardine. The cottage is best reached by car, with free parking available for guests. Once you reach the lodge, guests can explore the area on bike, foot, skis, or snowmobile. The space is ideally located near to many grocery stores, shops, and restaurants for your convenience.

You are staying in a friendly and peaceful residential area and we kindly ask you to respect the community, environment, and your surrounding neighbors. Please monitor your noise levels at all times. Quiet Hours are in place from 11:00pm - 8:00am.

No electricity or plumbing at this back country style retreat. Water is provided for dishes, camp shower and to extinguish fire when burn bans are not in effect. Campers will be notified of burn bans prior to arrival. As is traditional in back country camping, there is a thunder box for toilet. Also note this property is not fully accessible to all - walk from car to cabin is approximately 150 paces and terrain is not 100% flat. There is also a small ladder to climb to the sleeping loft and reduced head clearance that might be uncomfortable for those over 6' tall.

Because of this, though the house does get professionally cleaned between visits. Those will animal allergies should make note that there is a chance of allergens still being present.

Our neighbours to the north do run a daycare from home during the week so at times there may be a bit of noise in the neighbouring backyard.

Welcome to Sunset Peek! Located about a block and a half from both the beach and the town amenities, you can walk to everything! Our hometown hideaway is a 3 bed, 2 bath bungalow that we are thrilled to share with others. The location offers walkable access to beaches, restaurants and shops, tennis courts, a children's playpark, and the marina. The home is on a quiet lane and has a large deck and grass yard. From here you can take a PEEK at our famous sunsets with our partial lake view!

The space
The main floor includes a mudroom with washer and dryer, an eat-in kitchen with large table, bench and chairs, a livingroom with gas fireplace, 55" LG smart TV, a large, brand new sectional (please be careful!), and 2 recliners. On this level are 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The basement offers a 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds, a 2nd VERY SMALL bathroom and sitting area with TV and pull out sofa bed for additional sleeping. The house is located on a quiet lane. It has a large deck with BBQ and a grass area for playing.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire house, deck, driveway and lawn area.

Our home is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave, washer and dryer. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking and baking items, and staples such as sugar, coffee, tea, salt and pepper. Bed linens, pillows, towels, kitchen linens are available. PLEASE NOTE: The 3 bdrms accommodate 6 guests comfortably and privately. The queen sofabed downstairs is intended for kids/overflow guests only and is not in a private space! ALSO TO NOTE: The 2nd bathroom in the basement is very, very small. It's rare to get 2 bathrooms in a Kincardine cottage, so it's a bonus, but it is SMALL. There are a couple of beach chairs, but please bring your own beach towels and any other items such as toys, blankets, coolers that you like to have at the beach!

Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron, five minutes from Kincardine, this lovely waterfront secondary unit offers water access, incredible views and the relaxing sound of waves lapping (or crashing!) on the shore. Lots to do and see with great access to amenities (2 bikes & 2 kayaks included), set right on the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail with the new KIPP (Kincardine to Inverhuron Provincial Park) trail at the top of the street.

The space
This is the lower level of a duplex with the owner occupying the upper unit (may or may not be there). Comfortable and well-equipped with spacious living areas inside and out with lake views from both. You have private outdoor space with a firepit and use of the entire property for games (cornhole, croquet, bocci ball, volleyball & badminton available). Lots of fun to be had in this family friendly neibhourhood -2 nearby parks and trails at your door. Lake access with use of 2 kayaks included. Please note it is a rocky beach - beautiful sand beaches are a 5 minute drive or 20 minute bike ride on the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail.

Your private outdoor area includes a comfortable lounge/dining area with outdoor lighting, plus a grassy area with a fire pit. Guests are also welcome to use the large grassy front lawn for games like frisbee, corn hole, bocci ball, volleyball, badminton, and croquet (all provided). Guests also have access to a waterfront deck and fire pit - all beaches are public in the area but you usually have it to yourself!

There are lots of great options for activities in the area for walking, hiking, biking and beaches: Waterfront Carriage Trail with direct access from the property, Stoney Island Conservation is 1 kil away, Inverhuron Provincial Park (5mins by car or 20mins by bike), as well as beautiful trails and beaches in Kincardine, just 5 minutes away. Two neighourhood parks are within easy walking distance and the house sits on the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail so biking is safe and easy in either direction....Inverhuron trails and beaches one way and Kincardine town, beaches, and trails in the other.

Located across the street from Lake Huron shores, evenings are best spent here watching lake sunsets at the end of the street, pingpong on the huge screened-in porch, and camp fires in the backyard. This 4 bedroom home (1 king, 2 queens, and 1 single bunkbed room) is equipped with everything to catch up on a little R&R. Located in the centre of a quiet, family friendly lakeside subdivision with walking trails, boat launch, & small playground. Checkin is available on Mon or Fri, min 3 night stay.

The space
The partially fenced backyard offers similar vibes to a cottage with a rustic campfire, plastic adirondack chairs, picnic table, hammock, lounge chairs, and BBQ. Up the stairs to a huge screened-in porch with comfy seating and pingpong table! From there walk through the double french doors into the kitchen/dining room combo, with all the cooking supplies you'll need for your next meal and large dining table with ample room for six. Also on the main floor is living room with large TV, and bathroom with stacked washer/dryer. On the second floor you'll find 3 bedrooms - Master with king bed, walk-in closet, and a small walk-out patio. Second queen bedroom, and third room with single bunkbeds. There is also a second floor full bathroom with tub/shower and double sinks. The basement has a small 4th bedroom, another small bathroom with stand up shower, TV and family room.

We are centrally located in a quiet, family friendly, lakeside subdivision off Scott's Point. The house is about 30 meters from the water, which is at the end of a short dead end street (you can see it from the corner backyard). Nearby there are walking trails, boat launch and a small playground (a couple swings, slide, and climbing thing).

Our access to the lake at the end of the street is a beautiful spot to watch sunsets over the water, but not the best for swimming (the shoreline is rocky with some weeds). For swimming, there are many beautiful beaches all within a 15minute drive from the house. Our favourites are the picturesque beaches and hiking trails of Inverhuron Provincial Park and MacGregor Point Provincial Park. Also the local towns of Port Elgin and Kincardine both have beaches with volleyball courts, dining, shopping and more. Easy to make a day trip in either of these quaint coastal towns.

- This is a family oriented neighbourhood, and we have great friendships with, and very much respect our neighbours. Please respect them as well and ensure the noise is down by 11pm per local bylaws.

A lovely Inverhuron family cottage, steps to the sand beach, lake, playground and provincial park. A large dual level deck overlooks Inverhuron bay with great sunset views. The cottage is 1200 sq. ft. with two bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with king (can convert to a twin) as well as bunk beds. Open concept living space also has a spectacular view. There is a full bath with tub and shower and full laundry. It is available weekly only, Sun-Sun.

The space
The main living area is an open concept kitchen, living room and dining room with large windows providing a view of the lake. From the dining room there is a glass door to the elevated dual level deck with a conversation set. fire table, dining table and BBQ for a great outdoor evening. The deck over looks lake street which is a small dirt one way road that you can stroll along to a beach access 100 m away or less than 5 minutes to Inverhuron's beautiful sand beach.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, dual closets, television and chromecast. The second bedroom is larger and has bunk beds as well as a king bed (can convert to a twin for more floor space), a dresser and closet. There is also a full bathroom with tub and shower.

The kitchen is fully equiped so all you need to bring is your food. In the basement there is a standup freezer for extra food storage as well as a washer and dryer.

Each bedroom has its own ceiling fan and there are inverters with air conditioning in the main room as well as the second bedroom. There is also a cozy fireplace in the living room for those chillier evenings.

Please note before booking that this property is rented as a traditional cottage rental and therefore does not include bedding and cleaning is expected before checkout. Please read property information in photos.

Welcome to our modern SHouse apartment, constructed in 2022 and just steps away from the shores of Lake Huron. It has all of the upgrades to make you feel more at home, including a smart TV, Wi-Fi, heat, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and seating both indoor and out. You will have a comfortable place to relax in rain, shine, or snow.

The accommodation is 800 square feet and includes one bedroom (queen bed) and one bathroom. The living room features a sleeper sofa. Should you wish to enjoy a campfire, bundles of wood can be purchased for $10 each and will be delivered before your arrival. Please let us know if you are interested in purchasing a bundle of wood for your stay.

We are centrally located in the quiet, friendly, lakeside subdivision of Scott's Point. The apartment is about 50 meters from the water, which is at the end of a short dead end street. Nearby, you'll discover hiking trails, a children's playground, and a boat launch. A dock rental is available for $100/week.
