We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.

We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

Extra Linens: In a plastic bin alongside the air mattress, you will find two bath towels and two hand towels, a set of sheets, and a throw blanket. Please use pillows from one of the beds for the air mattress.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.

We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

- "This is a very low key hotel/suite. You can see theyre trying, but no one was at the checkin desk at arrival or check out. They were very professional and showed in a very short time after I called. When i got on the room, there was a sign about cleaning the coffee maker.There was no coffee maker. There was also no trash can or iron on the room. I did not call to fix this. I figured no one would be at the desk again. There was a fridge, and a built in hot plate, and a microwave, which had no turn plate. The dishwasher needed claning. I wanted to like this stay better. A waste basket and iron would have helped greatly. "

RECENTLY LISTED! Take advantage of low prices our first few months, as this is a new listing and we want to fill it and get reviews. This is 4 bedroom (1 bedroom is located in finished basement) 1600 Sqft home, with plenty of space, and can sleep up to 9 guest(3Queen Beds and a full size). It has a few rough edges as my wife and I renovated the majority of this home by ourselves, to give it a modern touch, if you are put off by small cosmetic imperfections, this may not be the home for you. We prefer Airbnbers with experience, and understand that this home is our personal living space when we are in the area.

TRASH:

Please make sure your trash is taken out on trash day. To avoid additional fees please make sure all trash is bagged up properly and taken out on trash day. All trash bags MUST be tied and secured!

Near downtown Southfield. . We are: a private investigator/musician, , and a female guest from Texas. Has been here for several months. Barney is now the dog of the house, Buck's gone to heaven. Yes there is hot water.

The room measures 13 by 9.5 feet. The work desk is 4 by 2 feet, 29 inches tall. The room had the hardwood floors refinished.

Guests have access to bathrooms, kitchen and dining room. Also there is a propane grill and back yard with apple and pear trees. The kitchen has a microwave, an oven (electric), a stove-top (electric).

During your stay
One of the residents will be available to give assistance if needed. Buck loves to interact with guests and loves to greet people in his own language.
I prefer guests to have a busy schedule. I have had a medical students, an attorney, an intern who were all on different assignments. This was ideal for all of us here.

Other things to note
It is pretty quiet around here most of the time. Barney regularly chases squirrels out of the back yard and seems to sense when there are deer hanging around, and barks at them. He also seems to know when there are people walking down the street, especially if they are walking their dogs. Barney now 10 years old, loosing his sight but gets around pretty good.
