- "Absolutely disgusting. This place was a nightmare. Advertised as a "newly renovated apartment" with a cleaning fee tacked on. There was a disgusting wet moldy carpet in the hall. The carper inside the building was riddled with all kinds of dirt and grime. The sleeping area had some other individuals dirty panties by the bed. There was a beer can in the shower, along with someones hair and pubes. The kitchen sink had food in it. Oh! And there was NO CENTRAL AC in this hot, musty, moldy, basement apartment. The floor was sticky and everything was just so gross we couldnt get out of there fast enough. Spent 3 hours dealing with VRBO support, could not get in touch with owner when he did respond he offered a "discount" for our inconconvenience. GET A HOTEL. We left right away and did not even stay. I have never had an experience like this and i dont think I'll be chancing it with VRBO again. Between the misadvertising, Terrible customer support, and awful host, id rather stay in my car."

This is a “mother in law” house or guest house on the property. Enter through the front door. I usually leave it unlocked with the keys on the kitchen table. This walk up apartment is less than a mile from downtown Dearborn which includes tons of restaurants and some shopping. Located in a super cute, historic neighborhood, perfect for evening walks and just 3 blocks from popular frozen custard shop. We have a large kitchen fully stocked with cooking essentials, a coffee bar, some snacks, and a cute seating area. The living room doubles as a bedroom for two, and the shower has amazing water pressure. Plenty of street parking. NO smoking of any kind.

The space
The apartment has tons of natural light, keeps cool with our two window AC units, and nice and warm in the winter with our radiant heat. We also have an electric fireplace/space heater for even further temp control. The radiators are perfect as towel warmers in the winter! You do not have access to the radiant heat thermostat, but message us and we will adjust it to whatever makes you comfortable!

We are a mile from the Henry Ford Village and Museum and downtown Dearborn. At the corner there is a bakery, fresh food market, gas station and a frozen custard shop. Kroger, Marshalls, the post office, restaurants, is down the street if you need anything. Summers downtown Dearborn include Friday Farmer's Markets and music & movies in the park.

15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from a shopping center (target, tj-max, meijer, old navy, home depot, etc). 20 minutes from downtown Detroit. Two blocks from a local pool where you can get a day pass in the summer.

We have a few games and books for your use and a desk if you need to get work done. The kitchen has a coffee bar with ground coffee, syrups, sugar, and cream. We also provide popcorn and an air popper, and basic seasonings for cooking.

We include a smart tv with roku, a dvd player for playing the provided dvds, books, and some small kids toys & books. In the kitchen you'll find the essentials and some snacks that vary but often include granola bars, popcorn, tea, coffee. You'll find a fan for white noise in the closet along with extra pillows, sheets and blankets. Whatever you need to have a relaxing, comfortable stay, is provided for you!
