The person that checked me in offered to send me to their sister hotel but I really needed a fridge for all the things I brought. I asked if there was an upgrade or something. He said there wasn't but that he would give me an additional room down the hall. This was the best option! My boys are old enough that they could be on their own and my boys felt very grown up having their own room. It really turned my experience around. I couldn't be happier, and we got to sleep in a king size bed. The hotel offers breakfast in the morning, to be honest I was not a fan of it but still nice to have it. We did definitely utilize it. My teen boys were still able to find enough to eat and could make their own waffles. I was also told that dinner items were offered Monday Wednesday. The day we checked in I think they had pizza. We did not take advantage of that since our schedule was very packed. The rooms were clean and AC worked like a charm. Overall really good experience."

We explored our older, but very clean one bedroom suite that had a living room, full kitchen, a dining room, a bedroom, and a full bath. There were free snacks, sodas, and cold water for us. The nephew quickly showed up with an enormous dinner on a large silver tray: beef, lamb, chicken, rice, hummus, veggies, bread, dessert, and truffles among other things. The food was fantastic!!! We did need to leave early and called the owner to tell her that we were leaving. She said, “You can’t stay for breakfast?” It was quite a unique experience—the staff of two were so warm, generous, kind, caring, and loving people. This type of stay is not for everyone. It will be unforgettable for me!!!"

- "The property was a small but everything you need.!" - "We stayed here for four nights before heading to Toronto. This place was extremely convenient for the three of us to explore the Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village/Rouge Plant Tour, Frankenmuth, and Detroit. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and this place was definitely not lacking when it came to parking since we had two trucks (hard to find adequate free parking in the Northeast). We found this place to be clean, comfortable and had all necessary items to feel at home. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

There is a queen bed in the bedroom. Also, there is a sofa/lounge sleeper (Costco) in the living room. A floor mattress is also available upon request. There is a smart television only in the living room. Two bar stools in the kitchen and a work station. One full bathroom with sit down shower. Full kitchen with all necessary cooking items and laundry room.

- "It was very nice" - "Home was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Close proximity to restaurants and the Detroit river. There was construction on the street, which made parking a little difficult. The neighbor allowed us to park a vehicle in their driveway. Would recommend." - "Our host was phenomenal - he responded to questions immediately and was most accommodating. The house is lovely - hardwood floors, great living space, kitchen nicely equipped. 2 bedrooms with extra comfy beds made our rest times great. The window treatments are new, and allow light to come in, so home is bright inside. In the dining area, a large picture window looks out on a great backyard - for us, it was wonderful to have breakfast and 'visit' with area wildlife (black squirrels and bluejays in particular). We were only 12 minutes from the place holding our seminar and the location is fabulous relative to stores, restaurants & other interesting places. In addition to being clean, welcoming and relaxing, our host furnished lovely towels and toiletries. I would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend our host. - "So the house was in a great location. The house is clean. It was nice however, the bathrooms need to be redone. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and the handles came off when turning on the water for the tub. There also wasn’t enough towels for everyone as there was only two bath towels. If you say the house can sleep four then you should have at least four bath towels. Overall, the place was nice." - "My boyfriend and I had a blast. - "The house was okay. One thing it could use is a full size mirror. Did have shampoo which was nice. Not all the games in the garage worked. The garage could have been cleaned before our arrival lots of spider webs. The TV didn’t work but the host helped with that problem. Thanks!" - "OVERALL - Property was clean and had pretty much all you needed for a few people to stay and have some fun playing games and so on. MORE DEEETS - Reservation started a bit funky as the owner had the home double booked. Ended up just pushing my res back 1 day to make it easy on everyone. Once the property was cleaned got my door code, so check in was easy. Property was nicely cleaned, minus a cup of ice in the garbage. But hey its SUMMER! Right? So starting outside... Yard was nice, garage is filled with games like air hockey. My 11 year old son and 14 year old daughter had fun playing that, basketball, and arcade games. Basement has laundry machines but other than a couch (Donnie, add some stuff down there. Make the space usable). Kitchen was nice, with a big fridge, cups and plates, and they even left ice in the freezer! Nice touch! Dining room has a table for 4 if I recall. Living room was relaxing, with a nice Sony smart TV (one in garage as well) and roller ottomans under the coffee table. As far as the house features go it is suited to having some friends or kids hang and play in the garage. Being the weekend of the 4th we got a bit of a break on the noise factor but you can shut the garage doors and it was pretty good at keeping noise out. I saw a heater on the ceiling. There was also a dry bar, fridge, and a microwave. Sleeping was pretty straightforward, with a comfy Queen in the main, 2 singles that were adequate, and couches that my son slept on and said were comfy. Beds all appeared clean and despite the rooms being a bit on the basic side they were fine and I slept well! OVERALL - cool property. Nicely cleaned. A bit pricey but not terribly so, and on par relative to the area. The gaming aspect is cool and for a group of buddies or a family it would be a feature that might make renting here worth it on that alone. Donnie was decently communicative. Tons to do in the area as well for those who might be using it more as a hub to go downtown or to Ann Arbor, etc."

Home was super clean, the lights in the bedroom were a great touch and the hot tub was bigger than expected. I enjoyed my stay. Checking in was easy, home was easy to find. Only downside was the neighbor was parked so close to the driveway for the home I rented out it was hard for me to get in and out the driveway but overall 10/10!"

- "This home is very small but Chae made me happy the refrigerator wasn’t working when I informed her she came right over, then texted me she has a larger home we could get for the same as we paid so we moved to the 3 bedroom with the much larger bathroom.
