While we don't offer designated parking, you'll find convenient free spots along Forest Ave and behind the building on Prentis. Metered parking is available on Cass Avenue for your peace of mind.

Gatherings:
Detroit is a city of energy and excitement, and while we encourage you to soak it all in, our property maintains a strict "No Party" policy to respect the peace of our community.

Quiet Hours:
To ensure everyone's stay is enjoyable, we observe quiet hours from 11pm to 8am. We trust our guests to be considerate of others in the building during their stay.

Smoking:
We are committed to providing a smoke-free environment. A minimum fee of $250 will be charged for any smoking detected in the apartment.

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 21 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 21 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.

Security:
Your safety is our priority. Audio/video recording devices are installed in common areas and building exteriors for security. Rest assured, your private space inside the unit is recording-free.

Please note that any house rules violation will incur an additional $150 penalty charge.

In the state of Michigan, alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco are legal substances. However, their use on our property is subject to the following conditions:

* Marijuana: Smoking or vaping marijuana is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Guests may only use marijuana in designated smoking areas on the property.
* Tobacco: Smoking or vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Cigarettes may only be smoked in designated smoking areas on the property.

3. Non-Compliance:
Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate action, which may include eviction, reporting to the OTA, and notification to local authorities.

Any evidence of a party or event, including camera footage, excessive garbage, or other evidence will result in a fine of $500.00, legal action, and possible eviction without reimbursement, plus the cost of any extra cleaning or damages that result from the event. Noise detection monitors are present.

**Local Guests MUST let us know at the time of booking if additional visitors will arrive during the stay or reservation will be canceled. No exceptions, no refunds**

Missing or damaged items - Any evidence of willful or negligent loss or damage to the property, furnishings, decoration, landscaping, towels, linens FOB Keys, or other items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $250.00.

Unauthorized Animal/Pet Fee: $250.00

Towels and linens - Guests are required to keep towels and linens in good condition. Towels and washcloths should not be used to remove makeup or for cleaning purposes. Any permanent stains on towels or linens will fall into the category of negligent damage and are not included in the damage protection policy. Guests should NOT wash comforters or duvet comforters themselves as this can cause damage to those items and the washing machine.

House Rules - Any evidence of a guest breaking posted house rules, including exceeding the occupancy listed by the guest on the reservation, parking restrictions, pool rules, illegal substances, or use of the property can result in a fine of up to $1000.00 and/or eviction from the property.

Missing or damaged items - Any evidence of willful or negligent loss or damage to the property, furnishings, decoration, landscaping, towels, linens, or other items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $300.00.

Towels and linens - Guests are required to keep towels and linens in good condition. Towels and washcloths should not be used to remove makeup or for cleaning purposes. Any permanent stains on towels or linens will fall into the category of negligent damage and are not included in the damage protection policy. You can access the building through the main entrances. we ask that you be respectful of the home and community. The home is not baby-proofed and hence may not be ideal for families with small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion.

The fastest way to reach us is through the message feature on the VRBO app, phone calls or emails will be delayed.

You can get around using various transportation options such as:

Car: There are several car rental companies available in the area. Additionally, you can also use ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft.

Our Core Value is to be a good neighbor and comply with all local regulations. Therefore, all guests MUST agree to the house rules before/during their stay as there are other tenants at the property.

- All guests are screened using our third-party partner, Autohost. In order to abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you will be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal, pay a security deposit and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.

MAIL & PACKAGE DELIVERY

We discourage direct delivery to the building/apartment. It is recommended to make use of a nearby pickup/drop-off location to guarantee receipt of your mail/package.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties and smoking anywhere on our premises. All our units come equipped with noise sensors. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. Should removal be required, it will be done at the guest's expense.

Unapproved late checkout will result in a $50 charge for every hour after the scheduled checkout time.

Smoking - Smoking inside or outside on the patio/balcony, parking lot, or within 50ft of the property is STRICTLY prohibited, as this is a smoke-free community. Any smell noticed by cleaners in the house, and/or any physical evidence of smoking any substance in the home will result in a fine of $300.00 to cover the cost of deep cleaning and ozone treatment.

Parties and Events - Parties and events are STRICTLY prohibited. Any evidence of a party or event, including camera footage, excessive garbage, or other evidence will result in a fine of $500.00, legal action, and possible eviction without reimbursement, plus the cost of any extra cleaning or damages that result from the event. This unit is equipped with Noise detection monitors.

Unauthorized Animal/Pet Fee: $250.00

Missing or damaged items - Any evidence of willful or negligent loss or damage to the property, furnishings, decoration, landscaping, towels, linens, or other items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $300.00.

Towels and linens - Guests are required to keep towels and linens in good condition. Towels and washcloths should not be used to remove makeup or for cleaning purposes. Any permanent stains on towels or linens will fall into the category of negligent damage and are not included in the damage protection policy. Guests should NOT wash comforters or duvet comforters themselves as this can cause damage to those items and the washing machine.

House Rules - Any evidence of a guest breaking posted house rules, including exceeding the occupancy listed by the guest on the reservation, parking restrictions, pool rules, illegal substances, or use of the property can result in a fine of up to $1000.00 and/or eviction from the property.

You must also acknowledge: Potential for noise - This is a quiet residential neighborhood and building. Noise can transfer easily to neighbors through walls and floors.

The space
Walk inside this beautiful oasis in the heart of the city of Detroit, two blocks away from the historical Boston Edison District, featuring mansions of historical figures who built the city of Detroit like Henry Ford and Motown own Barry Gordy.

When you walk inside you’re greeted with a foyer with beautiful artwork and LED furniture throughout. Expansive living room with high ceilings, beautifully designed, with an accent wall to featuring a flatscreen TV and fireplace. Enjoy seating with two couches two accent chairs.

Continuing through the living room is the breathtaking dining room with a dining table that seats 8 people, with bar chairs and a window seat for additional seating. The accent wall and the fixtures really make this room stand out.

Entering the kitchen, you’re greeted with beautiful black and gold accents, tons of cabinets and stainless steel appliances, including the Samsung smart TV refrigerator, dishwasher and stove with built-in air fryer.

Through the kitchen, you access the backyard oasis which features tons of seating, a gazebo and fire pit for those late night chats. Beautiful LED lights for a great relaxing feel. Also there’s a two car garage that supports Tesla charging and also a great place to hang out as well.

Back through the kitchen you can access the basement featuring a queen size bedroom, and a seating area with two sofa sleepers and a 50 inch TV. The basement also has a half bathroom and laundry room.

Back upstairs through the main level, you walk through the foyer to access the second floor, which features 4 beautiful designed bedrooms including a king size bedroom that you won’t want to leave and a full bathroom. Plenty of natural light everything is open and very clean.

Continue on through one of the bedrooms, we have a bonus loft on the third floor for even more room tospread out and separation. Up here we have 3 double floor mattresses and two futons as well as two TVs. But the star of the show is the bathroom with the massive shower with multi head shower sprayer.

This property is truly, an amazing place to spend with friends and family what’s the capacity to sleep up to 22 people comfortably and have a great trip in Detroit. Close to everything, you’re 7 minutes from downtown and 1 minute from the freeway. The home is fully stocked and the host goes over and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy.
Guest access
Guest will have access to the entire property apart from a locked storage room in the basement where our stock is located. Garage access is available for an extra fee.
Other things to note
The third-floor loft has sloped ceilings and the mattresses sits on the floor without bed frames. It is very comfortable with its own heating and cooling unit and its own bathroom, but you will have to climb steps to access it.

One of the bedroom is smaller than the other and we have to enter it to get to the loft.

One of the queen size bedrooms is located in the basement, but it’s very clean and private.

We do not allow shoes on the carpets and this is a non-smoking property.
