Fairfax grocer across the street was amazing, and everything that we needed to get to was less than 10 minutes away. Check-in was easy; the apartment was nicely decorated and super comfortable for our family of 3. Beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and safe save one noisy neighbor one night, but it didn’t last long. When we had an issue with the shower drain, the property manager was responsive and got it fixed the following day. It’s an older property with the quirks that come with that (creaky floors), but it is classic and comfortable with a lot of light and a great little market right across the street. We bought a non-slip mat for the shower and left it there for future guests. Rated 4 for cleanliness only because the ducts need a good clean, but that’s an easy fix. Our family recommends this property to anyone visiting Detroit!"

- "I loved this place and enjoyed my stay. My only complaint is that it wasn’t truly air conditioned. There was a small floor unit that was cool if you sat right next to it in the living room. Fans were provided but couldn’t do enough on 80 degree days. On cooler days it was pleasant with the windows open. The owner was wonderful, responsive and provided toiletries and special touches like local specialties such as Faygo in the fridge. Everything was comfortable, welcoming and beautifully arranged. We had a problem with water temps and tub draining slow in mst Bath. There was not a corkscrew and wine glasses at the home. These were minor problems and the issues were communicated to the host. He said he was unaware of this and would be sure that this was taken care of for future rentals. Overall, Host was very responsive and accommodating. I needed an early check in and Host was able to work with me to make this happen. Beds also slept comfortably. Would consider renting again on future stays."

ensure our neighbors are not being disturbed. If you exceed the noise limit during your stay, we will be notified as well as you.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOME. If we smell cigarette smoke or marijuana use inside the house after your check out, you will be charged $150. Please do not move the furniture. If you need to move something temporarily, you must place it back in its original location before checking out.

If you are staying longer than 1 week: please be
aware that this is not a hotel that provides around-the-clock service. You will be responsible for minor household items and cleaning up after yourself. We will provide assistance for major tasks such as lawn
